Anna sauntered into the grill and sat at the far end of the bar, she was so small that in the darkness, she was easily overlooked. Get me a Cranberry & vodka. She compelled the bartender with ease. She had a lot to figure out now that she was back. No one she had seen questioned her being back, but Jeremy would. Anna groaned into her drink. She felt so guilty for making him think she died. But she had to. She knew from what John had said that night that he wouldn't give up. He would find her and kill her if it was the last thing he did. Damon gave her the all clear last week and she just got back from France, her go-to when she needs to run. Him and Stefan were the only ones that knew. Hopefully, no one else will ever know that piece of the puzzle. Now to figure out how to tell Jeremy.... Mikael walked into the grill. He had just gotten off of work after coming from football practice after going to school. Needless to say he was exhausted, he decided to get a drink. Yes he was underage but luckily like most high schools in america being on the football team at Mystic Falls had it's advantages, something Robert had made abundantly clear years ago. He walked straight to the bar, his Timberwolves hat turned backwards and his jeans and white t-shirt made him look young but he knew the bartender wouldn't even flinch. "Jack please. Actually make it a double." When he sat down he noticed there was a girl in the seat next to him. He hadn't even noticed her until he was almost on top of her, this made him jump.
Michael was embarassed and tried to hide that fact. But he knew he would have to speak, it would be rude not to. "Hi. I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." he tried to smile but he knew it was coming out goofy. Which meant creepy. Which meant he had to stop. Now. He wiped his smile away as the bartender brought him his drink, he nodded thanking the man and took his shot. Tapping the bar in hopes for another. He put the glass down and turned back to the girl. "I must ask, are you hiding or trying to be alone. Either way I can't be helping"

Anna ducked her head. This guy made her laugh. He was awkward, but in an extremely cute way, and it took her mind off her troubles for a bit. Uhmm, let's call it stalling. Something I shouldn't be doing. Looks like you have some problems of your own? She grinned as he requested another drink. She downed her drink and handed her glass to the bartender when he returned.
Another was slid in front of her shortly and she took in her new friend. He was cute, someone she definitely would have had a good time with a year ago. She could tell he was a jock by the way he was dressed, but he seemed nice, not like most of the guys at their school.
He reminds me of Tristan. Anna mused to herself. Tristan was handsome, too, and super shy. It always entertained Anna when they would be with their friends and Tristan would stumble over his words trying to talk to a girl. They were almost always together and all her friends used to tell her how perfect Tristan was if he'd just speak up. Anna was willing to bet this mystery man was the exact same.[/tt]
