Species allowed: Humans, Vampires, Witches, Werewolves, Hybrids
Made up characters are allowed with the exception of witches.
OUT PLOT
Rumors have circulated Mystic Falls; the rumor of an herb in particular, with mystical properties unexplained except its ability to resurrect those who are dead to the plane of the living. People hear about this and they picture the many opportunities that would follow the herb named Resurgam. What would it be like to have the power to revive at will? A loved one. A friend. They desire the herb for their own selfish reasons. People see the opportunity to prevent others from returning to this planet, forcing them to stay amongst the dead forever.
Others hear about this and they feel the herb should be left where it is, in some ancient tomb hidden beneath the Earth. But Resurgam won't be left where it is; and for that part of the blame will go to Jake Dobbs - a warlock and direct descendant of the witches that created a mystical herb, and thus - the one warlock in the possession of the spell which could unlock the tomb.
Other parts of the blame will go to Galen Vaughn and Connor Jordan; two of the five vampire hunters who have yet to complete the marks upon their body, which lead to the very thing capable of bringing their brothers in-arms back to this world.
Unbeknownst to them all is what awaits in the tomb. Something sinister. Something that will make everyone regret going after the herb in the first place. Will they band together and defeat this mighty foe or die trying to fight it alone? One thing is certain; everyone will want the herb once they hear about it, and what then? A race. A race of this time. The Quest for the herb will be a common phenomena that hold unforeseen consequences for the world at large.
