* GINGER RENEE BELROSE !
If you leave it up to me I'll make a lie out of the truth
And then I'll break it up, make it bleed
Tell you that it's you not me
Make a scene, add a show just because the wind blows
Shoot myself in the foot to make a point I can't prove
That's just my signature move

full name: Ginger Renee Belrose

Healing: Fairies have the ability to cure broken or withered plants; wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and even diseases and restore the emotions and spirits of others.
Photokinesis: Fairies have the ability to project and control light and nature. Fairies are the only species shown to possess this power. A Fae with this ability can channel nature through their body and project it in a concentrated and powerful blast of light which seems to manifest as kinetic force, conclusively throwing or repelling objects a considerable distance. Most fairies use this ability to attack an enemy. Can also be used as a generated light source
Mesmerization: Fairies can make humans do their bidding. The fairy only needs to have eye contact in order to seize your mind with a simple phrase or change in tone of voice.
Chlorokinesis: Fairies can manipulate vegetation. Fairies can grow plants to enormous proportions in nearly any environment, and use them as weapons that can grab and attack with vines and roots, grow or retract thorns.
Superhuman Strength: Fairies are much stronger than any human. They're strong enough to toss a fully grown human across a room with great force.

Supernatural knowledge - Fairies are much older and wiser than humans and even other supernatural creatures like vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters.

Longevity: Fairies can live much longer than most other creatures, but they are not immortal, implying that they eventually face natural death. They can, however, be injured or drained of their blood to the point of their deaths. Upon dying their corpse dissolves into glittering dust.

secrets: Ginger adores storytelling, at one point she aspired to become an esteemed author, but later lost that dream and settled on making up stories and keeping them in a journal for herself
personality:
A trait shared with most of her species, Ginger can be very mischievous and at times can be rather vicious. In a word, Ginger is a firecracker. She loves to get into trouble and be the cause of trouble, as well as have a poison tongue when someone crosses her. Naturally this is the bad side of the coin, but it is a side that can be brought out at the drop of a hat depending on how she's feeling during the day. She can be the jealous type, depending on how important the person in question is to her, and that definitely brings out the malevolence in her. However, being it runs in the family, it's a trait that would take a lot of hard work to be rid of.
Ginger is a highly intelligent individual. In her many years she has had plenty of time to read and study all different types of subjects and histories. She has a fantastic memory and delights in aiding others in their educational endeavors. Ginger's favorite subjects are botany and trigonometry. She tries hard and is very persistent, firmly believing one should never give up on their goals.
She loves to be the center of attention. Ginger knows she's a pretty girl, and she isn't about to hide that. On the outside, she has no shame in herself and it's hard to embarrass her. She adores the limelight and isn't afraid to go to extremes to achieve just that.
However, she's so self critical it can almost be considered a major impairment of her's. Ginger often finds faults within herself, be it her actions or what she has said, even down to the clothes she's wearing. But this is a side that she keeps on the down low, as she wants to keep her reputation as a cool and confident fairy.
Ginger is very friendly and personable, and tries to keep a wide circle of friends and be the type that any feel they can go to with their problems. It can be hard to do at times, because she doesn't always agree with them, but those who can tolerate her find that she's a good person to have on their side. She has a will to be sweet, but oftentimes her selfishness or her ill temper gets in the way.

history:
Born in the humid heat on a summer day in 1907 to two fae parents, one could say that Ginger didn't lead the typical life for the time. They lived in a nice plantation-style home with large gardens and plenty to eat. Ginger was the oldest, with her sister coming alone seven years later. It was a happy time for the family, and one couldn't imagine anything to be amiss.
Ginger attended an all girl's school in New Orleans for several years where she learned math, literature and history. She took an instant liking to schoolwork, a passion that wasn't shared with her younger sister. Beatrice liked to spend time with other schoolgirls. She wanted to play dolls and embroider in a circle with other girls. Beatrice didn't want to waste her first years with her nose buried in books, that simply wouldn't do.
Eloise had similar beliefs to Beatrice, and later sent Ginger to live with her aunt Alice in Lafayette, New Orleans. Alice was much more in tune with her fairy abilities, and fully supported Ginger learning all that she could. Alice was an outcast of Lafayette, she was the odd rich lady who lived all alone and had strange habits. No one there really liked her, but she didn't mind all that much. Eloise had stressed to her children that to fit in they must suppress their magical abilities the best that they could.
Within a year, Ginger found that she liked Alice's way of thinking much better than that of her parents. She took up residence permanently with her aunt, where she later would go on to a university to continue her studies.
In her twenty-third year, tragedy hit the Belrose family. Beatrice was off at a party, and while her parents were home alone a vampire had broken in. The two were ill prepared for such an attack, and later perished in the struggle that followed. When Beatrice returned home the next day, she was horrified and in utter disbelief. She took to the bed ill for many days, and she was called in to live with Alice as well.
Beatrice was already very set in her ways and completely looked down on Alice and Ginger's viewpoint on using their abilities, and instead married off within the year to another fairy who lived in central Georgia.
Ginger continued to live with Alice for ten more years until the people in Lafayette began to get suspicious of the two women who didn't seem to age a day over 27.
From there, the two parted ways. Alice went to New Jersey where one of her brothers lived while Ginger went to New Orleans.
There she got a job. She played piano at one of the clubs for an okay amount of money. She saved up just enough to get a small apartment in the French Quarter where she lived happily for nearly six years. The piano gig finally fell through, and she packed her things and left the city.
After leaving New Orleans, she set moved up to North Carolina. For several years after that she drifted city to city on some of her savings from her inheritance. She finally settled on a small town where she took up a teaching job. Ginger found that this was a good career path for her, and she stayed there for nearly twelve years.
The year was 1967, and in the heat of the moment Ginger left once again and headed west to California. It was a roaring time, with Hollywood and movies and music and stars on nearly every corner. It was easy for Ginger to fall through the cracks, and she was able to live in an apartment in Hollywood for just about twenty years. She managed to get small roles, extras on films or running about getting coffee for high profile people, but nothing that would call any attention to her.
Ginger found that, in the mid 80's, she longed for attention and for the spotlight. That's when she packed her bags once again and went to Las Vegas. It wasn't very difficult for her to get a job as a showgirl, and she found that she didn't mind it too much. It wasn't her favorite occupation, but it did give her a little recognition that she was happy to have. At least people looked at her and looked for her. It was a nice feeling.
Ginger floated around Vegas for ten or so odd years, and didn't move away from Vegas until 1998 when she finally moved back in with her aunt in New Jersey.
Beatrice now lived next door to Alice, which came as quite a shock to Ginger. She never imagined that Beatrice would have anything to do with her odd aunt, but she had matured and settled down, and to top it all off she was pregnant with her first child.
For the first few years, everything went rather well. She adored spending time with her little nephew, and liked being able to be with family. Yet by 2004, Beatrice and Alice were begging her night and day to settle down and start a fae family of her own.
Ginger was a roamer, nomadic, she didn't want to put down roots and have a family, not yet. She still wanted to see the world, and besides, she hadn't found a fairy to date that she was attracted to. She greatly preferred the company of humans. So in 2006 she left once again and found herself in Mystic Falls, Virginia.
It was a hotspot for all kinds of people: witches, werewolves, vampires, you name it. Ginger was brave and confident in herself, and the fact that vampires resided there didn't bother her nearly as much as it would have twenty or thirty years before.
Ginger has been living under the radar, so to speak, ever since.

The sound of the faucet seemed to fill the entire bathroom. Ginger sank further into the lavender scented water as her eyes focused hard on the chrome head, beads of water gathering until they became so heavy they dropped into the pool below. This was her thinking time, this allowed her a moment to take a breath and detach herself from everything around her. It was soothing and comfortable, she wanted to pause time and stay like this for as long as possible. "That would be nice." She mumbled, thinking aloud to the thought.
She sank in a few more inches, her blonde hair floating on the surface and splaying out around her as the water rose to her ears. Ginger had been in the bath for well over twenty minutes, and she could see her fingertips beginning to prune. It was an ugly sight, it made her think too much of aging. She didn't want to age, she didn't want to become old and gray and wrinkled. So naturally she wasn't going to let water give her that illusion.
Slowly she rose from the waters, allowing it to roll down her frame and back into it's place. She grasped at the towel on the rack nearby and pulled it tight around her body. Ginger delicately stepped out of the tub and stood on the rug, staring at herself in the mirror opposite her. She wanted to criticize everything about her right then and there, but she didn't want to get upset that quick after such a nice bath. "It will wait." She said aloud, breaking her gaze from the mirror to pull her wet hair up into a twist inside the towel to gather the moisture.
The loud ringing of the phone made her grimace. She hated the sound, she wished she could tear it off the wall! Noises in her time of peace? No, she didn't like that in the least. A hand gripped the counter as she tried to quell her detest for the ringing. It wasn't going to answer itself, and she doubted she could wait long enough for it to stop. Besides, for all she knew it could be important. Ginger didn't like purposely ignoring people, it certainly wasn't classy.
She took her robe off of the door and tied it about her waist. Her bare feet padded down the hallway to the phone where she took it off the base and clicked the little green button. Her little bit of peace for the day had officially come to an end.
