personality: Kasia is a girl that tends to keep quiet and to herself. She spends a lot of her time writing in her journal as a way to escape the world around her and so that she has a way to vent out her frustrations. Due to some things that happened in her past, she isn't quick to trust people, but once she does trust someone she becomes a very loyal to them...almost to a fault. Though she is normally quiet, she is rather quick witted when the occasion calls for it, and will easily call someone out if she thinks they're in the wrong.
When it comes to making friends, she's never had an easy time with it and has been known to get frustrated with herself over it. When she wants something she'll work hard to make sure she gets it, so in some cases she can be quiet determined and strong willed. She tries her best not to let her emotions get to her, so there are times when she can come off as emotionless, though that's almost never the true case for her. Whenever she isn't writing in her journal, she can usually be found walking around town or reading a book.
All in all, she's the “quiet girl next door” type of person but harbors the memories of a spotted past which gives her a little bit of mystery. Through it all though, she keeps a smile on her face to throw people off and to conceal her true feelings.

history: Kasia was born on September 15th in Bellmore, New York. She spent the majority of her life there as she grew up along side her older brother Zach. Being a suburban area, it offered plenty for her and her brother to do, and for the first part of her life she was a bubbly, happy kid with a great perspective of the world around her. Her dad was a business man while her mother ran her own bakery, a place where Kasia loved to spend her time helping her mom bake sweet treats. Things for her family looked picture perfect until one day she walked in and caught her dad kissing another woman other than her mom. Things started to get a little rough from then on.
Not wanting to split of the family, her mom tried everything in her power to make her marriage work, but she found it extremely difficult to ever trust the man again, and eventually filed for divorce when Kasia was only 11 years old. Once her mom and dad split, her dad rarely checked up on them or called to talk to her, so she started to resent her dad for seemingly not caring about her. Once she hit her teen years, she started the whole process of trying to find her “group” within her school. Unfortunately, she started hanging out with the wrong sort of people and went through a “rebellion” stage much to her mother's dismay.
It was around the time that she was 15 that she started dating other guys. She started dating Jason a little before her 16th birthday and things started to really look up for her. Jason seemed to be a sweet and caring guy to her and was always taking her out on dates. About 3 months into the relationship, she discovered that Jason wasn't exactly as much of a good boy as he made himself out to be. Once she found out that he was a drinker, she tried to reach out to him and help him overcome it, but in the end, she ended up succumbing to it herself.
It took her a a year and one life threatening incident later to finally come to her senses and realize that they both had a serious problem. Not wanting to give up on Jason, she once again tried to help him get past his drinking, but the second that she realized that he cared more about drinking than he did her, she finally left him and decided to try and get her life back on track. Around the same time, her mother caught news that her grandma's health was quickly declining. Wanting to be near her mom so that she could take care of her, Kasia's mom up and moved them (except for her brother who moved out on his own) to Mystic Falls so that they could be there for her grandma in her time of need.

Brynlee leaned back against her desk and let out a puff of air as she watched any loose strands of her brunette hair get pushed away from her face. The Charm's professor had gotten up early so that she could venture back towards Hogwarts to get her classroom ready since the new school term would be starting in only a little over two weeks. Though she knew the room needed a bit of work, but she hadn't been prepared to have to do as much cleaning as it looked like the room needed, and she certainly wasn't really in the mood to spend all day getting the classroom cleaned and ready.
She let out a loud sigh and pulled out her wand as she pointed it in the direction of some dusty bookcases. ”Scourgify.” she chanted as she watched the once dirty bookcase quickly get cleaned. The brunette continued to do the same procedure to the various things that filled her classroom, and before too long the room finally looked half way decent. A smile played on her soft lips as she looked over her work approvingly. I knew there was a reason I loved magic so much! she thought happily.
Now that the cleaning was out of her way, all she had to do was rearrange a few things here and there, but that wasn't anything a quick and easy charm couldn't help her with. Finally, her room was cleaned and ready for the term to start, but now she still had the Slytherin Common Room to tackle. You know, I think I'll leave the Common Room for another day, because I rather go out and enjoy myself. was the last thing she thought before exiting her class room. It was hard to believe that the new term was due to start soon, in fact it almost felt like there wasn't even a term break, but Bryn chalked that up to the fact that she had been insanely busy and had yet to truly get a break.
Looking out a nearby window she noticed the changing colors of the sky as light hues of pink, purple, and orange let her know that the day was quickly ending. The young woman wanted to get some time in to enjoy herself for once before she would be bogged down with homework and other duties since she was the Deputy Headmistress. Without a second thought, the Charm's professor quickly apparated and landed in Hogsmeade Village. ”Oh the perks of being a Deputy.” she said to nobody in particular. She wasted no time in walking down the familiar path to the Hogs Head, where she spent a good amount of her time when she wanted to get away from stuff.
