ALL I WANT IS A LITTLE OF THE GOOD LIFE
all i need is to have a good time
School was getting to him, the home life was getting to him, and it was apparent he just need to escape it all. This whole past month was full of disappointing problems and he had no control of himself. Tyler normally wasn't so aggressive, but he had got himself suspended twice for fighting. It just seemed like the smallest things would send him flying into rushes of rage. The thing that bothered him most was the fact he was losing his friends over his new behavior. Tyler was popular his whole life, he was creative, fairly smart but now he had lost himself.
This being the reason he had contacted Uncle Mason earlier this week. Family were the ones you hated but adored. He had always got along with his uncle, but he hadn't seen him in years. Getting wind that he was in town it sounded like a good reason to have a reunion. Tyler nor Mason were really the whole big family party, type. It was just better going up to the wood, where they used to when Ty was younger. The great outdoors, a rack of beers, some fishing and overall a camping experience. Traveling a distance from town, getting away from all the lights and drama sounded refreshing in it's entirety.
After loading up the car with all the necessities, tent, sleeping bags, food, fishing poles, tackle boxes, live bait, and other miscellaneous things he got in his SUV and put on his sun glasses. Quickly he text his mother telling her he'd be away for the night, and not to worry about him. Overall she probably would, but at least he gave her a heads up. Tyler pulled out of the drive way looking over the Lockwood mansion once more. As much as he loved home, he despised it as well. On the road it was. Ty put on some music, and just drove for what felt like a couple hours. The woods was a nice place that often brought him peace. A couple weekends ago he drove up here to enjoy the nature and animals.
Soon enough he was at the meeting camp grounds, and he pulled into the large parking lot and got out of the car. Ty stretched and walked around the back of the truck and started to unload the things. He had told uncle Mason to grab the beers, for the evening due to the fact he didn't feel like sending anyone in the store for him. Sometimes he hated being under age, but it was all good. The sound of an exhaust pipe caused him to smile and he watched uncle Mason pull into the lot. "I wasn't sure if I packed too much junk, but you never know what you're going to need out in the wilderness." Tyler commented offering a light smile. It was nice seeing someone he hadn't in a while, as he gestured for a brotherly hug. After that was through he looked Mason up and down. "Seven years and you haven't changed much Mace." Tyler said keeping his ice breakers rolling. Last time he saw Mason he was still a boy, so a bunch of memories were playing through his head.
