Today was one of those days were life just seem to press down on her. She was a vampire and it all was heightened. She remembered the days where she would lay in bed and just wonder she was ever gonna make it out of this town. She lost Jeremy and her brother. Her mother tried to sleep with her ex-boyfriend. She was stuck inside because Stefan doesn't trust her long enough to take a school out into the life that she left behind without killing someone.
Not like she could go out anyway without becoming deep fried. Being a vampire was suppose to be fun but she just felt like taking a stake and jabbing it through her heart. Her insecurities pressing down over her like a weight. She rolled over in her large and comforter bed that belonged to her now in her own room. A room that lacked the presence her old one had. It lacked her.
She was feeling quite self loathing today, Stefan told her that she would have these days but she never thought it would be like this. She shook herself as she rose up, drawing her left knee up. Elena wasn't even over so she could try and eat her. Just great. She narrowed her eyes a moment before slipping off the bed before cocking her head hearing something. Her arrival of dinner, the sun was finally going down and she had ordered take out. A pizza. Yay. She smiled a moment moving from her bedroom into the hallway on bare feet and she heard the knock as if she was in front of the door.
She moved with incredible speed being before the door before the knock could even finish. She ripped the door open grabbing the guy by the collar and yanking him in. She smiled deviously as she allowed her face to convert and bared her fangs. "Just what the doctor ordered. Too bad you're cute?" She said hungrily as she knocked the pizza aside and speed them back against the wall not even caring about the open door as the pizza boy screamed out as she pinned him to the wall moving to bite into his neck.

Stefan's eyes clouded as he headed back to the Salvatore Boarding House in his porsche. It had been a hard day for him. More and more he was starting to crave human blood. But he couldn't touch it. If he did, he'd revert back to the Ripper he had been in eighteen sixty-four. And he couldn't do that. He had been a monster back then and he had promised himself that he would never let him get that bad ever again...especially since he had apparently blocked out most of the twenties while he was a Ripper. He wasn't too sure what had gone down during that era besides a lot of blood and partying. Despite this though, he knew that he hadn't done anything good. He had to admit, it bothered him that he was the only vampire in existence that seemed to be unable to control his bloodlust. I wonder why that is. Everyone else can control it just fine. Why is it so hard for me? he wondered.
When he finally reached his house, the smell of fear reached his nostrils. Uh-oh, he thought and immediately shut the engine, opened the door, and then blurred inside, where he lunged towards Vicki who was about to bite into a pizza deliveryman. "Stop!" he shouted, as he went to pin her against a wall. "Look, I get it---it's the sweetest thing you've ever tasted and you're craving it really bad---but you have to resist, you hear me? You have to be stronger than the bloodlust," he told her. Oh, good one. Look who's talking. You're the one who blacked out in the twenties because of the bloodlust, he chided himself. Okay, so he sounded hypocritcal. But he didn't want what happened to him back then to happen to her. He wasn't sure if she'd ever forgive herself if she experienced a blackout like that.

She could almost taste the blood that she could hear rushing through her senses. She could almost sink her fangs into his neck and drink him down. She wanted it so bad, she was so tired of animals and blood bags. There was just something so addictive and exciting about hunting a human. About listening to that heart beat as it speeds up, the intoxicating scent of fear. She longed for it, she longed to be free and live.
She had nothing to hold onto now so why should she even try. Stefan compelled Matt to believe that she had left Mystic Falls until she had this under control and Jeremy believed that she was dead. Tyler. The thought of him had her blood burning, distracted by the exciting scent of fear and anticipation of finally tasting that rich and delicious taste of blood she hasn't had fresh from the vein since Jeremy.
Though before could even sink her fangs home she was being taken by but the good brother. She scrowled as the teenager scurried away like many of scared rabbits that she let escape and she laughed out before growing suddenly serious and shoving Stefan back or trying too. He was older and stronger. She glared at him and gave him hate filled brown eyes. "I don't care about being stronger. I want him." She shoved at him a little more and struggled. "I want warm fresh blood. I want to feel his life fading down my throat." She finally shoved into his chest this time shoving him back from her.
She moved to the door but the guy was long gone. She slammed the door close turning on Stefan as she allowed her face to shift with her anger. "He fucking got away. God I hate you. Just go away." She shoved past him toward the bar in the living room as she took up a bottle pulling the cap off and drinking down a great amount before moving it from her mouth.
"I want to get out of here. I want to see Matt...I want to stab Tyler in the face! God I want to snap Jeremy's neck!" She growled as she took another drink. "Mmm I miss drugs. I want drugs." She shifted her weight and leaned against the bar with a bored look. "And you can't stop me. I will feed from who I want. I will go see who I want. I didn't have a father alive and don't have one now."

Stefan knew that she was upset with him for stopping her from feeding on the pizza deliveryman and she proved it as she shoved him back, saying that she didn't care about being stronger, she just wanted her victim---his blood---and to feel his life fading down her throat. Oh, man. She's just described what I fight every single day, he thought to himself. He knew how it felt to want the blood so much that you didn't care how you got it or who you hurt, but he couldn't let Vicki go down that path. He wasn't sure if she'd ever forgive herself if she lost control. He grunted as he hit the wall. Dang. Strong little thing, he thought to himself. "I get it, Vicki. Believe me---I do. Watching the light fade from your victim's eyes as you drain the last drop of blood from their body---it's euphoric. You feel powerful. You want it all the time," he stated. He wasn't going to lie to her or sugarcoat what she was feeling. It was a natural craving. A part of him felt bad for what he was putting her through, but if he could keep her from getting so consumed by the bloodlust that she ended up blacking out for an entire decade, it'd be worth it. He could never forget his feeling of confusion and alarm that he had felt when he had been in that speakeasy. He hadn't even remembered stepping foot in the place. And there was no way he was going to let Vicki get so bad that she would end up like that.
When she realized that her victim had gotten away, she yelled that she hated him and shoved past him, grabbing a liquor bottle and taking a long drink. When she was done, she stated that she wanted to get out to see Matt, stab Tyler in the face, and snap Jeremy's neck. "I thought you cared about Jeremy. Is he really just another insignificant human to you?" Stefan queried, feeling a certain amount of concern. Had she given up on Jeremy? Or was she just hurt over something? He had to focus on the parts of her personality that made her human. And caring about Matt and Jeremy had been a part of that, though he could certainly understand the hate for Tyler. He had seen them together a couple of times and the guy had been a dick to her. But Jeremy...why didn't she care about him anymore?
Then, she went on to say that she missed drugs and that she wanted them, adding that he couldn't stop her, that she could feed on who she wanted whenever she wanted, ending by telling him that she hadn't had a father when she was alive and that she didn't have one now. "No, but you do have a friend," he told her. "I know you think I'm being harsh with you, but it's because I know what can happen. I let the bloodlust consume me. I became a monster. All I wanted was the blood. I didn't care who I hurt or what I did. I saw humans as playthings. It got bad, Vicki. The bloodlust consumed me so much that I blacked out for the entire twenties. The last thing I remember is meeting up with Damon in nineteen twelve. Do you really want that to happen to you? Do you want to find yourself in a bar or a club or even someone's house and not know how you got there?" he asked, his voice going a bit hard. "It's not a good feeling, Vick. It's like---a bad trip---multiplied by a thousand," he told her. Again, he wasn't going to sugarcoat anything and this was the only analogy he could think of that would make sense to her.

It wasn't that Vicki doesn't trust Stefan, she did. Yet it was his sense of stability, his desire to truly help her that kept throwing her off. Her whole life she had no one but Matt. Not even her mother and her father was pretty much nonexistent. So to suddenly have that thing in her life, this thing that could actually work and make her better. It terrified her and she wasn't good with the whole living by rules and doing what was expected of her. Maybe that was why Tyler never wanted her apart of his world. Why she felt he was ashamed of her.
After all he couldn't even introduce her to his own mother. She had wanted so much just to fit in and still do now. Yet it all seemed just unimportant now. She could be who she wanted, she could do what she wanted. She doesn't need to live up to anyone's standards but her own. She looked quite satisfied when Stefan had connected with the wall and gave a feisty smile. "Maybe I do is that so bad? Maybe I want to hurt them. Just like they hurt me for years. I'll enjoy yanking that up tight stick further up their uptight ass." She smiled a dangerous smile.
"Kinda poetic." She cocked her head circling him almost now like an animal that was caged and ready to pounce. She arched a brow at him, was he trying to put her in his shoes. "Stefan. I don't care about your sad past life. Boo hoo. You killed. You're a vampire. I'm a vampire. We kill. I don't want to change." She was stubborn as a mule and she wasn't gonna roll over because he wanted her too. She wasn't gonna be a good little vampire and live by his rules. "Why should I control it? No one in this town can take us. We're strong. I never felt more full of live. Hell I thought love was good...I was wrong." She gave an addictive smile.
Her features weakened from that stubborn spontaneous smile as Stefan spoke of her feelings for Jeremy. Her eyes softened that warm tingling sensation that he brought in her caused her stomach to flip flop. Then she rememembered that Jeremy doesn't remember his love for her anymore. Damon made him forget her and her eyes hardened, her look changing to hatred. "Cared for him. Please he was fun and got entirely too clingy. Oh yeah and Damon compelled him to forget me. He's significant enough to eat so no." She said toying with him now as she shrugged her shoulders. "What did you expect? Just love isn't as strong as I thought."
She took another drink, this one longer. She moaned a little at the burn and spun around a little slowly stalking toward him taking on a sensual look all full of fun and desire. "Maybe you should stop being so boring and have a little fun." She leaned toward him brushing the tip of the bottle against his lips and meeting his eyes. "Bet you can be just as fun as Damon?" She gave a bit of her lip and moved back from him finishing half of the bottle now.
Turning from him and rubbing her hand down her body with a groan of excitement and arousal. "I don't know how you keep it all under control. I feel on fire and so alive and free." She almost laughed happily and slightly hopped on light feet to the bar grabbing another brand of poison. She stopped a little at his words, her eyes weakening a moment. She remembered those days well. Where she would drink or drug herself into oblivion and wake up with hours maybe even days lost sometimes.
She turned her head to the side a little as if she was listening to him and then she slowly turned. She looked serious a moment and slowly moved to him to stop in front of him staring into his eyes. "My whole life has been one bad trip, Stefan. And I'm tired of believing it can be something other then that." She let those words linger a moment before she finally shook her head. "I'm not running anymore. I'm free. I finally feel alive."

Stefan grunted as he hit the wall and watched as a satisfied smile graced her features as she stated that maybe she did want to hurt people and went on to ask if it was so bad as they had hurt her for years and then went on to say that she would enjoy yanking the stick up their rears---to put it delicately. Which she hadn't. Nope. She hadn't been delicate at all. "You're angry and hurt at the way they treated you. I get that," he said. Boy, did he ever. As a human, he had resented the fact that his father's name could cause people to overlook his outward sins and that his charm could deflect anyone from finding out the secret sins. After he had turned, this had all been magnified and that coupled with his anger over Katherine's "death" had caused him to strike out at the Founding Families. "You want to make them pay for how they treated you, but really, what difference would it make? You could play with their heads a little, make them experience everything you did, but you eventually get bored and decide to kill them. But it doesn't help. The crappy feeling you have over the way you were treated doesn't go away and on top of that, you'll have guilt over what you did," he told her. And it was true. He had taken his vengeance on the select people for what he had perceived as injustices and it hadn't changed a thing. Oh, it had been fun for a while, and he still laughed at the memory of one of the things he had done back then, but in the long run, it hadn't changed a thing. The memories and the feelings of resentment had still been there. Torturing and killing his victims hadn't changed a thing.
He had thought that if he shared a little of his past with her that she'd know that he understood everything that she was feeling, but she just brushed it off, saying that they were vampires and that it was in their nature to kill, adding that she didn't want to change as they were stronger than everyone else and that she had thought love was good but that she was wrong. "Love is good, but you have to remember that there are different types of love. The love you feel for Matt is different than the love you feel for Jeremy," he pointed out. Love was also considered a vampire's greatest weakness at times which was why the majority of vampires shut their humanity off at one point or another, but he wasn't about to tell her that. She needed to feel everything, though he wouldn't let her dwell on her negative feelings if he could help it.
For a moment, Stefan had thought he had gotten through to Vicki as it was obvious that mentioning Jeremy had struck a chord in her, but then she brushed it off, saying that it had just been fun and that he had been compelled to forget about her, so he was just significant enough to eat. "That's a good front. But I saw your face. You still care about him," he told her. "And why Damon compelled him that way, I don't know. But you shouldn't punish Jeremy for something that's not even his fault," he pointed out. He remembered from experience with Katherine that the compulsion filled your senses---overwhelmed you---and unless you had Vervain on hand or in your system there was no fighting it.
He then watched as she took a longer drink. He wasn't normally one to allow a minor to drink in excess like this, but as long she was drinking, she wasn't feeding on someone so in this case, this was the lesser evil. He then shook his head with some amusement as she told him to stop being so boring and have a little fun, adding that she bet that he could be just as fun as his brother. "You have no idea," he told her, flashing her an uncharacteristic smirk. Of course, that didn't mean that he was about to let loose like she was suggesting. If he did, he ran the risk of the Ripper taking over like it had after he first turned, and he wasn't about to let that happen again.
When she told him that she didn't know how he kept everything under control as she was feeling alive and free, he smiled at her. "All of your senses are heightened. It can take some getting used to," he told her as she got herself another drink. Especially if you don't have anyone helping you, he mused to himself. Oh, he had Lexi after they had met, but she hadn't met him directly after his change, but a few weeks, and in the weeks that he had been alone, it had been pretty much a "Learn-as-you-go" kind of a thing. Which really sucked.
Then his eyes clouded as she told him that her whole life had been one bad trip and that she was tired of believing that it could be anything other than that. "Yeah, it's easy to give up," he agreed. "I know that there were times that I wanted to," he continued. He had felt trapped under his father and there were many times that he had contemplated just throwing it all away, but he had always found a way out of the darkness and he was going to help Vicki find her way out of her own darkness. When she stated that she wasn't running anymore because she was free and that she finally felt alive he smiled at her. "And that's a good feeling isn't it? I'm not saying you can't feel what you feel, such as the hurt, the rage, and the feeling of vengeance---but you don't want to dwell on them. Focus on something that would make you happy...like Matt for example. You've always cared about him and he's always cared about you. He knows the real you---the you that's hiding behind the drugs and the boys. Let that you shine through, not the facade that everyone else thinks they know. The best revenge is proving everyone else wrong," he encouraged. If he could get her to remember that she had people who cared about her, they'd have something to work with.
OOC Don't feel as if you have match my word length.

Vicki shifted her head in annoyance as she felt as if Stefan was just trying to get inside of her head. He was guy, he only wanted one thing. He just wanted to control her or use her. She thought of Tyler at this and caused a small snarl to turn her lips to the side slightly as her face contorted a little into that all familiar monstrous look as she shook her head with a small forming smile. "Do you? You get me?" She asked as she gave fake innocent and sweet big brown eyes as she slipped closer toward him.
She moved her hands up his chest pressing up against him. "You're just like every other guy, Stefan. You're nothing but a play toy. You want to help me. Why? Because your brother turned me? Because you love me? Because I'm Elena's little brother's booty call. Why?" She asked as she slipped around him, her hand moving with her as she grabbed his ass before she was gone with a playful laugh. She clearly doesn't want to talk about her human life and the despair of being the outsider that she was.
Yet she couldn't keep him out of her head, couldn't stop listening to him. She doesn't turn to face him as she toyed with a few bottles at the bar seemingly to not be listening to him but she was. Would killing them make her feel better? She never took a life before, even the guy she fed on had been dead. Or dieing anyway. Could she take a life? She could just close her eyes and touch the memories of her life as a human.
The times where she felt never good enough, never pretty enough. Never good enough for Tyler. Never smart enough for school. She felt stupid now having worried so much over fitting in, rolling over Elena and Matt's feelings over her relationship with Jeremy. She was her own person now and she came to the conclusion that killing them all would be freeing. It would make her feel better. For all the pain that they caused her. All the pain that Tyler caused her.
She thought of Jeremy and felt that consuming love and happiness that he made her feel and she shivered noticeably. Her skin tingling almost with the sensation, her heartbeat speeding up and her a nervous bite of her lip. She turned and looked at Stefan. "Stefan. Shut up." She spoke with annoyance as she shifted her hip and placed a hand on her waist as she stared him down. "God you are so annoying. I don't care. I don't care about these people. These people made her feel like shit. Like crap. Like I was nothing. My own boyfriend was ashamed of me. And a total kid, a total amazing and sweet and brave kid...was the only person that cared about me other then my brother. So why...why should I give a damn about them. They're nothing but food."
She looked almost craved as she focused on that anger she felt, that pain and hatred as she moved tossing the bottle in her hand shattering it against the wall. She was panting now and looking rageful. She blinked a few times stopping herself with a few gathering breaths as she slowly looked back to him. For a moment, her look was 'help me'. But a beat of a moment later she pulled back and shook her head. "I'm not like you. I can't just forgive and forget. I can't move on. She finally added as she crossed her arms a little.
Love. What do I know about love? Truthfully, she was scared of love. She doesn't understand it. She felt unlike herself in love. Jeremy made her feel safe and loved, needed. Yet she thought of Tyler and she felt pain, despair and yet incredible happiness. She felt sure of what they had, she knew where they were. She knew what they expected of each other and she knew ultimately that Tyler would never hurt her that he was an asshole yet he was her asshole and part of her enjoyed his protectiveness and dangerous edge.
Yet another part of her would kill for how Jeremy made her feel. She looked at Stefan a moment and she shook her head. "Did why won't you let me see Matt. I can control myself. I wouldn't hurt him." She spoke bitterly yet she had tried to hurt Jeremy and yet she had stopped herself from hurting Matt. Was that what he meant? She couldn't bare thinking of hurting her little brother and Jeremy had just smelled so good. He made her feel so alive and she just lost control.
She gave Stefan a stubborn look and crossed her arms more tightly looking unimpressed as he called her out on her feelings for Jeremy. Did she still love him? Yes. She looked down a moment and she closed her eyes softly, face frowning a moment as she listened to him. She opened her eyes slowly looking up at him and glaring a moment. "Jeremy done moved on. I know about Anna." She snarled the name and gave a roll of her eyes. "So when I think of what he could have had I get angry. When I think of him I just want to make him pay. I want to stab her in the heart and then finally snap his neck. So Stefan what the point in this?"
She gave a playful smile as she arched a brow at his words. She slipped her arm around his neck and pressing into the curve of his body perfectly as if she was so at home against men. She enjoyed men and she enjoyed the attention. She missed Tyler, hell she missed Jeremy. She felt that need wash over her like a wave and how alive just the touch of his body made her feel. She has yet to really experience all the perks of being a vampire. Stefan had been keeping a close eye on her and keeping her from Damon's influence so she could do it his way. Well his way was hell and she doesn't know how much longer she's gonna try it.
"Well then...show me." She teased as she made a sound against his body before shoving him to his chest moving in a rush of speed taking him back against the couch as she smirked needingly. Moving her hands up chest with a moan. Was she attractive to Stefan? No. Did she love sex? Yes. Did she need it? Hell yes. "You want me to focus on something? Something good. Other then the rage and anger, the pain. Fine." She shook her head with a moan as she tried to move her hands to his belt. She gave a horny smile. "Don't wanna get use to it. Get that through your head. She purred the words as she moved licking up the side of his neck.
She groaned as he started speaking again, her eyes clouding over with discomfort and annoyance. She sat up on his lap and she searched his eyes. She frowned a moment at him and then slowly relaxed a little as she looked a little vulnerable. She slowly sighed and doesn't know what to do. "Okay..." She was tired of him nagging her and it couldn't hurt to try right. Matt was her brother, he was family. They have been through it all together. She closed her eyes a moment, her mind taking in all the memories of her times with Matt. The laughter, the pain and finally the love.
She seemed to calm a little as she slowly opened her eyes. Feeling less angry, more in control and herself. The anger she felt over life in general was lesser. Matt needed her. She needed him. He couldn't go through it all alone. "I want to go see him." She said finally as she looked down and finally smirked in a suggestive manner. "Yet we could continue." She pressed down a little in her skimpy black panties against him. Yet she was still Vicki though. "And don't expect me to stick to your bunny diet. And why now feed on humans when I can just compell them to forget. We can do anything." That wild nature still there strong and true.

Stefan hadn't entirely expected his words to get through to Vicki as he couldn't relate to everything she had been through of course, and from the looks of things, it hadn't penetrated, though she tried to fake it, asking if he really got her as she stepped closer to him. "Obviously I can't relate to everything you've been through, but yeah...I get you," he told her. Then, he tensed slightly as she pressed against him and let her hands move up his chest, saying that he was like every other guy---nothing but a play toy. "Cut it out," he said, taking a step back. What was she playing at? He wasn't going to just break down because she made a move on him. Then, she asked him why he was helping her, wondering if it was because Damon had turned her, if it was because he loved her, or if it was because she was involved with Jeremy. "I'm helping you because you shouldn't have to go through the process alone like Damon and I did," he replied. Before he knew what was happening, she had moved around him, grabbed him in a sensitive area, and then darted away with a laugh. Oh, why didn't I pour myself a drink first? he wondered, rubbing his head. It felt like he was about to get a headache. Could a vampire even get a headache the normal way? He made a mental note to ask Anna about it the next time he saw her. Hopefully she'd answer...after she stopped laughing of course. Because he had a feeling that she would be laughing at this situation if she were here.
And Vicki was back to her negative feelings again, telling him to shut up and that he was annoying, adding that everyone had treated her badly, making her feel poorly about herself, and that her own boyfriend had been ashamed of her, punctuating her anger by throwing the bottle across the room. Damon was gonna kill him. That was one of his favorite brands. "Maybe you just had the wrong boyfriend at the time," he interjected as he internally winced. Okay, maybe his statement was a little biased as he wasn't the biggest fan of Tyler Lockwood, but still...it had to be said. She then went on about how the only people who had cared about her had been Matt and Jeremy, and then asked again why she should care about everyone else. "Okay, let's just forget about Jeremy and everybody else right now. Let's just focus on Matt," he suggested. From what she was saying, Matt was the one person that she really cared about. Oh, Vicki still cared about Jeremy, but the thought of him was causing conflicting emotions in her, which was making Stefan's job infinitely harder. For a moment, he watched as her emotions became displayed on her face as she spat out that she wasn't like him, that she couldn't forgive and forget. "Who said anything about forgiving? Just let it go. They aren't worth your energy," he told her as she took a few calming breaths and her features returned to normal. "Good job. You got yourself under control," he complimented. That could be hard at times, especially when you were newly turned.
At her question of why she couldn't see Matt as she insisted that she could control herself, Stefan ran his fingers through his hair. She had a point. True, she had tried to hurt Jeremy, but that had been different. It wasn't just the vampire part of her that had been acting on impulse, it was her human nature that had wanted him too. "If you feel that you can control yourself around Matt, I can bring him here. I know you'd rather go to the Grill, but there would still be a lot of people there, and I wouldn't want you to get overwhelmed or do too much too soon," he offered. He knew that it wasn't much, but it was clear that she was starting to feel cooped up in here, and maybe if he met her in the middle, she'd be more receptive to what he was saying. Besides, she had just managed to get her rage under control with no help from him, so maybe she was more ready than he had originally thought.
Okay, it was definitely time to stop bringing up Jeremy. He could tell by the way she spoke about him, saying that he had moved on and that she knew about Anna and that when she thought about them, she got angry, wanting to stab Anna in the heart and snap Jeremy's neck. "Okay, just forget about Jeremy at this point. Focus on Matt," he told her. He knew that she would eventually have to focus on her anger and hurt regarding the whole situation but this wasn't the time. Her emotions were all over the place, continually flip-flopping from one feeling to the other and he was trying to get her to focus on just one. "The point to everything is to help you to get enough control of your emotions and the bloodlust so that you can go out and visit the people you love. Like Matt," he replied. Keep her focused on Matt. Bring it all back to Matt, he reminded herself. Her brother was the closest tie she had to her human life, however crappy it may have been. He knew that Matt cared about Vicki and would want to help her, but he couldn't. He didn't know that his sister had been turned into a vampire.
He wasn't sure if she was listening to him or not, but from the way she was acting, he was thinking not as she had just slipped an arm around his neck and had pressed against him, telling him in a teasing voice to show her what he meant before shoving him onto the couch in a rush. "Vicki, I'm not that kind of guy," he told her, trying to keep from stiffening. He wasn't used to this kind of forcefulness and he didn't like it one little bit. That wasn't to say that he hadn't been this close with Elena, but that was different. It was Elena. She just always seemed to know how to initiate their intimacy without causing him to freak out. She then went on saying that if he wanted her to focus on something good she would. "I'm serious, Vicki. I'm not that kind of guy and you're better than this," he said firmly, moving back even as she reached for his belt. This was getting really uncomfortable and even though he had never hit a girl before, he was comtemplating doing just that if it would stop her from manhandling him. When she told him that she didn't want to get used to the heightened senses, he looked at her. "If you don't let yourself get used to the intensity of your emotions, they will overwhelm you," he warned, trying to get her back to what they had discussing, even as she leaned forward, licking his neck. Don't freak, don't freak. You can handle this, he thought to himself. He had kept his cool in the same situation many times a hundred and forty-one years ago, he could do it again.
After telling her to focus, she sat up and closed her eyes. From the look on her face, it was obvious that she was letting in every emotion that she had ever felt. He watched her silently, not wanting to break her focus. Finally, she reopened her eyes and he could sense that she was more in control of herself. "That's good. That's really good," he told her and then she said she wanted to see Matt. "Okay," he agreed. Yeah, he was probably at the Grill where a ton of other people were, but she seemed to be calm and besides, maybe it would do her some good to get out of the house for a bit. She had done really good, so this could be like a...reward...for lack of a better term. She then once more pressed against him, saying that they could continue what they were doing and that he shouldn't expect her to stick to his bunny diet as they were vampires who could compel humans to forget anything. "Let's go see Matt," Stefan said, starting to sit up, which would then in theory cause the girl to fall to the floor. Okay, a bit rude, but it was necessary. He decided to ignore her comment about feeding as he had just gotten her to focus on Matt. One fight at a time, Stefan. One fight at a time, he reminded himself. Not that they were actually fighting, but...they could deal with the feeding habits later. Right now, he had a newly turned vampire to take to see her still-human brother.
