Welcome to Mystic Falls, a place where vampires and witches live, but not in peace. Where a high school girl named Elena Gilbert is torn between two vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore. Damon has recently learned that the love of his life is still alive and doesn't care where he is. She has a plan of her own, one that is going to put the entire town of Mystic Falls at risk. She has teamed up with three of the deadliest female vampires. Anna, Pearl and Isobel. Anna sadly is in love with Elena's younger brother, Jeremy Gilbert. His heart belongs to another, her name is Erika Mirazida. She is living with the Salvatore's and had a little fling with Stefan many years ago.
Fournder's Day has pasted, and Jeremy thinks that both Anna and Erika were killed in the rounding up of the vampires. Because of this, he has taken his life into his own hands. As well as this, Katherine has been invited into the Gilbert's home. Will Elena finally have a run-in with her doppleganger? Will Erika or Anna find Jeremy in time? Will Damon have to kill his past flame or will her fall back in love with her? In reality, love really does suck.
