Jesse can be as kind and friendly as they come retaining a very cheerful nature. He has a strong sense of justice not letting people get harmed for no reason. To him anyone who treats a person poorly and enjoys it deserves death of the cruelest manner. This is not always a good way of thinking since it can cause some huge repercussions. He has a special skill to make people smile even when they're feeling down, something that usually makes him a good friend to others. He enjoys meeting new people and making new buddies along the way in his life.
Although he appears to be immovably kind there is a side to him that, when provoked, is wrathful and very self entitled. Having the blood of an angel coursing through his veins he often finds other supernatural beings to be less than him. Even some humans he treats as a lower life form, though since he is half human he tends to treat them with a little more respect.
Jesse values personal freedoms, if someone wants to smoke weed or drink then that's their thing and not his to intervene. He believes that we all have a major role to play in this world, some good and some bad, but there is a price for every decision we make. When it comes to things like vampires he understands their need to feed. To him it's no different than a human's need to eat food, if it's wrong for a vampire to kill humans for survival then why can human kill animals and other humans for the same reason and run off free. To him that doesn't add up so he tends to show vampire hunters or supernatural hunters in general his angry side. At one point in his life he hunted vampires and werewolves and is often plagued by these memories.
