OOC For the record, this isn't the one where Stefan loses control. I figured there could be a couple of different threads where he's building a tolerance before that happens.
IC Stefan paced back and forth nervously. He wasn't sure if this was a good idea, but it was worth a shot. Heck, he had already drank from Elena once. But he wouldn't be going taking as much this time. No, he would be taking it a slow, a little every day. Even though he still didn't agree with the idea of him drinking from Elena---or any human for that matter---he knew that it was necessary. He'd never forget the look on Elena's face when Katherine had almost killed her. And he hadn't been able to stop her. He hadn't been strong enough. He was weak on animal blood and he knew it. Normally he wouldn't care about something like that, but when it came to fighting Katherine and keeping Elena safe, he knew that strength was the name of the game. But still, it didn't mean that he had to like it.
He let out an unneeded breath as he ran his fingers through his hair. Maybe I should call them and tell them I changed my mind, he thought to himself. Yeah, to say that that Stefan was nervous about this was an understatement. He didn't trust himself not to lose control, which was why Anna was supervising him. She wouldn't let him hurt anyone. Everything would be fine. It just had to be. Yeah, all he had to do was keep telling himself that and maybe he would believe it.
Hearing footsteps outside, he headed for the front door and opened it. "Come on in," he said, opening the door further and standing aside so that the girls could come in.

Anna smirked as she stood on the doorstep with Elena. She could feel the hatred radiating off of her. This should be interesting. Just before Anna could decide whether or not to say something smart, the door opened. Anna almost laughed. If possible, Stefan looked even more uncomfortable than Elena. "Hey buddy." She grinned, patting him on the shoulder before walking past him to where she knew a drink cart was. If this was how her afternoon was going to go, she'd need something strong. She knew Elena had no clue what had gone down in New York and nether of the vampires had any intention of letting on, but Anna wished she had gotten here first. This would have gone better had he at least drank from her within the last 24 hours. Oh well.... She poured herself a drink and sat down on couch closest to the fire, waiting for the others to enter the room. There was a certain way they needed to go about things if she was going to be involved. Stefan and Damon were her only allies at the moment, and when her and Stefan's secret got out, that number might drop to one. Elena and Stefan entered the room ad Anna sighed. "Ohkay, if you're crazy enough to do this, I'm not going to try to talk you out of it." She said to Elena before addressing Stefan. "You already know where I stand on the matter. Same rules as the city. Got it?" She waited for his agreement. They both knew what she meant. If he got out of hand, she was to snap his neck. If he got all Ripper-y, she'd throw him in the cellar and drain him. NOTES || OUTFIT || here.

Elena stood there on the porch with Anna. It was awkward and tense. Anna knew that Elena wasn't happy about the New York trip. Elena had always liked Anna and never had anything against her. Now with all the secrets piling up she felt like she had one more to deal with. Anna still didn't hate the girl but she no longer particularly cared for her. She knew she was only trying to help Stefan and that part, Elena appreciated. Elena watched as Stefan opened the door and Anna marched right on in, giving Stefan a pat on the shoulder and then helped herself inside. Elena narrowed her eyes a little at her as she then walked in.
Elena stopped and looked at Stefan. Her face said it all. She still didn't understand why Damon couldn't be the one to watch over Stefan. Elena didn't like Damon right now but he was still better than Anna. At least Damon didn't run off to New York with her boyfriend. She walked further into the house and into the living room. She heard Anna's comment about not stopping him but not liking it. Elena had brought clothes to stay the night and they were in a bag she was carrying. Her and Stefan made plans to get dinner after they were done here and then Elena will just stay with Stefan. She hadn't been sleeping at her house alone ever since Katherine was back. Whenever Jenna was home and sleeping at the Gilbert house for the night, Stefan and Elena would sleep at the Boarding house together but if she was out they'd go to Elena's house. This was the only perk to Katherine being back. Elena loved waking up with Stefan every morning.
Stefan wasn't letting Elena out of his sight since Katherine was back. Elena looked at Anna as she listened to her comments and then dropped her bag on the ground rather annoyed and it was obvious. "it's the only way, Anna" She simply said as she then walked further into the den.

As soon as he opened the door wide enough for them to walk through, Anna greeted him with a pat on the shoulder and then headed straight for where he and Damon kept their liquor. Well, he couldn't really blame her. He felt like he needed a drink himself. Ah, the heck with it. He walked over to the cart, grabbed a bottle of his favorite Scotch, opened it, and drank from the bottle. Yeah the way he was feeling, a glass wasn't going to cut it. Yeah, he was nervous about this, no ifs, ands, or buts. But what else could they do? It wasn't like he could keep feeding from Anna. It'd just make her weaker and easier for Katherine to kill and they were all looking for ways to defeat his Sire, not help her win.
As the alcohol went down his throat, he heard Anna tell Elena that she wasn't going to stop her from going through with her plan even though she didn't particularly like it. "Elena, you can still change your mind. We can always figure out some other way. I don't want you doing something you're not completely comfortable with," he stated after he had finished his drink. Then he returned his attention to Anna who told him that the same rules that they had had in the city applied here. "Understood," he said curtly. Oddly enough, it was actually pretty comforting to know that the other girl wasn't afraid to snap his neck or drive a stake through his heart if he lost control of himself.
From Elena's expression, Stefan knew she wasn't happy about the fact that Anna was the one watching over them and that she was confused as to why it couldn't be Damon. But it couldn't be Damon. He wouldn't understand what they were trying to do---why he he had to be careful. Plus, he'd just make a big joke out of the whole thing. So yeah, Damon supervising this was not an option. He then nodded in agreement as Elena said that this was the only way for them to handle things. "She's right, Anna. I have to get stronger. Things are more dangerous now. I can't be weak, and you're the only one I trust with this. Damon would---let's just say I know my brother," he stated. He then set his bottle of Scotch back down on the table and then went into the den. Hopefully this wasn't about to blow up in everybody's faces...

It amused Anna that Stefan needed a drink just as much as she did. This was an insane plan. Definitely more insane than her plan for the city. At least no one that mattered would have gotten hurt. This was different. This was someone Stefan cared about. It could be just what he needed to stay grounded, or it could not matter at all and they could be plotting Elenas death, at which point Stefan would seriously go off the deep end and never return. Anna was sure of that. Which brought her to her next point. She let them both talk, holding her tongue till they were through. She poured herself another drink and watched them. So at what point do I take matters into my own hands? She said pointedly to Stefan. Her eyes flickered to Elena and she added When am I aloud to feed you my blood in case he goes to far. He knew what she was really asking, but she had to speak carefully in front of the human. Where would the line be drawn? Where would they break their little vow of silence and bloodshare to keep him under control? But there was truth to what she told Elena. That was another thing to consider. She looked at Stefan again and waited. He probably wouldn't want them bloodsharing at any cost, not in front of his beloved girlfriend. She'd probably go postal, anyways and Anna really didn't wanna deal with that. Stefan would most likely rather her stake him than bloodshare with her here, but that wasn't on Annas to-do list, either. Snap his neck and drain him in the cellar. That was the emergency plan. She was under no circumstances killing Stefan Salvatore. At Stefans mention of his brother, Anna laughed. Yeah, I know your brother, too. This stays between us. She pointed to the both of them. I don't wanna be on that hit list, got it? She was already going to be in enough trouble with Damon without adding blood sucking babysitter to the list. NOTES || OUTFIT || here.[/tt]

Elena looked at Stefan as he said she could still change her mind. She wouldn't though. He needed this and they all knew it. Elena shook her head and walked up to him. "No, I'm not changing my mind Stefan. Not with Katherine threatening everyone I love..." she said looking at Stefan as she trailed off. "I can't lose anyone else" She said in almost a whisper shaking her head slightly at him. "I'm ready, whatever I have to do" She said looking to both Stefan and Anna. Stefan understood how Elena felt. He was there when her parent's died and watched her grieve. She couldn't lose anyone else she loved. Elena carried the weight around of everyone else. She was a very caring girl like that and she can't hold much more of anyone else's grief. She already had to be strong for Jeremy while she herself was hurting, but couldn't show it.
Elena looked at Anna as she asked when she's supposed to feed her her blood. "Is that safe?" Elena asked both of them. Elena and Stefan hadn't talked about it before, if Elena were to become a vampire. Her odds were higher than most since she was dating one. "I mean...we all know Katherine's not my biggest fan and she's already threatened to kill me countless times, I mean..." She said trailing off. If Elena had Anna's blood in her system and Katherine did exactly what she wanted and killed Elena, she would be a vampire. Katherine wouldn't hesitate to kill Elena just so she could have Stefan all to herself. She didn't like the fact that they were together. Elena felt like she would constantly be on edge knowing Anna's blood was in her system.
Elena watched the exchange between Anna and Stefan. All Elena could do was sit there and think. Stefan did need to be stronger. Before, his diet was okay and acceptable because there were no threats in Mystic Falls. Now, there were many and he had no way of protecting her or even himself against Katherine. Elena looked at Anna, suddenly thinking about Jeremy. "You can't tell Jeremy either" Elena knew her brother and knew he wouldn't take that well. Elena already didn't like it that Anna had gotten him more involved with vampires and such. but who was she to judge? If she followed her own advice she would have walked away from Stefan. She couldn't be a hypocrite though. She understood that you can't help who you fall in love with. But Elena wanted to keep him as protected and sheltered as she possibly could and he just didn't need to know this.
Elena sighed and looked at Anna. "Thank you, Anna...for doing this" She said thinking she owed her a thank you. She may very well be saving Elena's life right now, and Stefan's.

He then managed a smile at Elena as she told him that she wouldn't change her mind and she was willing to do whatever was needed since Katherine was threatening everyone she loved. Does she even realize how strong she is? he wondered. He had a feeling that she didn't. She was probably scared as hell---not that he could blame her---and yet, she was choosing to do this anyway.
At Anna's question, Stefan turned to her. She had a point. They needed to set up some boundaries and they needed to make sure that Elena wasn't drained too much. "I was okay the first few seconds I started feeding. After that, I lost it. So give me three seconds and then pry me off. If you can't, snap my neck, get her out of here, give her blood if she needs it, and then throw me in the cellar," he responded. That probably wasn't what either of them wanted to hear, but it really was the best solution. He wasn't going to let him become a danger to Elena just because he went psycho. But he had to overcome his weakness when it came to the blood. He had to control this. It was the only way to get on equal ground with Katherine. Not that he could ever be on equal ground with her, but this would at least give him a better chance at fighting her. He then turned to Elena asked if it was safe for Anna to give her her blood. "I know you're worried about what could happen---the possibility of being turned---but it takes a certain amount of blood in your system for that to happen. And I don't believe Anna would give you that much," he answered. He wasn't sure what her stance on becoming a vampire was, though he was pretty sure that she didn't want that life, and he couldn't say that he blamed her. If he had the chance to do it all again, he'd have Emily kill him so that Damon wouldn't be turned. He then nodded as Anna stated that she knew Damon as well and that didn't want to be on a hit list. "Damon wouldn't put you on a hit list, he'd buy you a drink and then try to take me clubbing," he joked, flashing her a smile. "Jeremy might be a little put out though, not that I'd really be able to blame him," he continued, his brows furrowed in concentration. He couldn't even imagine being in the boy's shoes. What would it be like to find out that your sister was offering herself up as a meal to her blood-addicted boyfriend? It wouldn't be a pretty picture that was for sure. When Elena added that they couldn't tell Jeremy, he nodded reassuringly. "He won't hear about it from me," he promised. He wasn't about to speak for Anna, but he had a feeling that she wouldn't want the boy to hear about this either.
Stefan glanced back at Anna as Elena thanked her. "Yeah, thanks. I know you could've very easily told me to take a hike," he added. Or you know, laughed in his face. Because let's face it. What kind of normal vampire couldn't even control themselves well enough to feed on a human without killing them? But that was the purpose of this little exercise: to get him to feed like a normal vampire.

Anna fought the urge to roll her eyes. Katherine wouldn't kill Elena. She'd maybe try to turn her, but never kill her. There was no way. She wasn't stupid enough to have both Salvatore boys out for revenge. The girl was already running, from who Anna wasn't sure. Stefan gave her instructions and Anna nodded, not exactly liking what she was hearing, but accepting it all the same. This was their game, she was just supervising. You'll be fine. She assured Stefan, then looked at Elena and assured her the same thing. I can handle him. She could. She had proved that much in New York. She was older, smarter, and just all around knew her limits better than Stefan did. What Anna couldn't help but worry about was Elenas pure determination. Stefan would back off at the first sign of losing control, but Elena...she wanted to believe in him so much, she had so much faith in him, too much faith. This could get dangerous easy. Anna laughed. I'm not worried he'll be mad I'm helping you. I'm worried he'll kill me for using her to do it. She smirked at Stefan. And if you think I'm stupid enough to tell Jeremy I'm serving his sister up as lunch, you've lost it. He already pretty much hates me. She admitted to her ex's sister. She didn't wanna think about Jeremy right now. It still hurt. They both thanked her and she shrugged. I owe you one. She said half-hearedly. There was no way Elena would know what she was talking about, but Stefan knew he had a hand in helping her fake her own death. She would have been ashes had it not been for Stefan and Damon. Elena listened to Stefan as he gave Anna instructions on what to do if he loses control. She looked at them back and forth then narrowed her eyes at Stefan as he said to snap his neck and put him in the cellar. "you'll be fine" She said demandingly. Even though she knew snapping the neck of a vampire wasn't a big deal, she did know it hurt them for a little. Even for a little bit she couldn't stand Stefan hurting. She knew there wouldn't be a need for that. She didn't want that to happen and didn't want to see it.
Elena listened to them talk about Jeremy. "He's been through enough that I couldn't protect him from but this..he just can't know" She said to Stefan then looked at Anna to reassure her of that. Jeremy knew all about the supernatural world at this point even though Elena tried to keep it from him for so long. She didn't want him getting involved. Once he was involved, he was in danger. Everyone who knew was. She tried to protect him from that but could only keep him from it for so long. He eventually found out and they sat down and talked about it. but this was different. This would crush him and make him angry.
Elena smiled at Stefan as he said he wouldn't hear it from him. She knew Stefan respected her and would do whatever she wished. She looked at Anna waiting to hear it from her. Once she heard it, in an odd way, it didn't matter it was still reassuring Elena that he wouldn't find out. She smiled a tiny bit and nodded. "Thank you, both of you" She said looking from the two. Elena looked over at Stefan and walked over to him smiling. She reached up and placed a soft kiss on his lips and looked him in the eyes with one hand on his face. " I trust you" She reassured him, then looked at Anna. "i'm ready" She simply said.

Stefan nodded at Anna as she assured him that he'd be fine. He hoped that she was right. He couldn't protect Elena if he wasn't at full strength. And that was the most important thing to him: Elena's safety. He'd do anything to keep her safe. And it looked like she was willing to do anything for him as well. I still can't believe that she's so willing to do this for me, he thought to himself. How had he gotten so lucky?
Apparently, Elena wasn't too pleased with his instructions to Anna as she forcefully repeated the vampire's statement that he'd be fine. "I'm glad you have so much faith in me, but just in case I'm not fine, I still want Anna to snap my neck if she needs to," he told her. "It's for your protection. If I become a danger to you, I'll need to be taken care of quickly," he continued. He had no delusions of how dangerous this could become and he didn't want Elena to have any either. Not that she was acting like she had any, but still, it had to be said. He wanted to make sure she had all the facts about what they were doing.
Anna had a point about Damon and Jeremy's attitudes about them using Elena for this, though he was sorry to hear about the trouble between the younger Gilbert and the older vampire as he knew that she cared about the boy deeply. "Yeah, I know. They care about her and want to keep her safe just like I do," he responded and then turned to Elena. "And you can change your mind at any time," he told her. It was important to him that she knew that. He didn't want her thinking that she had no say in the matter. Because she did. It was very important to him that she felt comfortable with this. He then nodded in agreement and understanding as Elena chimed in, saying that the boy had been through enough things that she couldn't protect him from which was why he couldn't know what they were doing. "I understand. He's been through a lot and you're trying to keep him safe," he said. Plus, you know, this wasn't exactly any of Jeremy's business...though Stefan had much too much tact to say that.
When Anna said that she owed him one, Stefan shook his head. She didn't owe him anything for his part in helping her fake her death. It wasn't like she had faked her death for selfish reasons. She was just trying to stay alive. He couldn't fault her for that. "You don't owe me a thing. I was happy to help," he told her. And it was the truth. He'd do it again in a heartbeat...well...technically speaking...
When Elena said that she was ready, Stefan let his true features show and then reached over to brush her hair back, intending to kiss her a few times before sinking his fangs into her neck. Hey, just because he was going to feed from her didn't mean that he couldn't give her a little pleasure first. Besides, he was hoping that by acting like he usually did when they got intimate, he would be able to keep his senses about him. Because he really didn't want Anna to have to snap his neck...

Anna rolled her eyes. The cause was a mix of Elenas unwavering faith in her vampire boyfriend and Stefans unwavering faith in his own failure. Ohkay, let's just do this. She sighed. She truly wanted to help Stefan, but she wasn't going to watch these two play the blame game when the enevitable happen. She watched Stefan attempt to make Elena comfortable. She couldn't blame him. When he bit into her, it never hurt, it was euphoric. For a human, it was completely different. She only vaguely remembered being bitten. It was so long ago, so much had happened since then, and to be completely honest, she had tried whole heartedly to forget the day she found the majority of her family dead. She snapped back to attention and realized she had let Stefan continue longer than he originally stated. Stefan, stop./ She said calmly, putting her hand on his shoulder. She locked eyes with Elena, seeing how she was feeling. Her health was a top priority. If something happened to her, they were all dead. You ohkay, Elena? She asked. Here, sit. She pulled a chair over to them. She gave Stefan a once over, too. He looked fine, but in her opinion it was from pure determination. NOTES || I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! Elena really did have faith in Stefan. She didn't think it was too much faith either. She trusted him and loved him. That's how relationships worked right? What was a relationship with faith and trust. She had all of those things for Stefan and also respect. He wasn't doing this just for him. He was going through all this because Katherine wanted Elena dead and he wouldn't be able to stop her if he didn't do something. She loved him so much for that. She knew what human blood did to him and the fact that he was laying it all out on the line for her to make himself stronger for her...it showed a lot about their relationship.
Elena turned her head to the side as Stefan brushed her hair back. She closed her eyes and felt the kisses he gave her. She was glad he did so because it made all of this a lot easier. Elena gasped a little when she felt him bite into her. It hurt like hell, it really did. Her eyes went wide as every passing second she started to feel weaker and weaker. After awhile she wasn't feeling right but Anna wasn't stopping him. "Stefan..." Elena simply said in a whisper before Anna snapped him out of it and got his attention again. When he stopped Elena took in a deep breath as her hand went to her neck that was dripping blood. She felt herself go pale after losing blood but she knew she'd be okay.
Elena looked at Elena as she asked if she was okay. Elena gave her a slight nod before looking away. She kept her hand over her neck as she sat down in the chair Anna presented for her. She didn't really feel great anymore but she wasn't going to let either of them know this. It wasn't a big deal to Elena. She just hoped she didn't look as pale as she felt.

From the tone of Anna's sigh, Stefan could tell that she wasn't interested in hearing them blame themselves for everything that was going on and just wanted to get things over with...not that he could blame her. He was sure that she could think of a million things she'd rather do than help a vampire get control of his bloodlust when he should've been able to control it from the very start. But anyways, onto business.
As the blood went down his throat, he vaguely heard Elena saying his name, but her voice was soft. Too soft. Why was it so soft? It shouldn't be so soft. Then he felt Anna's hand on his shoulder as she told him to stop. Too much. He was taking too much. He gently removed his fangs from her skin and stepped back as Anna checked on Elena, making sure she was okay and sitting her down. He then inhaled and exhaled slowly. He had to keep cool. He had taken more than he had intended and he needed to regain control. Okay. Just breathe. You can do this, he assured himself and then looked over at Elena in concern. She looked really pale. "Are you sure you're okay? I know I took a bit more than I intended," he stated. How come Anna didn't stop me sooner? he wondered. Hadn't she realized how dangerous he was? If he had fed anymore, he could've lost control. And that was the whole point of this: to keep that from happening. If this had hurt Elena, he'd never forgive himself.

Anna procured a small vial from the pocket of her skin tight black jeans. Drink. She simply told Elena. Then lightly put her hand on Stefans shoulder and pulled him into another room. We need to talk. She sighed as she turned to face him. I'm sorry, ok? She really did feel bad. She shouldn't have needed to give Elena a vial so soon. Her estimate was maybe the third time at the earliest. She might not be on the best of terms with the girl, but she knew how strong she really was. Jeremy had told them what all they had been through. I got...i got a little lost, that's all. She looked down at her feet and shoved her hands in her pockets. She didn't want him to see the look in her eyes or the way her hands were shaking. You ready to try again? I promise I'll stay on point. She swore. Anna knew how important this was to him and Elena. She couldn't be the one to screw this up. NOTES || OUTFIT || here.[/tt]

Elena knew that she couldn't make a big deal out of how she was feeling. Stefan had to believe that she could handle it, and she could handle it. She wasn't feeling well but neither of them needed to know that. She was hoping she wasn't as pale as she felt. She heard Stefan asking if she was okay. She slowly looked up at him and simply nodded. She didn't feel okay but she was fine. That was what was important. That is what he asked her so she didn't lie. She was okay.
Elena looked over at Anna as she handed her something. Elena turned away and didn't take it. "I don't ned it I'm fine" She said. She heard Anna say she needed to talk to Stefan into another room. Elena narrowed her eyes. She really didn't know what the hell Anna was up to or what this new thing was between her and Stefan bonding and having "secret moments" like this and secret trips to New York but Elena wasn't a fan. She trusted Stefan, she truly did. trusting Stefan wasn't the problem. Elena wished so bad right now she had some super hearing power like they both did. Elena looked around the room she was now in alone. She stood up and walked over to the drinks. She poured herself some water and brought it to her lips.
Before Elena could take a sip though she started feeling faint. She didn't exactly know the limits Stefan had on how much to drink because she didn't know how much he needed or how much lost blood she could handle but she knew she wasn't feeling right. Elena put both of her hands on the drink carrier and pressed down on them, keeping her balance. She felt her eyes get heavy and she closed them and before she knew it, she hit the ground. Her hands had hit some glasses on her way down and caused them to hit the floor as well. Elena simply fainted.

Stefan stared at Elena worriedly as Anna pulled a vial of blood from her pocket and handed it to his girlfriend, telling her to drink. He had taken too much. He just knew it. She looked really bad. But why wasn't she saying anything? Did she think that he didn't want her to or something? That couldn't be further from the truth. He wanted to know if he had gone too far. He wanted to make sure that she was okay, so why wouldn't she take Anna's blood and insist that she was fine when it was obvious that she wasn't?
He then focused his attention on Anna as she placed a hand on his shoulder and pulled him into another room, saying that they had to talk. "I lost it in there. I took too much, I just know it. Maybe this was a bad idea," he said. I can't believe it. I could've killed her. I nearly did kill her, he thought. Maybe this had been a bad idea. Maybe he was just kidding himself into believing that he could gain control.
When she apologized, saying that she had gotten a little lost, his eyes with a bit of anger. Lost? He had nearly gotten out of control because she had mentally drifted? What the hell?! "Anna, I---" he cut himself off. Remember, she can easily kill you, he cautioned himself. "I can't afford to have something like this happen again. If you're not into this, please tell me now so I can come up with something else. I'd really like to avoid going psycho," he continued. Okay, maybe he sounded a little testy and it was probably more than a little stupid to take his current tone with her considering that she was older and stronger than him, but come on! They couldn't take chances like this! What if he had killed Elena? If he had done that, he would never forgive himself.
When Anna asked them if they were ready to try again, promising to stay focused, Stefan hesitated only for a moment before nodding. What are you thinking!? You nearly killed her! he reminded himself. But what else was he supposed to do? He had to get himself under control. And this was the only way to do it. It wasn't like he could ask anyone else to go through with this.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of his girlfriend's body hitting the floor and he blurred back into the other room to see her unconscious. Damn it! I knew I had taken too much! he thought. "Elena?" he asked frantically, as he went to pick her up. This was bad! He had definitely taken too much! What had he been thinking? Oh, right. He hadn't been thinking. He had just been concerned with being able to feed normally. Great. Some boyfriend he was. He had ended up draining the girl he loved.

Her heart sank as he tried not to yell at her. She knew she had screwed up. She took a deep breath and tried to steady herself before speaking, but when she finally did, it was hushed. I know. I'm sorry. It won't happen again. She knew he would pick up on this being completely unlike her, but she was trying to work past the flashbacks in her head. You know me. You know I'm here for you. I am not going to screw this up for you. Her voice was stronger this time, but she was still shaky. She knew he wasn't 100% agreed about trying again, but they didn't have much choice unless he wanted to keep bloodsharing and she knew he didn't. Not with her. She heard Elenas body hit the floor at the same time Stefan did and didn't waste any time getting to the next room. Anna noticed one thing immedietely. Elena hadn't drank the vial that was still lying on the table. Idiot. SHe murmered, procuring another one from her pocket and handing it to Stefan. It's your choice but you know it'll help. Elena clearly wanted to be strong for Stefan but it wasn't safe. This human was more stubborn than Anna had originally credited her for. Anna turned away and walked towards the window across the room. She was internally cursing herself. She couldn't watch Stefan beat himself up for something that was her fault. OOC Got permission from Elena to skip her just this once.
IC From Anna's expression, it was obvious that she felt bad about drifting off and she even apologized, assuring him that it wouldn't happen again. "Thank you," he said. "And I'm sorry I was short with you. I'm just a little on edge," he added. Well, that was putting it mildly. But he couldn't tell the truth and let her know that he was losing it. Showing something like that was a weakness and he couldn't show weakness. Not even in front of her. Weaknesses got you hurt and he wasn't going to let himself get hurt ever again.
He then nodded as she continued that he knew her, that she would be there for him, and that she wouldn't screw things up for him. "I know you're here for me. Thank you," he said softly. He was more grateful to her than she could ever know. He knew that the fact that he couldn't stop when he had human blood wasn't natural and between her and Damon, she was the one he trusted. Damon would either turn it all into a big game or he'd leave his younger brother to his own devices and neither option was very appealing.
Stefan stared at Elena worriedly, all the while, trying to quell his panic. What had he been thinking? Had he been thinking? Drink from her? Use her as a guinea pig in his experiment to control his bloodlust? Then Anna was handing him a vial of blood, saying that it was his choice to give it to her, but he knew that it would help. Could he really do that to her? Could he be as selfish with Elena as he was with Damon? But if he didn't give the vial, she could die. Well, that settled it. He wasn't letting her. Sorry, Lena. I hope you can forgive me, he thought to himself and opened the vial and then went to open her mouth with the intention of pouring the blood down her throat. Hopefully, she'd be able to take it.

Anna could hear her heartbeat. It assured her that she hadn't royally screwed up. But she still knew she had to fix this. They couldn't keep doing this. She blurred to Stefan and sat down on the floor, watching him debate with himself and then finally opening the vial. Maybe we should stick with what we were doing in New York. She said quickly, hoping to get the idea into his head before Elena had a chance to wake up. I know it's crazy, but its not as dangerous as this. I just want you to know the other options are still opened. She was nervous, even she could hear it in her voice. Mostly it was because she felt awful for everything that had happened within the past few seconds, but also because they had yet to discuss what she had told him about their past. She hadn't intended for it to come out the way it did, but he needed to know. They had avoided the conversation since then. Discussing it now, with his passed out girlfriend in between them, probably wasn't the best idea but it didn't matter. She needed to make sure he knew he could still feed from her.
