* MISTY RENEE FEY !
Oh, tear ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
full name: Misty Renee Fey
nicknames: Mist, Missy, Misery
date of birth: January 12th
date of change: ONLY FILL OUT IF VAMPIRE!
hometown: Rochester, New York
species: Witch
abilities:
Elemental Magic - Misty dabbles in this, seeing as her mother was strong in elemental as well as Asher, who taught her. She is best when it comes to earth elemental magic, being able to perform good tactical fighting moves and defensive moves with the given element. Misty isn't the best at it as she has been doing magic for a short time.
Spell-Casting - She isn't the strongest in this either, with a 50/50 chance of the spell working correctly. There are a select few spells that she can definitely perform. There is a lot of room for improvement here.
Conjuration - Misty can conjure very small items as of right now; how very fortunate of her to be a fast learner. She has the ability to conjure very small animals like rodents and birds. Nothing bigger.
Pain Infliction - Asher was adept at this and taught her the slimmest bit, of which she's learning off of and developing as well as her other abilities. She can give someone a small, sharp pain or a lasting headache. Not really developed that well.

personality: Words to describe Misty: Blunt. Stubborn. Rebellious. Anything towards that note works. She's not one for sugarcoating anything; if you want an honest answer, Misty will be sure to give you one. And when she makes a decision, if you plan on changing her mind, you better have some pretty solid arguments because she likes it her way over any other. Her purpose, pretty much, is to get a good laugh or make the best out of what she's got; more specifically to make other people laugh or be entertained. If you really get to know Misty, then you see a laid-back person who often makes witty jokes and is one to make a group laugh. Even by doing embarrassing public stunts. Misty is mischievous, always seemingly one step ahead but never giving herself credit. She also finds it entertaining to imitate, very much to imitate others' weird accents. And, might I add, she is quite good at it.
At first, you'd never expect Misty to hurt a fly, just to be a pretty little doll face. But when you start to discover the personality of Misty, then you see a very boisterous and loud girl who makes fun out of everything. She pays no mind to any sort of authority figure unless they represent some impact on her life (pretty much none). Or she wants to impress them. Rules were made to be broken; that's her virtue. She does what she wants. Misty, a bit further in depth, seems very strong and persevering. Anybody takes a jab at her, she'll jab back twice as hard. An eye for an eye is another favorite saying of hers. However, Misty is not one to think of herself highly. In fact, she is very low in the self-esteem department. She is very self-conscious and still believes what the bullies in middle school told her. It's a bit of a problem. Misty is a bit naive when it comes to thoughts on other people, not on her own beliefs, and is liable to be duped very easily by people she's never met before. Sometimes she gets very jumbled. When her mind gets heavy, though, she likes to sit back and play a bit of piano or tenor saxophone. For her it's very calming.
Despite the strong, hardcore persona she gives herself, she is in reality fragile. She's afraid of being alone. That's what she fears most: having to face her inner demons without assistance, left to wallow in her own despair. That's why she likes to be so friendly and make people want to be somehow interconnected with her (not those narcissists or vampires). The more friends she has the less likely she is to end up by herself. Misty hates being useless as well. Not being of use is torture for her. She has a caring heart underneath all the tough girl outside. For people close to her you can see examples of kindness and genuine humor. Misty's also got a little soft spot for kids. Outside of that she seems very like one of those troublemakers you see in class.
Whenever anybody tries an attempt at flirting with her, she either waves it off or just ignores them. She doesn't really believe in love, but just a strong physical attraction. That's what happened with her mom and dad, and that's what she believes in now. As if she wasn't already complicated enough without relationships. Sure, Misty thinks some boys are hot, but not enough to sway her to have a huge crush on them. That would just be creating even more internal conflict. That of which, she doesn't need more of. Misty is perfectly fine trying to stay solo until she finds out who the heck she is and what she's supposed to do. When, or if, somebody finds interest in her, they'd have to try extremely hard to sway her decision, which is going nowhere as of now. She's extremely unorganized whenever it comes to that kind of thing. Despite that, however, she knows where pretty much everything is in her apartment. Misty has no problem being in a sea of people, it's being in solitude she fears. Since she doesn't really have close friends and people experience, she is very confused about how to react like a normal person would. Misty happens to snap very easily. She's like a ticking time bomb, ready to explode from the inside.

history:
Born of a couple who only lasted as long as they did because the wife was a gold-digger, Misty grew up the only child of an American dad in Rochester, New York. Her mother, a promiscuous model who swooped in like a vulture, up and left while leaving her behind after getting a sufficient amount from her dad. It was at first a one night stand that evolved into a wedding. Their relationship was based off a physical attraction that grew into a quest for money, and then ripped in two when her mother moved out of state. Because her dad talked with no New York accent at all, Misty, too, grew up without an accent. Soon it became a hobby of hers to frequently mimic other people's accents when they had one that differed from hers. It helped brighten the mood a little bit, and then Misty entered school.
She was a bright child, but she distanced herself from her father. He acted close before. However, when Misty entered school he began acting as if she were a disease. He hardly ever talked to her or even made contact with her. Misty was confused but she learned how to live with this. He still bought her food & clothing; other than that, her existence was pretty much nothing. In the 3rd grade she started getting bullied for an unknown reason. Gradually it began to get worse, like a landslide gaining ground until in the 4th grade, where it was complete chaos. She began getting physically bullied as well. She managed to keep her grades good but her self-esteem and personality were demolished. Pretty soon, however, she learned of an aunt and uncle who were going to take her in. She felt scared and happy: that meant a new school and a new start. That also meant that she could have an opportunity to become bullied again.
Misty had no idea of the reasons for them taking her in until it was a bit late. Her father was experiencing depression and had a worsening condition. He was sent to the hospital. Right after Misty was shipped off to her aunt & uncle's house, he died of a heart attack. She never knew until she was thirteen when her aunt finally broke it to her. Misty cried, just a little bit. The most she had ever cried despite not crying a lot. Her aunt and uncle promised that they'd help her get better and that this was going to be a much better opportunity to have a better life there.
When she reentered school, it was in the 6th grade. This time, she wanted to make an impact, that way she couldn't be bullied again. So Misty swayed in a new direction: comedy. She became louder and often talked back to the teachers, who were fine with her good grades but upset with the way she acted. She made others laugh and she was respected by most. Misty felt proud of herself. It continued like this in the same direction, Misty getting more respect than bruises. So she went through a transformation. She became more outspoken and made clever comments and jokes. And her reputation was much better than that of her old school.
Right before she started 7th grade Aunt Bridge & Uncle Perry decided to move. It was a lot less harder this time since she didn't really have anybody she truly connected with, and this time she had nothing to fear. She knew how to do things. So it was when she moved to Mystic Falls that a lot changed. Misty still kept her personality, but it was this time around that she learned she was a witch. She was approached by a cousin on her mother's side named Asher. He was the one who guided her though simple techniques and spells and taught her just more than the basics quickly and effectively. Asher was very important in her life as of high school and was like a lifeboat for Misty. Pretty soon Asher simpled up the lessons and they became less frequent, and then he subsided into the background seeing as Misty was starting to learn on her own and becoming more advanced. She still manages to keep her bad-boy-ish, rebellious, and comedic perks, but you know, knowing she's a witch now is a lot more help than you'd think.

Chrysanthemum sighed, relentlessly trekking through the snow with her combat boots, feeling the coldness of the snow seep through the seams and freezing her feet. Her hoodie was tied around her waist; she didn't feel a need for it despite her fickle taste of weather. Combing through her hair with her hands, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath in, running through everything in her mind. Antonio had gone alone to try and find something, Rico and Harvey had each other and the same aim as Antonio, and Xavier and herself were undecided in what to do. Today, she was taking a walk to clear her head. They said that this is the place where the packs roam, but Chrysanthemum had no care whatsoever; she was confident in her abilities to handle it. In the least, her siblings should be nearby... right? Hopefully... She puffed up her cheeks and used one hand to squish them, squeezing the air out through her puckered lips. It was a habit she started at a very young age. It meant she was very frustrated, or trying to calm herself, or simply thinking. "Ugh. Why is everything so messed up?" she muttered, kicking a rock into a tree. The sound echoed and a couple of birds fluttered out of the tree's branches. She was being careless; there could have been anybody who heard that. But then again, she didn't care. She was frustrated, saddened, and lost.
Though her father's death was many years ago, she was still torn about it. How people let go of lost ones, she didn't understand that. Sure, maybe he was in heaven or something, but he wasn't here. Where she needed him. He had been the shifter in the family, and somehow managed to hide it, but he could have helped them out. Well, technically he did with his large wealth left behind, but... It was complicated. Chrysanthemum missed her daddy dearly. However, after CPS came for them, she and Xavier had overcome their sadness and put the family first. Now, she guessed, all that pain she held back was crashing down on her.
Chrysanthemum paused, a foreign smell floating towards her. It was that of other shifters, but they had one concentrated scent, one that was new to her. She hadn't realized until now. In her deep thought, she sensed something strange, but no, she had to continue missing her dad. Lately, it started reoccurring because her family had went different ways. Maybe she'd start to stop thinking about her dad and focus on her current ties, and this strange new territory. Try and be the opposite of what she had been just now, every day. Kind of like how she played Opposite Day with her brothers all the time... Darn it! She already became all soulful and wistful.
She took a couple more cautious steps, then heard something cracking. A puzzled look took on her face for a moment as she looked around, trying to identify where the noise was coming from. It was too late as she looked down, the ice beneath her crumbling as she was submerged underwater. Crap. Crap. Crap. She couldn't swim. The source of water she had fallen into was quite wide, and deeper than she was tall. She flailed aimlessly, trying to find something to hold onto but she continued to sink. Thoughts ran through her mind frantically, the main one being I'm going to drown.
