* SUMMER GRACE HARPER !
Do you know how it feels to be afraid?
Lying there frozen with my eyes wide open
And do you know how it feels to find a trace
Of words unspoken with my eyes wide open?
full name: Summer Grace Harper
nicknames: None at the moment
date of birth: September 23, 1993
date of change: ONLY FILL OUT IF VAMPIRE!
hometown: Mystic Falls, Virginia
species: Human - Psychic
abilities: She gets premonitions when she is asleep, but it takes a lot out of her when she wakes up. She has to eat a good, hearty meal and take vitamins to keep her strength up. She isn't aware that she is a psychic. She thinks that the dreams she has are just that, dreams.
height: 5'7" tall
weight: slim, about 130 pounds maybe
hair: long, wavy, blonde
eyes: green
play by: Kaley Cuoco
likes: horseback riding, kickboxing, listening to music, dancing, reading, animals, children, fashion, magazines, swimming, and watching tv.
dislikes: not being able to find something that she really needs, mean people, liars, when the internet is slow on her laptop, seeing a person or animal in pain or in danger, when her premonitions turn scary, not knowing what's going on with her and her dreams.
strengths: Being fit, kind-hearted, getting to the bottom of things pretty quickly most of the time, her family, her friends, and her premonitions.
weaknesses: her premonitions, her family, her friends, not knowing about the supernatural world, not knowing if a person is her friend or foe, and sometimes getting caught up in something she shouldn't be in.
fears: finding out that the things she sees at night are real, losing her family and friends, and dying a slow and painful death.
secrets: She keeps the things she sees in her dreams/premonitions a secret.
personality: Towards those she loves, Summer can be very caring, loving, sweet, and sometimes extremely protective of them. She doesn't like to see them in pain or in danger. She would do anything to keep them safe, even risk her own life. She also can be very playful when she allows herself to be.
Towards people she doesn't trust or doesn't know very well, she can get very quiet, because she doesn't want to say something that she would regret later on. She also doesn't trust them very well and it takes a lot for a person to win her trust back after they did something she didn't like.
She hasn't really had a boyfriend before. She does go out on a date every now and then. When she finds that special guy, she will probably open up to him about what she is going through. She will also be very loving and would love to go dancing with him, either it be those very slow, romantic dances or the more upbeat ones. It doesn't really matter to her.
When it comes to her premonitions she gets at night, she is afraid of them. She is afraid to sleep even. She sees this ability as a curse more than as a gift. She doesn't know that she is a psychic or that her father was a warlock or that her half-sister is a witch. She doesn't know anything about them or that she even has a half-sister. Because of this, she feels like the outsider, the freak. She doesn't know where to turn to most of the time. In the meanwhile, though, her subconscious knows about the people that she is connected to. It will let her know when the time is right.
When the time comes that she finally meets Symone, she will be shocked that she has a half-sister she never knew about, but also will feel relieved that she has someone to talk to about what she is going through. She won't know for sure right away if she will side with the Salvatore brothers and Elena Gilbert or is she will side with Katherine Pierce. It will just take time for her to see who she can trust completely. She does know that she will stand by her mom and Symone no matter what.
mother: Clary Harper, 44 years old
father: Francis Warren, deceased
siblings: Symone Warren, half-sister
other family: none that she is close to.
other important people: none at the moment.
history: A year and a half before Symone Warren was born; Francis Warren met a mortal woman named Clary Harper while he was away on a business trip. At first, their relationship was just of the friendship kind. They would go out to eat together, go bowling, and just talk. Then one night, after they had one too many drinks of alcohol, they slept together. The next day, Francis went back to his life and most likely forgot about Clary and the night they shared together.
This wasn't the case for Clary, however. A month after she said goodbye to Francis, she found out that she was pregnant with his child. She sort of freaked out, but eventually came to terms with the situation. Eight months after she found out she was pregnant; she gave birth to a healthy baby girl which she named Summer Grace Harper.
For the first seven years of her life, Summer didn't mind not knowing who her father was. She was happy with being with her mom in Phoenix, Arizona. Then, her teacher asked her and the rest of the class she was in to make a family tree. She knew most of the people on her mother's side of the family, but she didn't know anything about her father's side. So, she went to her mom with hopes that she would fill her in about her mysterious father. Clary told her that her father had to go away before he found out about her and that she didn't know where he was now or how she could get in contact with him. Summer was slightly disappointed that she wouldn't be able to find her father yet, but she vowed that she would find him sooner or later.
A few months before she turned thirteen, Summer had her first premonition. It was of her younger sister, Symone Warren, being almost burned at the stake, escaping, running through the forest, and, finally, Katherine talking to the young girl. She hadn't realized who or what the people in her dream were, because she never seen them before. She did, however, feel a strong connection with Symone. Immediately after she woke up the following morning, she wrote down the dream. That was the beginning of the premonitions and the start of her dream journal.
Years passed and Summer soon became afraid of the things she saw in her dreams/premonitions. She would often see people dying at the hands of fanged creatures, people turning into wolves under a full moon, and many other things. She eventually told her mom and Clary suggested a change of scenery. That was how they decided that moving to Mystic Falls, Virginia, would be good for the two of them. A couple of weeks ago, around the time Katherine Pierce arrived back in town, Summer and Clary Harper moved into their new home. Since that day, her premonitions have gotten even worse and she has started to feel weak. Knowing she had to do something about how she felt, she started to take vitamins and eat a hearty breakfast so that it would give her strength for the rest of the day. She doesn't know anything about her father's side of the family nor does she know anything about the supernatural beings residing in this small town, but she will soon.

role play sample:
It had been an hour or two since Summer Harper said goodnight to her mom, changed into her pajamas, and got settled into bed. She wasn't asleep, though. Instead, she was wide awake and staring at the wall beneath her window. Thoughts of what she might see in her dreams began to race through her mind a mile a minute. Fear was running through her as well as she thought about what she saw the previous night, but quickly pushed it to the back of her mind as she turned over onto her other side.
More time passed and she found her green eyes growing heavy and the muscles in her body relaxing. A part of her knew that sleep was fast approaching and that there was no way to stop it. Before she even realized it, Summer's eyes closed and sleep took over her mind and body. The last thing she thought before she went completely unconscious was, Oh, no, it's gonna happen again.
She wasn't sure how long it took for the REM phase of sleep to enter her mind, it just did. When she entered it, she began to dream of a forest. In the dream, night had fallen and the trees around her looked dark and scary. It was slightly windy and she felt the cold breeze on her bare skin. When she looked up at the massive sky overhead, she saw dark gray clouds moving slowly over a whitish yellow moon. When she looked down at her bare feet, she saw dark green grass and leaves in various colors.
As she looked around, Summer suddenly heard twigs snapping in the distance. It was as if someone was walking towards her while trying to be quiet, but wasn't doing a very good job at it. As fear continued to run through her, this time worse, she found herself running as fast as she could. Every once in a while, she would look behind her to see if the person was still following her. She didn't see anyone, but didn't stop or even slow down. Facing forward again, she continued to run. She had to get out of this situation and fast. In the back of her mind, she knew that this was just a dream, that it wasn't real, but she was still scared out of her mind.
