HOMECOMING, I'M COMING( m y s w e e t m i s t a k e s u m m e r s o v e r h o p e i t s n o t t o o l a t e) Another day and more people buying useless crap Ash immediately thought as she left her job at the mall. She hated working there, having to smile and be happy but the funds from back home she used to get to Mystic Falls and they were dwindling. She needed to job buy groceries for her and Skylor so they wouldn’t starve to death. Lord knows how Skylor survived on instant noodles. Ashley was glad she knew how to cook otherwise she might have starved to death in Sky’s house. Sadly, Ash knew, that starving to death wasn’t her fate. She was going to be killed again by that vampire stranger who’s name kept disappearing from her memories of him. He made her heart skip a beat and her fists clench in hatred all at the same time.
His face, his eyes, his voice... Everything was enticing but so Appalling. Ashley knew Lottie ahd fallen for him purely on looks the first time and later learned to love him with her heart. Before she could he killed her though and the viciousness of that haunted Ash’s dreams every night her whole life. Ashley could never be a normal human girl, a normal human girl couldn’t recall all of her past lives off the top of her head. Ash was human, she knew that much, she was just a human who cursed herself to haunt a vampire. How lucky was she? Ash sighed and shook her head. She needed a break before she went back and dealt with Skylor.
Walking down the streets of Mystic falls she Walked right over to the cheap little car Skylor had lent her. He had a much nicer one and he just never had a chance to sell this one. He gave it to Ash, no questions asked and she couldn’t refuse it. As a matter of fact every time she did the keys would “Magically” Appear in her book bag. Skylor was such a pain sometimes but he was a real sweet heart. He reminded Ashley of the twin brother she left back at home. She couldn’t stay home, she was restless with worry and wound up to the point where she would attack anyone that came near her. Mystic Falls calmed her down for some reason and Ashley felt at peace here. If it was because of Charlotte or Caitlyn or Theresa, Ashley didn’t know. She did know Mystic Falls was a place she could grow old and die in without worrying about waking up as someone new the next day.
Hopping into her piece of crap car and turning on the engine Ashley drove her way down to the closest Bar and Pool Hall to relax. For some reason she felt more at peace when there were people around her because she knew the Vampire stranger of her past lives couldn’t sneak up on her and sink his teeth into her neck. She shuddered at the thought because that was exactly what Happened to Theresa. Her through was completely ripped out by his teeth and the memory was making Ashley Nauseous. Pulling up to the Bar she found a place to park and walked in. There weren’t many people she knew there but then again Ash never actually bothered to befriends anyone.
She walked over to the bar and ordered some fries and a Coke before finding an empty pool table. Resting her fries on the edge of the pool table and setting the balls up she took a sip from her cook. She popped a few fries into her mouth, ignoring how scalding hot they were and took another sip of coke before starting the game. She took her aim, shot and the balls scattered everywhere.
Eating another fry she aimed at the solid red ball and fired. It shot, bounced off a corner and knocked the Solid yellow ball into the hole as well. Ash was okay at pool, she mostly did it to relax after having to smile like she cared all day. She took aim for another shot but something distracted her and she missed. She cursed rather loudly and profanely for a girl and a few people turned. She glared viciously before turning back to her game. She didn’t care what they thought, it was the plus side to being Apathetic about everything. You didn’t have to care.

Tylor walked into the bar cautiously peering inside too make sure no adults he knew were inside, before walking up to the bar with his hand in his pockets trying to act casual. He didn’t want to go home yet, but that meant he couldn’t get his stash so he figured he’d see if he could bluff his way through and get a drink where they didn’t know him.
“Hey man, can, I get a shot of vodka?” Tyler asked with a nod and pulling out some money.
“That depends, got any ID on you Mr Lockwood?” The barmen asked in reply with his arms on the bar itself and a raised eyebrow.
Tyler let out a breath with a curse and looked down before coming up with a sarcastic smile. Of course being the son of the recently deceased mayor everyone knew who he was. Still maybe the guy was up for a bribe. Pulling out and extra twenty he leaned on the counter with the note out of sight.
“C’mon” Tyler said pulling out his best smile “maybe we could work something… “Soda, Water or get out” The barmen cut him off sharply.
Tyler clenched his jaw and stood up straight “Coke” he ordered with a quick raising of his eyebrows. As The barmen got his glass ready he started tapping the bar in frustration and looked around the bar noticing the various people staring at him with the occasional whispering about his father. Grabbing the coke and flinging a note at the barmen he left barely hearing the angry “you’re welcome” from the barmen. Tylor walked straight over to the pool table where he saw a girl he didn’t recognise just shoot two balls into one pocket and line up for another shot.
“Hey, that was a nice shot” Tyler complimented taking a drink from his glass straight after and snorted into it when she stuffed up the next one.
"Sorry” Tyler apoligised pursing his lips to hide the smile just as she cursed.
“Nice to meet you to” he muttered sarcastically and looked up at the pool stick rack he smirked and walking round to it. “Ok, how bout we play”. Without waiting for a reply he picked up a Stick and line up a shot “I’ll take stripes” sending a green strip balled into the far right corner as he said it. Another smirk popping up when it went straight in, he walked round to get the yellow stripe in.
"See, we're even, I'll let you take next shot" Tyler offered smugly with a lsight smirk.

HOMECOMING, I'M COMING( m y s w e e t m i s t a k e s u m m e r s o v e r h o p e i t s n o t t o o l a t e) “Hey, that was a nice shot” Ash heard and that was what had distracted her. He heard him and she shook her head. ”Sorry” At least he was apologizing for screwing her shot over. Looking at her distracter she knew him, but she didn’t know him. It was the dead mayors kid. She didn’t know the story and she didn’t know the mayor. Ash was new in town and maybe not knowing the skeletons this town had in its closet was a good thing, especially when she was hiding her own. ”Thanks”
she said stopping her game and trying not to even attempt to mask the sarcasm in her voice. If he could hold up against her sarcastic attacks maybe Ash would be less off a B*tch towards him. He didn’t fall for the sob story even if it was true. She was not sympathetic to people in fact she was completely apathetic to people. Tyler wasn’t the same. ”Nice to meet you to” He said sarcastically after her profane curse. That’s what made an icy smirk rise to her lips. This would be in the least entertaining. ”I don’t remember introducing myself Tyler.” Ash said watching as he walked over towards the stick rack. He thinks he’s going to play. I bet he thinks he’s going to win. Ash thought to herself eyeing him. Maybe he would and maybe he wouldn’t but if he thought Ash was going to let him win, he had another thing coming. “Ok, how bout we play”. He said and Ash smirked sarcastically. ”Sure, Let’s play. I want to see the look on your face when I beat you.” Ash said rather confidently. She liked being on control of things and if she came off as a confident Sarcastic B*tch then her defence mechanism was working. Why let people get close enough to you just to hurt you? Skylor was the only exception to that but Ash just lived with him, nothing more. “I’ll take stripes” He said and Ash rolled her eyes. Sure Tyler, you can play, I don’t care if you interrupt my game of pool. Go ahead, I’ll let you. She said rather sarcastically in her head. She knew if this was back in Charlotte’s day the flighty girl would be flirting, trying to get his attention, and then she’d leave him wondering because that’s what Lottie did. He watched as he sunk his next two shot, first the green then the yellow. She raised an eyebrow and stared at Tyler. Well Ash did like a challenge and knocking a pretty boy off his high horse would be a great thing to her.
"See, we're even, I'll let you take next shot" Ash didn’t say a word as she lined up to hit the blue ball. It wasn’t exactly anywhere near going into a hole but the red one was in a position that if Ash hit it with the blue one, it would knock into the purple one and knock the purple one in. Smiling to herself she lined up her shot. Tuning out everything around her as she did and focusing on the ball. She aimed and fired and watched the blue ball hit the red ball, the red ball hit the purple ball and the purple ball go in. The red one rolled and the blue one moved so it was closer to a hole now. Leaning up slowly she looked at Tyler and smiled. ”Rather smug aren’t you, how good would it look if I beat you?” Ash asked innocently grabbing another fry and popping it into her mouth. Tyler was the kind of guy that Angelique would like. Of course Angelique was the one life Ash had that was the most normal... Until she died of course. ”If the bartender won’t give you a drink I could get you one. I can’t drink, gotta drive home but there’s a nifty thing called a fake ID out there that can get you into a lot of clubs and buy you a lot of drinks.” Ash said remembering seeing him argue with the bartender for a minute before Tyler came to bug Ash. ”I don’t remember introducing myself Tyler.”Tyler pursed his lips when she said his name, with a little raised eyebrow and resigned half nod. Of course who doesn't know the dead mayors kid, well at least your not pretending you give a damn. He thought he was sick of people coming u to him in the street offering there condolences and all the rest of that bullsh*t. Most of them saying his name wrong “It's Taylor right, was sorry to here about your dad, he was good man”. Despite all the supposed sympathy he couldn't even get a goddamn drink! Still she wasn't going to shake him off that easily he new the type. Sarcastic wants to be alone, rude to everybody. “Well now's your chance” he replied with equal amount of sarcasm .
”Sure, Let’s play. I want to see the look on your face when I beat you.” Tyler smiled this one was cocky. “Nice to see you're modest” he replied sarcastically. Tyler saw out of the corner of his eye the annoyance flickering on her face and struggled to keep his smile in check, though he wasn't completely sure it was because of his comment or the fact that he took stripes. He did a mental shrug who cared. Tyler stood up smugly one he completed his shots noticing the raised eyebrow, still she looked like, she still thought she could take him, so he smirked and gestured to the table as he offered her the next shot.
Tyler initially frowned as there wasn't a clear shot of any of the holes where the blue ball was. Circling round the table the long way to get his drink as an excuse to check out her ass his head glanced up when he heard the first ball connect and watched with interest as the shot played out. Tylers eyebrows shot up and he ran his tongue along his cheeks and mouth with a reluctant smile and conceding nod which then turned into straight out grin . ”Rather smug aren’t you, how good would it look if I beat you?”. “Well, I guess we'll never find out” he answered just as innocently with a slightly raised eyebrow and the grin still on his face as he started to circle around the table again stealing one of her fries as he did so.
Tyler studied the table, trying to figure out his next shot he smirked as he saw the perfect one lining up his stick so the the white ball would be able to slit his red and purple sending each into different holes. Tyler watched as the white ball glided into both balls sending the purple ball into the bottom left corner pocket and watching the red ball sail along the side of the table, hit the corner of the middle pocket rock for second before becoming completely still on the edge of the hole. Tyler let out a groan and a curse. Then he sent a pretend scowled at the girl “Shut up ”. Even though she hadn't actually said anything yet he could see the cheap call forming on her lips.
”If the bartender won’t give you a drink I could get you one. I can’t drink, gotta drive home but there’s a nifty thing called a fake ID out there that can get you into a lot of clubs and buy you a lot of drinks.”. Tyler let out huff and slight shake of the head. “I have an ID” Tyler replied puling three out his wallet as he said so and handing them to her over the table. “Unfortunately being the dead mayors kid comes with the side effect of everyone reading the front page and seeing” Tyler paused to put on a bad impersonation of a reporters voice. “Mr Lockwoods death is tragic occurrence not only to the community but to his family particularly his son Tyler Lockwood only 17 yrs old” Tyler dropped the voice and lowered his normal one to a mutter “Et setera, Et setera”.
Tyler starred at the ground lost in his thoughts and he hadn't even liked the guy. Tyler looked up at her. “You planning on taking your shot before we die?”

HOMECOMING, I'M COMING( m y s w e e t m i s t a k e s u m m e r s o v e r h o p e i t s n o t t o o l a t e) “Well now's your chance” Tyler said just as sarcastically. Ash eyed him for a minute before shrugging. It couldn’t hurt, it’s not like Tyler’s a threat she thought to herself as she eyed him cautiously. ”it’s Ash, Ashley Iris.” Ash said masking her hesitance with confidence. Her full name she rarely used. She was Ashley, the new girl who seemed to hate everyone. It was easier for her just in case. She already hurt most of the people that loved her and she had been hurt countless times over thanks to her nifty little seeing into her past gift. Gift? More like curse. Ash hated it but she knew until her Vampire stalker was gone she’d never be able to stop living in the cycle.
“Nice to see you're modest” He said and Ash cocked her head to the side. ”I’m also Humble and a Virtuous.” she said sarcastically. To hell she was humble. The only part of that was true was the virtuous part. She didn’t know if that was part of her own personality or if she picked up on it from one of her other past lives. Either way Ash intended to keep her virtue for a very, very long time.
“Well, I guess we'll never find out” He said innocently as he moved to make his shot. Well at least now Ash was entertained. Playing pool by herself could get quite boring and Skylor rarely ever came out with her. Watching him circle the table and steal one of her fries Ash waited rather impatiently for him to take his shot. ”I was planning on eating those myself but sure Tyler you could have one, glad you asked.” She muttered out loud to herself. Honestly she didn’t care if Tyler had heard her. If he had, whoop de doo. Ash didn’t really care.
Watching him as he shot the ball and the purple one sunk while the red one stopped short Ash smiled to herself. Not so smug now are you? she asked watching his facial expression. “Shut up ” he said and Ash laughed at him. Not a dainty little girly laugh, or a flirty laugh or a strained laugh but an innocent real laugh. ”I didn’t say a thing.” She said rather smugly. Ash liked that she already got under his skin and they had just formally met. It was weird for her to like it but it meant she could bug him when she wanted without having to try.
“I have an ID” He said pulling out three and handing them to her across the table. She studied each one and they were all really well made. She was pretty sure even a really well trained cop could tell the difference between these and a Real ID. “Unfortunately being the dead mayors kid comes with the side effect of everyone reading the front page and seeing” He said and Ash shrugged as she handed them back to him. ”Don’t read the paper. Often. I browse the front page, go to school then work after that.” Ash said. She wasn’t interested in the towns Issues when she had her own to figure out.
“Mr Lockwoods death is tragic occurrence not only to the community but to his family particularly his son Tyler Lockwood only 17 yrs old” He said in a really bad imitation of a reporter and Ash snorted. ”Really? Only seventeen? Hanging out with younger men, what would my mother say?” Ash asked out loud trying to shy attention away from the fact Tyler’s dad died. Death Ash did not like. She remembered enough of it already from her dreams and occasional visions of her past. She hated it, hated it almost more than the reason she had them but she didn’t voice it to anyone. She could just imagine what people would say. “Look at the freak who thinks she’s being stalked by a Vampire... What a Mental Hazard.”... That’s what annoyed Ash, knowing people were like that. It’s why she distanced herself away from everyone, even Skylor who was nice enough to let her stay with him for free.
“You planning on taking your shot before we die?” He asked rather annoyed and Ash smirked. ”Yeah, one second.”
Ash said leaning her stick on the pool table and walking over to the bar. Boobs were an asset that Ash had but used seldomly. Right now she was going to use them to distract the bartender from looking at her ID to closely. ”A Vodka Shot please.” Ash asked smoothly flashing him her Id as the bartender stared at her, sputtered something then got her the shot. She winked at him before sauntering her way back to Tyler with the drink making sure she made her hips swing in the process. Ash hated doing it but Tyler needed the drink and she really didn’t feel like being a B*tch all night. ”There’s you drink.” She said handing it to him before she grabbed her pool stick and a few more fries. She looked at where the white ball was and looked at where the blue ball was. She could sink it, she knew she could but she would need to be really careful about it. Ash Aimed and leaned on the pool table to make sure she was aiming right and fired. She pocketed the ball into the hole but she knocked the white one in there as well. She cursed under her breathe and gave Tyler a glare not to say a word. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

“Nice to meet you Ash” Tyler said with a smile when she finally. Tyler wasn’t sure if she was going to introduce herself or not after the lingering silence that followed his sarcastic reply. He had begun to wonder if she was thinking up a fake name that she was going to give him a fake name knowing it was a trick girls used often along with fake phone numbers. Which got him to wondering if he should ask her that as well, though he quickly dismissed the idea, to early better wait a bit. Besides he was relatively sure it was a her real name, he could usually spot a lie when he saw one recognising the traits in himself and applying it to other people.
“I’m also Humble and Virtuous” Tyler snorted, he wasn’t sure about the Virtuous part, but Humble he was sure didn’t fit into her description.“And, I’m Usher” Tyler muttered sarcastically, not particularly caring if Ash heared or not. He hoped it wasn’t true about the virtuous part. All the tattoos on her body suggested she wasn’t as innocent as she was pretending she was then again maybe she was innocent pretending to be rough. Tyler did another mental shrug it didn’t particularly matter.
”I was planning on eating those myself but sure Tyler you could have one, glad you asked.” . Tyler heard the annoyance an impatience in her voice and grinned turning to face her a cheeky grin still on his face. “If you didn’t want your chips taken why did you make them such an inviting target?” Tyler asked around his chip as he prepared to take his shot. This is going to be fun he thought to himself.
Tyler scowled at her trying to hide his own grin as he did so. ”I didn’t say a thing.” . “Yeah, Yeah, like you weren’t going to” he replied a little sourly. Although he could tell she was enjoying the fact that she was annoying him so easily, which in turn annoyed him even further hence the snappy and drawn out response that followed. Tyler regretted the words as soon as they came out of his mouth The last thing he wanted was to bring up his fathers death and another sorry he was good man bla bla bla speech. Or sound like the whiny dude who started crying in public. His fears were dismissed at her response and he laughed out loud genuinely at her response.
”Really? Only seventeen? Hanging out with younger men, what would my mother say?”. “So how does it feel to be a cougar?” he asked still laughing. He liked that she ignored the subject of death entirely, and was beginning to like her more with every passing moment. She wasn’t pretending, or kissing his ass, just being casual about everything. He wished it were more like this all the time in stead of having to be labelled as the Prodigal son, what did they no of what happened to him every night on the full moon, like they knew how it felt to become… Tyler let the thought go unfinished and turned his mind to the present.
Tyler watched curiously as Ash walked over to the bar and snorted Yeah right like that’d… oh sneaky little minx Tyler stopped himself mid thought as he saw her bend over a little too much to ask the bartender for the drink. Tyler caught himself from laughing just in time. He didn’t want to ruin the one chance he might have. Tyler watched with tense suspense as he saw her flirt with the bartender “C’mon, c’mon dude, please don’t be gay”. Tyler knew that’d be the only way any guy in their early twenties would be able to say no to those breasts, though then again the way he had been shut down before Tyler wouldn’t put it past him. Tyler did a little grunt and clenched his fist in triumph and grinned as she walked back to him.
Tyler did a little clap for her as she came closer “Nicely done, I like a woman who knows how to use what she’s got.” Tyler hinted suggestively. ”There’s you drink.” “Cheers”. Raising the glass to her he waited until she bent over to take her shot to raise the glass to the barmen with a smile and a rude finger knowing the bartender couldn’t do anything about it unless he wanted to cause a huge issue then get asked awkward questions about why he served to a minor. Tyler shot the glass whole and set it down with a slam and a big “Aaaaah that’s better”. Tyler watched Ashes shot unfold and managed to turn his laugh into a cough as she gave him a death stare. “That shot really hit the spot” he explained barely concealing his grin.
“You need to pull back a little on the thrust” Tyler advised as he positioned the white ball so that he could easily get in the purple that was sitting on the edge. “Watch and learn”. Tyler ever so gently tapped the white and watched it roll slowly to tap the purple in and watch it rock on the edge of the hole. Tyler watched it rock Once… Twice… and it was still again. Tyler let out the breath he hadn’t realised he was holding. Tyler stood up with a triumphant grin, then searched the table for more shots, finding none he had to settle with knocking the white ball and another of his balls into the middle of a cluster, trying to make it harder for his opponent. He parted the cluster and was pleased to see the white ball surrounded on three sides with no clear shot which would make it a tough shot for Ash to make whichever way she chose to shoot from.

HOMECOMING, I'M COMING ( m y s w e e t m i s t a k e s u m m e r s o v e r h o p e i t s n o t t o o l a t e) “Nice to meet you Ash” Tyler said with a smile. Ash might have introduced herself as Lottie but if he knew Mystic Fall’s history he would know about Lottie Rose and that was just a Chance Ash didn’t want to take. She used a fake name where it mattered but with Tyler she didn’t think he would care if she told him her name was Angelique. The last time Ash had to use a fake name was when some guy asked for her number. He got the Name Caitlyn and the number to a mental institution. Ash skipped that city the same day and never looked back. ”Pleasure’s all mine.” she replied with a crooked grin.
“And, I’m Usher” Ash heard Tyler mutter. It made her smile inside her head. If he didn’t believe a word she said who cared? As long as he didn’t think he was going to get inside her pants that was fine with Ash. She still had her virtue, she was too sarcastic to even have a relationship with a guy. They all ended within the week they started. It was easier for them that way but a tiny part of Ash told her it was just easier for he because there was something inside her that still felt for Lottie’s mysterious killer. When that part spoke up, Ash killed it off quickly and went back to her usual state of mind. Sarcastic, bitchy, apathetic and slightly closed off.
“If you didn’t want your chips taken why did you make them such an inviting target?” He said with a cheeky grin and Ash rolled her eyes. ”You are going to have to buy me new fries to replace the ones you ate, you know that right?” Ash said not really having a comeback for that. She didn’t exactly have armed forces protecting her fries but what did it matter? She would have him pay her back, or buy her new fries some other day and it would give her an excuse to see him again.... not that Ash wanted to of course.
“Yeah, Yeah, like you weren’t going to” He replied sourly and Ash smiled innocently. Sure she was going to say something but she didn’t and the fact that he thought she was going to say something anyways proved at least he knew how she acted. ”Ye of little faith.”[/color she said trying to sound as innocent as possible. She sounded a lot like Lottie when she said that and it made Ash irritated. She wasn’t Lottie, she was her own person and she didn’t like sounding like Lottie either. At least now she knew in English she wouldn’t be raising her hand to read Shakespeare any time soon.
“So how does it feel to be a cougar?” He said with laugh and Ash shrugged. ”How does it feel to be a piece of eye candy?” she asked teasingly. Tyler was cute, really cute and usually Ash never noticed that in a guy. If they could handle her for more than three seconds without getting irked at her sarcastic nature then she would start noticing things in them... very few lasted to say the least. ”There isn’t a huge gap between us, I’m only 18 and I have my whole life ahead of me.” she said letting more ice leak into the last part than she should have. It wasn’t Tyler’s fault some vampire kept killing her off before she could actually grow old and truly live her life. She mumbled an apology that she barely heard herself say.
“Nicely done, I like a woman who knows how to use what she’s got.” Tyler said suggestively and Ash smiled and cocked her head. ”Girls gotta use her assets when she’s the only one supporting herself. You’d be surprised how well these Assets work at getting what I want.” She said smirking. Forget about Diamonds, boobs were a girl’s best friend. Even if Ash felt slightly exploited hen she used her body to suggest things she would never do it was worth it in the end. If the guy got pushy Ash wasn’t afraid to have her fist impact with his temple.
“Cheers”. he said raising the glass to her before she bent over to take her shot. She could have swore she felt him sticking the bartender the finger while she was bent over the table and that gave her some satisfaction in a weird way. Give a guy a drink when he wants one, give anyone a drink when they want one and all the world’s problems would be solved. “Aaaaah that’s better”. He said slamming his cup down. Ash hoped that if he got hammered of drinks that he would at least remember where he lived so Ash wouldn’t have to take her back to Sky’s house and awkwardly explain why she was bringing in a guy who was drunk off his ass into her room.
Ash heard him laugh as Tyler tried to hide it with a cough. She narrowed her eyes at him and almost gave off a really pouty face. “You need to pull back a little on the thrust” He said smiling. Ash’s pout relaxed back into her usual sarcastic expression as she looked at Tyler normally. “Watch and learn”. He said and Ash did watch raising an eyebrow as she watched the ball rock then go in. ”Maybe being rough isn’t always the best solution.” She said watching as he took his next shot. It scattered the balls everywhere and then Ash went back to glaring at him, she didn’t have a clear shot anywhere. ”Thanks for that Ty, much appreciated.” she said rather sarcastically as she searched for a shot. Glowering when she couldn’t find one she settled for setting one up. She tried to get a good angle for the green one and when she fired her shot she managed to knock it closer to the pocket than any of her other balls would have gotten.
Looking at Tyler’s empty shot glass Ash couldn’t help but crave one of her own. She knew she said she wouldn’t drink but one couldn’t hurt her right? ”Screw it...” She muttered sauntering back up to the bartender. She tried to come off as provocative and talkative as she ordered two more vodka shots. The bartender was sceptical of her and she caught him looking back over at Tyler. Ash rolled her eyes and grabbed a napkin. She had lipstick in her pocket and she used that to write the number of the local theatre on it. Hopefully he didn’t recognize as she wrote it down and handed it to him. He got her shots within seconds and She smiled flirtatiously at him. ”Call me...” she said winking over her shoulder as she walked back with both of the shots ”Not.” She said as soon as she was back within Earshot of Tyler. Being Flirty didn’t look good on Ash and with her tats she felt as if she was giving off the impression that she was an easy, slutty, do anything for a good lay kind of girl.

”Pleasure’s all mine.” Tyler gave his own crooked grin in response with a raised eyebrow “Oh, I doubt that” he said in complete honesty holding her gaze for a few moments before looking away like you do when your caught day dreaming. “So where you from? haven’t seen you around at any of the goth spots or parties before or anywhere really. You must be new” this was true as Tyler once had a girlfriend just before Vicki who had been goth, though they just sort of never talked again after Tyler beat up a couple of her friends. It was too bad really since they had thrown some awesome parties.
”You are going to have to buy me new fries to replace the ones you ate, you know that right?” Tyler smirked. This girl was obviously looking for an excuse to see him again or continue this further. What this was he had yet to decide, though if he could he would that much Tyler knew for sure. “Careful now Ashley, if, I didn’t know better, I’d say you’re asking me out” Tyler knew as soon as he said he was opening himself up for a whole line of calls ranging from the classic/cliché In your dreams to something along the lines of You’ve obviously never been asked out before or something along those line, still it should be entertaining good or bad.
”Ye of little faith” Tyler smirked “Che, well that explains it you’re from the middle ages no wonder, I haven’t seen you around before” Tyler said with mock realisation “Gotta say you picked up on pool and tats pretty quickly, what were you some sort of specially trained pinkerton trying to track down outlaws?” Tyler asked taking the joke a it too far “ I had western obsession when, I was a kid” he admitted with a grimace. Tyler had watched every western classic most people could think of and some they’ve never heard of before.
”How does it feel to be a piece of eye candy?” she asked teasingly. Tyler laughed again, he knew he was good looking and loved it when girls would stare at him when he walked by, especially if he was shirtless and/or wet. In fact he would frequently drench himself with water during practise just too see how many girls turned there heads to look. “Honestly, pretty damn good, you’re not too bad yourself, got that whole mysterious stranger vibe about you” Tyler answered honestly with a sly smile. ”There isn’t a huge gap between us, I’m only 18 and I have my whole life ahead of me.” She said with surprising ice-coldness Tyler stood still unsure how to proceed before he heard or rather saw her lips mumble something he assumed to be an apology laughed “Don’t worry, I’ve done a lot worst” Tyler brushed the apology aside.
”Girls gotta use her assets when she’s the only one supporting herself. You’d be surprised how well these Assets work at getting what I want.” Tyler smiled and shook his head. “Trust me, I know just how well those assests can work” Tyler said with a little bit of venom mixed with regret aimed at himself more than anyone else. Vicki had used those same assets to get pills for him off of Jeremy although she eventually fell for him in the end Tyler admitted to himself. Thoughts of Vicki only got him in an even worst mood and he tried to push them away. Which was when he realised that what the drink was for.
”Maybe being rough isn’t always the best solution.” Tyler smirked “Don’t worry, I only recently learnt that myself” Tyler admitted as he took his next shot. He was surprised at how easy it was too talk with her, but then it was probably just the alcohol starting to take effect he decided. ”Thanks for that Ty, much appreciated.” Tyler assumed by the amount of sarcasms and the fact she was looking at where he hit the ball, it was directed at the awkward position she had put her in. Literally. “Anytime”
Tyler watched Ashes shot unfurl and gave a little nod of approval that he doubted she noticed. Tyler lent over the table to take his shot and sinked a ball in just as she said ”Screw it...” Tyler looked up to see her walking towards the bartender and shook his head, if she could get another shot out of that guy after what Tyler had just done, she was a witch. Tyler watched with interest as Ash wrote down on a piece of paper. Idiot as if a girl like that would give you her real number Tyler thought with disbelief as he saw Ash get away with it and walk back to him. Over her shoulder Tyler saw confusion than anger flicker across the barmen’s face as he took out his cell phone and started dialling a oh. Tyler strode across to Ash quickly.
“Yeeeah, I don’t think he’s gonna take that well” Tyler said gesturing with a nod at the barmen who was now holding the phone to his ear and starring at them. Taking one of the shot glasses he gulped it and set it down and a nearby table “C’mon we’ll go out the back” Tyler said taking a hold of her arm and heading for the door with the green exit sign above it. behind him he heard a very angry, flustered “Oi!” which was when he bolted for the door holding it open for Ash to follow through.

HOMECOMING, I'M COMING( m y s w e e t m i s t a k e s u m m e r s o v e r h o p e i t s n o t t o o l a t e) “Oh, I doubt that” Tyler said holding Ash’s gaze for a moment. When he looked away Ash Smirked for a split second. Now she wondered what all that was about. “So where you from? haven’t seen you around at any of the goth spots or parties before or anywhere really. You must be new” He said and as soon as the word Goth came out Ash felt herself laughing. ”Windsor, Canada, Ontario. Not in that exact order. Goth parties? Sounds like a blast but I don’t think all black would look that great on me.” she said imagining herself as a goth girl. Skanky or Classic medieval... Either way the corsets would definitely improves Ash’s Assets and getting into clubs.
“Careful now Ashley, if, I didn’t know better, I’d say you’re asking me out” He said and Ash had a really snarky and clichéd reply for him but why not try and psych him out a little and not say any of the obvious answers she would say. ”I never was the Careful type Tyler.” she said neither confirming nor denying his comment on asking him out. Maybe going out with Tyler would be every girls dream, and the kind of guy he was Ash’s too at one point. Maybe if they dated it would put a notch in Ash’s normalcy scale and if he was the mayors son he might still have access to the old records of Mystic Falls. Ash might have lived Lottie’s life at one point but she didn’t know everything about her. Sure using Tyler for information about her past might have been a little selfish but if it Ash could find anything to make the nightmares cease she’d take it.
“Che, well that explains it you’re from the middle ages no wonder, I haven’t seen you around before” Tyler said mockingly and Ash rolled her eyes. It’s not like she could tell him about Lottie it’d just brand her as a freak... again. “Gotta say you picked up on pool and tats pretty quickly, what were you some sort of specially trained pinkerton trying to track down outlaws?” He said and Ash felt her smirk grow. He might have taken the joke to far but Ash had a retort for it anyways. ”Obviously that’s the answer. Care to guess where I’m hiding my gun?” She teased. She knew there was no place to hide a gun on her unless it was tiny and could fit in cleavage. She highly doubted there were guns like that even built yet. “ I had western obsession when, I was a kid” He said and Ash made a thoughtful face. ”The old west where women were subjected to the hand of man and only wore skirts and dresses. Now in one of those dresses i could hide a weapon anywhere.” she said remembering something from school when she was little. It was a kiddie book but she remembered how the dresses looked on the women.
“Honestly, pretty damn good, you’re not too bad yourself, got that whole mysterious stranger vibe about you” Tyler answered with a sly smile. Ash caught it and smirked. ”Uncovering the mystery is half the fun.” She said. There were a few rumours floating around about her and her tattoos. Most weren’t true but the one where it was about that she had run away, that was true. “Don’t worry, I’ve done a lot worst” Tyler said with a laugh after her mumbled apology. ”Sometimes it’s reflex. I swear I speak Sarcasm as a Second Language.” she said trying to lighten up a bit.
“Trust me, I know just how well those assests can work” he said with Venom and Ash guessed he had some girl problems in his past. ”If she used you, she didn’t deserve you. Girls are complicated but if she took you for granted then you can obviously do better.” Ash said remembering having to give her brother the same speech after his first girlfriend dumped him for some jock. It sounded natural on her lips with no hint of ice, mock or sarcasm anywhere in her voice.
“Don’t worry, I only recently learnt that myself” He said. Ash watched him take his next shot. She was still irked about where the balls were but she didn’t care anymore. She was enjoying herself with someone who didn’t seem to care that she was sarcastic, could be cold, can speak like she was from a different Era without meaning to and could get away with things most girls couldn’t. “Anytime” He said and Ash shot him a look. ”Hopefully not every time.” she muttered to herself.
“Yeeeah, I don’t think he’s gonna take that well” Tyler said nodding to the barman and Ash down her drink before putting the glass down on the table. She looked at the barman smirked then Flipped him off. “C’mon we’ll go out the back” Tyler said and Ash followed close by. Before she exited she turned to the barman and flipped him off again. ”You never had a chance Jackass She yelled at him before exiting out the door Tyler had opened for her. She was out the door and she grabbed Tyler’s arm to keep going in case the barman decided to follow. ”God that was fun, I haven’t done that in a while.” she said meaning yelling at the bartender and flipping him off as well as having a game of pool with someone she didn’t glare at the entire time.
”My cars somewhere over there.” Ash said pointing to where her shitty car sat. ”Want me to drive you home or do you wanna hang out some more?” She asked forgetting about the fact that Tyler was pretty much everywhere in the news and people would be giving him sympathy wherever they went. She didn’t feel like going back to Sky’s house though, she might even end up sleeping in her car just to avoid the question as to why her breathe had the faint scent of Vodka on it.

”Windsor, Canada, Ontario. Not in that exact order.” "So what your typical country town girl wanting to escape?” Tyler asked referring to the stereotype given off by Hollywood, although he had had no idea if it was true he himself rarely thought about how his life was going to turn out. Goth parties? Sounds like a blast but I don’t think all black would look that great on me.” “Trust me you’re already set with the tats, and black would look great on you” Tyler assured her. Tyler was picturing her in some tight latex or cortex and smiled softly. “In fact, I probably got some old ones from an ex that just might fit you” Tyler suggested, remembering a few times the girl had had to climb out the window in a rush, which onl widened his smile.
”I never was the Careful type Tyler.” Tyler was surprised by the reply and grinned wolfishly. “My kinda girl” Tyler said still laughing “Trust me hang around me long enough and carelessness will come to you like breathing.” Tyler was liking this girl more and more every minute. Most of the girls he knew rarely ever actually talked with him atleast usually not for long.
”Obviously that’s the answer. Care to guess where I’m hiding my gun?” Tyler smiled mischievously knowing that there wouldn’t be many places to hide one. “Maybe, I should strip search you” he replied just as teasingly. ”The old west where women were subjected to the hand of man and only wore skirts and dresses. Now in one of those dresses i could hide a weapon anywhere.” Tyler smiled “Note to self if timetravelling to the 1800's, never piss off a girl in a really big dress, check” Tyler made the lame joke with a slight dip of his head on the check.
”Uncovering the mystery is half the fun.” Tyler chuckled a little “Oh, I could think of a lot of other things, I’d like to uncover about you” Tyler replied with a little smirk “I’m guessing that’d be the other half right?” . Tyler wondered briefly if he was being to forward then shrugged she’d tell him off if he was. ”Sometimes it’s reflex. I swear I speak Sarcasm as a Second Language.” Tyler laughed even more “I'm pretty sure, It’s my first, I'm also fluent in jackass and jock”.
”If she used you, she didn’t deserve you. Girls are complicated but if she took you for granted then you can obviously do better.” Tyler felt extremely guilty as she said that feeling like lead balls had dropped into his stomach. Still he let it slide not wanting her to think scratch that know that he was a sleaze ball just yet. As it was he just mumbled something incomprehensible.
Tyler saw out of the corner of his eye Ash finish her drink and flip the guy off. Then as he turned he heard behind him ”You never had a chance Jackass” Tyler did a double take “Jesus you trying to get us into a fight?” Tyler asked around his laughter, as she dragged him along behind her. They stopped when they were a relatively safe, Tyler was pretty sure the guy wasn’t going to leave the bar unattended. ”God that was fun, I haven’t done that in a while.” Tyler smiled and shook his head “Yeah well, I’ve done that too many times” . As he said he realised that was why the barmen had been so pissy while everyone else was giving him sympathy and more free stuff than he wanted, that guy was still sore about Tyler beating him up last month. Get over it dude Tyler thought too himself though neglected too mention the memory surge to Ash.
”My cars somewhere over there.” Tyler looked to where she pointed ”Want me to drive you home or do you wanna hang out some more?”. Tyler smiled, “Sure why not got any place in mind?” Tyler asked about the latter. He himself was running the places in his mind, where people wouldn’t notice him and give him the oh so hated sympathy speech Home, Fells Church, Bridge or Creek none of which were in driving distance. He cursed inwardly.

HOMECOMING, I'M COMING( m y s w e e t m i s t a k e s u m m e r s o v e r h o p e i t s n o t t o o l a t e) "So what your typical country town girl wanting to escape?”[/green] Tyler said and Ash snorted. Country town? Windsor was right across from Detroit. Terrible as stereotypes were Ash couldn’t blame him. At least he didn’t ask if she lived in an igloo and had sled dogs for pets. ”Country? Hardly. I’m a city girl, and I guess you could say I needed an escape. Mt parents didn’t realize I was gone until I was getting off the plane.” she said with more remorse than bitterness in her voice. She ran so they could be safe and wouldn’t have questions if she died from being attacked. She needed to find someplace where she felt safe and in Windsor she felt anything but safe.
“Trust me you’re already set with the tats, and black would look great on you” Tyler assured Ash and a slight smirk rolled onto her lips. At least he didn’t flat out lie that he was checking her out. The tats always drew attention away from the rest of her body. “In fact, I probably got some old ones from an ex that just might fit you” Ash raised an eyebrow but didn’t really comment on that one. Tyler was a football player, of course he had girlfriends and apparently quite a few exes. ”Bring ‘em by when Sky’s not home and I can play dress up for you.” She said. She knew he probably didn’t know Skylor and she hoped he didn’t assume Sky was her boyfriend. She lived in his house, sure, but she felt nothing romantic for him. He saved her from possibly running out of funds and becoming a beggar, or worse a cheap whore sleeping around like Caitlyn did for a place to stay. Ash swore she wouldn’t bring up Caitlyn because she was really an embarrassing life to live. Although thanks to that Ash knew things most girls only learned by looking it up on the internet.
“My kinda girl” Tyler said laughing with a wolfish grin. “Trust me hang around me long enough and carelessness will come to you like breathing.” He said and Ash laughed. Talking with Tyler was easier than talking to most people. Maybe it was because he responded to her sarcastic comments with comments of his own. Either way Ash had finally found a friend, possibly more, in Mystic falls.
“Maybe, I should strip search you” Tyler replied teasingly. Ash laughed and rolled her eyes at Tyler. Flirt was the first thing she thought but for once she didn’t mind. “Note to self if time travelling to the 1800's, never piss off a girl in a really big dress, check” Tyler said and Ash laughed again and shook her head. ”Hell Hath no fury like that of a woman scorned... Anyways you want to find a picture of what I would look like in a really old dress? Look up Charlotte Rose. We look identical.” Ash said not stating the fact that they were pretty much identical and that Ash was Lottie reborn. She’d save that tidbit for when she found a juicy secret of Tyler’s that would make him sound as insane as hers made Ash sound.
“Oh, I could think of a lot of other things, I’d like to uncover about you” Tyler said with a small smirk. Ash tried to look innocent but she only ended up looking provocative. How she managed that Ash would never know. Maybe it was because she never had been a very innocent Child or because of several other factors in her child hood Ash didn’t even want to start guessing. “I’m guessing that’d be the other half right?” Tyler said and Ash laughed and smiled at him. ”You’re gonna have to find that out for yourself.” she said probably prompting something.
“Jesus you trying to get us into a fight?” Tyler asked laughing and Ash laughed along with him. ”I could have taken him. I have my gender to my side. Guys can’t hit girls remember? What a glorious day to be female.” she said teasingly and sarcastically. The bartender wouldn’t have been the first guy she fought off. You’d be surprised at how sometimes she seemed like an easy target for predators but they never did managed to withstand her right hook.
“Sure why not got any place in mind?” Tyler asked and Ash shrugged. ”I don’t know if Sky’s home but I don’t want to deal with his questions about why I’m bringing you back with me and why I smell like a bar and vodka.” she said scowling at that. Skylor acted like the older brother Ash never had yet he had a funny habit of disappearing for days at a time without notice. Ash was alone a lot but she didn’t mind. When Sky was home he could be a royal pain in the ass. ”I was actually planning on sleeping in my car for that very reason... We could always go to the park.” Ash suggested with a shrug. It wasn’t exactly close but Ash didn’t mind, it’s not like she was going back to Sky’s place anyways so what did it matter?
