Her gray eyes squinted as she realized just how bright the sun was this morning. Walking across the street, she stepped through the gate into the park. It was a new day to explore Mystic Falls. Therefore Nathalie chose a new place to explore. She stopped to take a quick look around and decide where she wanted to go. Unfortunately her scanning was interrupted by a large yawn.
Now able to open her eyes, she saw a drink stand up ahead. She continued down the sidewalk. Stepping up the stand she looked to see what they had. “Excuse me, can I get a hazelnut cappuccino please?” She asked. After pulling some money out of her pocket, she placed it on the stand and turned away with her coffee in hand. Bringing it up to her mouth, she sipped the steaming hot liquid, which poured down her throat. It was nice compared to the cold day that had greeted them this autumn.
Deciding it probably wasn't the best idea to walk around with her coffee, she walked over to a bench and sat down. As she sat there, she continued to sip her cappuccino and watch as people walked by. So many people here in Mystic Falls. The only question is, how many of them are actually human? Considering she hadn't met very many vampires, werewolves or other creatures, she was unable to tell what they were just by looking at them. Her curiosity continued to drive her to try and figure out what they were though. Tag: Nikita Outfit: HereNotes:

Nikita loved mornings. She didn't know why but it seemed getting up and being someone she wasn't was nice. Everyone normally just saw her as the jugde, but she was actually a nice person. She wasn't a strict as people said she was. Kita looked out of her window and saw that it was a generally nice day. It was definitely a change. She looked around and noticed they the town was already awake. Kita lived with her student Audrina, she would let her sleep in though. Kita stood up and got dressed. After awhile she moved around the house. Not really being a breakfast person she just grabbed a peice of toast. Whilst munching she made her normal caramel latte.
Once her breakfast was down Kita wrote a note for Audrina, just in case she got up and got worried. The note explained she was going out for a walk for the morning. Kita wasn't sure when she would be back. She put her latte in a synthetic cup, she had plenty of them. She loved buying them so she could have a coffee on the go. Walking out the street the sunshine hit her almost instantly, it was a nice change. She looked around and instantly knew where she wanted to go, she was aiming towards the park, it was a nice little place to sit down and enjoy the veiw around her.
As she reached the park there was a strange scent that hit her. Almost as if she could sense there was someone there that shouldn't be other than herself. No one really knew her secret of what she was, it was the way she wanted to keep it. It was embarrasing enough as it was. She walked into the park and looked normal. She sipped her latte and saw there were no benches spare. She found one where the scent was the strongest, but it was a familliar scent. "Do you mind if I sit here?" She asked carefully towards the woman sitting there.

Nathalie had been looking in the opposite direction and the voice next to her startled her slightly. More the way she asked her question, than the question she actually asked. Lifting her gaze to Nikita she smiled. “Not at all,” she replied scooting over to make room. “I didn't realize the park would be so busy this early in the morning,” Nathalie added as she looked around again. Usually in the cities everyone would be working about this time. It would normally be quiet. Although Nathalie had to admit that it was a nice change of scenery. Mystic Falls was definitely unique.
“I'm Nathalie by the way,” she said turning to the woman and holding out her hand. It was obvious that this woman was older than her. After all Nathalie was still in high school. She hoped to be starting it soon. Although she had to talk with Mason first. She wasn't sure if Mystic Falls was the safest place for her, considering all the vampires Mason had talked about. Yet, he kept company with one.
Taking another sip of her coffee, she closed her eyes. It had been a while she had had coffee. “The coffee here is delicious,” she said, gesturing towards the stand. “It's hard to find good coffee sometimes.” Especially when Nathalie needed a large pick me up from whatever she had done the night before. A majority of the coffee that she had gotten in big cities was never very good. The small towns always had the best. Tag: Nikita Outfit: HereNotes:

The girl she had approached had obviously been looking into the opoosite direction, simply because she was startled when Nikita had spoken to her. She smiled as the woman said it was not a problem. "Thanks. Sorry I didn't mean to startle you" She said with a genuine smile. She hated people thinking she was rude in any way. Kita sat down and sipped at her latte. It had cooled down enough now to drink it, she loved the latte's. The park was buzzing with parents and children, people moved through the park as a short cut to get to work. Kita didn't need to be at work for a long time yet, it was definitely handy. She watched the people go by, it was something she did regually in the morning.
The girl next to her announced her name. Kita turned to look at her and smiled taking her hand and shaking it. "I'm Nikita but everyone called me Kita" She said with a smile. She didn't mind being called her full name but she just preferred the nickname. The girl next to her was obviously younger but she seemed well. She must have been around eighteen at least. Kita averted her eyes and looked around her again. Slowly she listened to the trees and the bushes and the little children screaming that made her want to stuff socks into their mouths. But she would never say that out loud of course.
Nathalie pulled her attention. So they were both coffee people, that was a nice thing. Not everyone liked coffee and it was strange. Kita listened as Nathalie commented on having a good coffee stand here. "Yeah, I used to get mine from over there as well. But someone bought me a really expensive coffee machine this year so I just use that instead. It's just as good" She said with a smile. She took a mouthful of her latte, it was starting to cool down nicely. She thought about coffee's in big cities, it was never the same, here seemed to be the best she had experienced so far.

Nathalie smiled at Nikita as she sat down. “Oh don't worry about it. I was just zoning out. It's a little early for me,” she informed her. That probably sounds odd since I look like a high school student, she realized. Turning away, she rolled her eyes. It had been years since Nathalie had gone to school and never had she gone to school with humans. It would be an interesting experience to say the least. Her mind drifted back to Nikita speaking to her. It was unlike her to not hear someone coming up. Nathalie did lack many of the other werewolf qualities, but she was rather good at hearing.
“It's nice to meet you Kita,” she replied before withdrawing her hand to her coffee cup. Sipping it once more, she let her gaze drift. This feels weird, she thought suddenly. Normally meeting people had been fine, but there was something different. Maybe it's just been a while. After all it had been about two weeks since Nathalie had actually talked to anyone. It had taken her that long to find Mystic Falls. That hadn't left her a lot of time for anything else.
“Oh that must be nice,” she responded to Nikita. Making your own coffee... It must be nice to have a house. Not that her father had made coffee when she was at home anyway. Coffee had a strange affect on the werewolves in their home town. It tended to make them more violent than usual. It had happened to Nathalie when she first tried it. Although sometimes she was okay drinking it. “I bet you save a lot of money making your own coffee in the morning. It always seems so expensive.” That and I don't really have money.

Nikita nodded her head when Nathalie said that she was just zoning out. She thought it was weird that a girl of that age wasn't at school. Surely she was a student though right? Kita didn't really ponder on it simply because it was rude. "Yeah I like to just let my mind wander sometimes. Wish my job let me do it more often" She said with a slighty smile. It was nice to have a face that didn't knew her as the judge, otherwise they start addressing her as such. Audrina just did it out of respect and that was good of her, it was what she expected from her student. She wondered if Audrina was up still, it was strange.
Nathalie said it was nice to meet her and used Kita's nickname, for which she appriciated. There was something off about Nathalie and yet it was oddly farmilliar. Something Kita couldn't quite put her finger on just yet. "I'm guessing your new to town?" She didn't want to seem nosey she was simply curious. Kita had been here for a few weeks and already it was beginning to feel like home. It was something she never thought she could have again. She was happy here and she finally had someone to trust with her secret, Audrina wouldn't tell anyone and vise versa.
Kita thought she had offended the girl next to her because she made her own coffee. Kita shrugged it off though, she wasn't bragging, that wasn't in her nature at all. "I still like to go to the stands everynow and then though. It's good there" She said it with a smile. She wanted to comfort the girl next to her. Nathalie made a remark about the coffee being slighlty expensive. Kita nodded her head. "It's not too bad here though. All depends on where you get it. That stand is really nice" Kita said pointed to where Nathtalie had got her coffee from in the first place.

“It's very calming to not have to worry about anything,” she remarked with a nod, even though she was facing the opposite direction. Although Nathalie turned to look at Kita as she spoke again. “Oh?” she started. “Where do you work?” Most people who weren't at work, normally didn't like to talk about work. Although maybe Kita liked where she worked. Her tone hadn't seemed very annoyed after all.
“Yeah,” Nathalie responded with a weak smile. “Just came to town a few nights ago,” she added. She didn't want to give Nikita too much information about herself. It was very unlike her to do so, not to mention she didn't know how long she would be staying. “I am assuming you have been here a while?” she inquired. Despite not liking to tell information about herself, Nathalie always wanted to know information about others. It made her feel better knowing who people were.
As Kita spoke, Nathalie wasn't quite sure what to say, so she nodded with a soft smile. There was almost nothing she could say about this. She had never had homemade coffee and for her everything was expensive. There was no way for her to carry money around. “Well then I guess I picked the right place to go for coffee this morning,” she finally said. It was all she could muster for right now. Nathalie seemed to agree with Kita on that at least. It was nice to get out and just not have to worry about anything around her. She had a lot of drama going on in her mind at that moment, it was hard to just stop and think about everything around her. She thought about Audrina, that was a lot to take at the moment, although she would do anything for her student. Nathalie turned back and asked where she worked. Kita smiled. "I'm a judge in Mystic Fall's court of law" Kita had always been proud of her job but she wasn't one to brag about it either. She just loved what she did, it was nice to be able to get justice where it was deserved.
Nathalie replied that she hadn't been in town long. Kita had guessed that, not just by the accent but also because she looked like she was slightly out of place. Kita was technically new as well but she was here because this was where her student wanted to complete her work. So here they were. "It's nice here. Different to big cities that's for sure" She said with a slight chuckle. Nathalie asked if Kita had been here for awhile. "A few weeks ago. I haven't been here long but already starting to recognise faces." Nikita said it with a smile. She always remembered a face anyway, it was part of her job.
Kita seemed to notice something different about this girl. She seemed almost guarded. Why would she in a place like this? Where was her family? Kita wondered if she was in school. She nodded at the girls comment and smiled. She had to ask then. "Are you in school?" She was only curious. "Sorry i'm nosey. You don't have to tell me" She said with a smile. She wasn't rude so it wasn't like her to pry. There was just something about her that she couldn't put her finger on.

Although Nathalie smiled when Nikita answered her question, she had to admit it made her a little uneasy. She had never been one for following the law and to have someone who could determine a person's life right before her, was a little nerve racking. “That sounds fun,” she responded with slight enthusiasm, even though she would not want to do anything like that in her life. Then again, she didn't really want to do anything. Nathalie was a free spirit and she wanted to stay that way.
“Yeah, it definitely has that small town feel.” Almost like home, although here she felt she might fit in better. People here didn't know everything about everyone. So far, it seemed like everyone had their own secrets. It was nice. She had plenty of secrets and she liked to keep it that way. When Nikita told her how long she had been here she was surprised. “Oh? I wouldn't have guessed. You seem to accustomed already,” she responded.
Nathalie sipped her cappuccino once more, before looking up at Nikita when she asked her question. “Oh no of course. It's only natural to wonder why someone my age isn't in school right now. It's not prying at all.” She said calmly, even though she had hoped to avoid the subject. “Well I just got here the other day. I hope to be enrolling soon. Ya know, once everything gets settled.” As usual, Nathalie tried to keep it vague. Tag: Nikita Outfit: HereNotes:
