personality: Azazel is only interested in himself and although he is not necessarily evil, he is willing to let someone suffer if it is what he believes to be his best interest. The man is a believer in Hedonism; the belief that pleasure is the most important aspect of life. Anyone who he finds entertaining, he will consider a friend. At the same time, he is willing to kill someone, just for getting in the way. This fallen angel is very nosy and curious about well everything, wanting to know whatever he can about the world's dealings. He enjoys the american life of sex, drugs, and rock n roll. He prefers to live like people such as Caligula and others like him except without the mental insanity.
Azazel is usually pretty calm and laid-back, but always watching people around him, especially those he finds fascinating though this is is no easy feat, gaining his attention, given his somewhat jaded view on the vast majority of mediocre beings that surround him. To him they're boring because they can be easily manipulated through their wants and desires, their greed. They don't offer much resistance; much less hold any particular mystery or originality that would make them interesting. And so for him, dealing with them is more a game than anything else. Whether it's his underlings, or someone he's messing with, they're only there more for a moments amusement than anything else and once they've served that purpose he doesn't really care what they do. He often acts as if he can't be bothered to reign them in when become a threat usually letting them eventually destroy themselves.

history: As an angel Azazel most of his time on the Earth wandering and enjoying it's pleasures. He held a secret longing to live among the humans forever since the dark dimension was rather boring. His superiors began to see him as a problem when he began giving himself over to flesh rather than spirit and banished him. He was quite happy with his banishment, indulging in every sort of pleasure moral or immoral. He went on to mentor several prominent figures in the ancient world such as Solomon, Caligula, and several other rulers into turning dark. He hated the religions that taught fun as being sinful or any laws and restrictions for that matter.
He began traveling and teaching men to just enjoy their lives rather than try to live up to some idea of good. Eventually these people saw his power and thought of him as some kind of deity, worshiping him which he didn't mind at all. After a few years he became bored of the worship and told them to take a long sea trip until they returned to the same land. Of course he figured they would die at sea and he really didn't care about it. It was their choice to follow him wasn't it?
He began looking for something new to do besides hang around miserable humans who couldn't think for themselves. He ended up settling in Romania where he seated himself with much land and manor. He enjoyed having people attempt to gain his favor by offering him gifts and whatever he desired. He stayed there for most of his life and ended up going away at the year 2000 moving to Richmond.
