Stefan's eyes flickered as Anna said that he had a right to be pissed and that she was pissed for him, as well as confused as they didn't have anything to hide. Thank goodness she gets it. I mean come on, I probably seemed like a fledgling, he thought to himself. And that was the last thing they needed: his emotion taking over his common sense. That was almost as bad as him shutting everything off. He never made good decisions when his emotions were all over the place, which was why he usually relied on Lexi to make sure he didn't spiral. But Lexi's not here anymore, he reminded himself. "Guess I'll never know," he said with a shrug. It sucked but he guessed he'd deal with it.
He smirked as his companion said that she had never seen him drunk before. "Well you just might tonight," he told her. "Just don't let me do anything too stupid or crazy," he requested. Like getting drunk on the Statue of Liberty. That hadn't been one of his finer moments and he wasn't exactly looking to repeat the experience. But he supposed he'd just have to wait and see what would happen. It wasn't like he was in a position to question her.
At her request to remind her to kick their victim out in the morning, Stefan blinked. "Damn. I forgot that he was even here," he admitted. "Yeah, I'll remind you," he assured. The last thing they needed was attention drawn to them because of a stupid human. When she asked if she should call room service, he nodded. "Yeah that sounds good. We should probably get some more scotch and jack daniels as well. Just...not too much rum. I'm not real fond of it," he requested. How could be when it had been his father's preferred choice? But Anna seemed to like it, so instead of asking her outright not to order more, he had chosen to ask her to cut down the order. That shouldn't raise any suspicions, right?

"No stupidity, but I'm not promising no crazy. Depends on how fun drunk Stefan is." Her grin widened as she walked across the room to where the hotel phone was sitting on a mirrored table.
She ordered 3 more bottles each of scotch and whiskey, knowing well enough that vampires could drink any human under the table. She still felt a little of the blood in her system, although she wouldn't mind sharing again. Who would?
"So what do you have in mind for the rest of our night?" She asked. Gentleman's choice, she decided. She had been making most of the calls anyways and since he was the one with boundaries, it was most likely safer this way.
OOC: sorry if this is short. I'm on my phone and I can't really tell!

Stefan rolled his eyes and shook his head as Anna said that she'd keep him from doing something stupid but couldn't promise to keep him from doing something crazy as it would depend on how fun drunk Stefan was. Oh, great. She sounds way too excited about that, he thought to himself. Then again, maybe he was just paranoid. "You sound just like Lexi," he muttered. And she really did. The blonde-haired vampire was always trying to get him to have a good time. Of course, with them, that usually consisted of him getting drunk as a skunk and then doing something completely stupid which caused his friend vasts amounts of mirth at his expense. And this time, he'd like to avoid that if it was possible, thank you very much. Then again, he didn't really let his guard down with a lot of people---or vampires for that matter---so the fact that he was comfortable enough to risk getting drunk with Anna had to mean something...right? Well, not anything romantic, but it certainly said a lot for the new friendship they were forming.
He then turned his attention to a small radio/alarm clock and started flipping through the FM stations as the girl got on the phone and ordered more alcohol. When he didn't find what he was looking for, he tried the AM stations, which to his annoyance didn't have what he was looking for. Without a word, he just switched off the radio and then in an instant was making himself comfortable on the couch. I can't believe I couldn't find a decent rock station, he thought to himself. Oh well. He supposed that they didn't need one. It wasn't like he planned on getting that drunk, just a little drunk. It was like he had told Elena: drunk Stefan didn't need to be begged to dance, he just did it. Of course, he didn't usually plan on getting drunk anyway. It just always seemed to happen, though Stefan had a feeling Lexi had played a big part in him getting drunk. And he was drifting again. Great. Anna would love that.
When she asked him what he had planned for the rest of the night, he grinned. "I thought we could get drunk and have the fun that you meant for us to have before I let everything get all serious," he responded. Hey, it was the least he could do when she had let him rant and rave about the fact that he didn't remember anything from the twenties. Before he could say anymore, there was a knock at the door. "Room service. We brought up your wine," a man called. Instantly, Stefan was on his feet and at the door, which he opened to let the guy in. The man put the ordered wine on the table before turning to them. "You kids aren't old enough to be drinking. Are your---" The man's voice died off as Stefan grabbed him, making sure that they were in direct eye contact. "You won't say a word. You won't even remember fulfilling this order after you leave the room," he said, letting his pupils dilate. Of course, he had no idea if he was strong enough for the compulsion to go through, but it was worth a shot. To his relief, the man nodded and then left the room. Okay, now to get good and drunk, he thought to himself as he grabbed one of the bottles, opened it, and then brought it to where their glasses were and poured the drinks. Hey, don't let it be said that he wasn't still a gentleman.

Anna let out a laugh as he compared her to Lexi. She definitely had mixed feelings at his words, but decided to take it as a compliment and let it go. Like the younger blonde vampire, Anna really did want to help Stefan, but she couldn't deny that she had alterior motives, as well.
Anna needed to get out of Mystic Falls for a while, and she didn't trust herself to keep her humanity on if she went alone. She needed Stefan to keep her in line just as much as he needed her, which probably wasn't the smartest way to go about things. Two lost souls trying to accomplish what they were could be dangerous. Sounds good to me. She shrugged at his suggestion. Fun was just what she needed. She smirked as he reached the door and effortlessly compelled the young man with the alcohol. Anna could hear his heartbeat from here and a part of her wanted to feed. The sensible part told her if Stefan was willing to compell him away then it showed serious control and she should let him leave. She was trying to be a good example, not a bad one. She swiped up a glass that he had just poured and took a long drink. It definitely helped. She could still hear his heartbeat, along with the heartbeat of the sleeping boy they had almost killed. She watched Stefan closely, admiring his control, or at least how well he was hiding it. She assumed that was how his life had been led for years, hiding everything he had truly felt, all the bloodlust. How he was able to handle a relationship living like this was beyond her realm of thought. She would never be able to do it. When Jeremy had found out, or had tricked her into showing him, rather, it had been such a relief. He had let her drink from him, and even though he was human and she knew for a fact it was hurting him, it was the trust he had in her that had effected her the way it had. It was one of the many reasons she still loved him. It hurt her that he might not feel the same. She envied Stefan. What he had to live with was tough, and him and Damon repeating history hadn't made it any easier, but he had made it work. He was trying. He hadn't given up. Stefan smiled at Anna as she laughed at his words. He got the feeling that she wasn't quite sure how to take his comment even though it had been a compliment. Well, for the most part. HE didn't much care for Lexi's penchant for having a laugh at his expense, but she had been one of his oldest friends so he hadn't minded it too much. After all, it was what friends were for: to annoy you and to laugh at you as well as stand by you.
When he mentioned getting drunk and having fun, he saw her smile as she approved of the idea, which the younger vampire had to admit was sounding better and better to him. He was needing to unwind a little. And he couldn't do that back in Mystic Falls. But before they could do that, he had to compel the room service guy to give them their alcohol and then leave. To his relief, his compulsion worked and a few moments later, the man left, leaving the vampires to their own devices.
After he poured Anna's drink and handed her the glass, he poured himself a drink and then took a swig. Yeah, that was better. It was just what he needed. Not that he was a lush by any means, but sometimes a guy just needed a drink. And besides, how often did he have the opportunity to just kick back like this without someone thinking he was fighting the cravings? Well, he usually was, but that was besides the point.
After finishing the drink, he poured himself another and slowly drank it. Yeah, he preferred scotch and jack daniels to anything else, except maybe bourbon. The older the better. But he didn't have to rush things. It wasn't like he was looking to forget anything except maybe the bloodlust that had taken over for a bit. It was okay though. He was fine. He hadn't actually killed anyone, which was always a plus. Okay, he was so not thinking about that right now. He was here in New York and he was getting drunk. Things were good. He finished his glass and poured himself another. Yup, he was gonna reach drunk status pretty soon at this rate...

She watched him down three glasses in a row and almost matched his pace. The heartbeat in the next room seemed to be getting louder, but as she drank more and more, it quieted somewhat. She was thankful.
Anna leaned back, after pouring what was her fourth glass, and downed it. She closed her eyes for a moment and a couple faces swam in front of her. All boys she had once cared about or still did. And now Stefan was in the mix. It should have confused her, but it didn't, not in her current state. It made sense. They were closer here in this hotel suite in New York than she ever thought possible. Even with the knowledge she had about their time together in the 20's, she never thought they would actually be close.
In the 20's it was sexual tension, now it was more emotional intimacy than anything. He was letting her see his weaknesses, opening up to her...not that she was doing the same. It was hard for her. She didn't know how to put into words her own personal frustration. When she was in Paris, she had turned her humanity off, she had to in order to survive. Now that she had returned, it was all up to him. She would understand if he hated her, but it was so terrifying. She had no idea how not to fall back in to the way she was living if that happened. Especially with Stefan involved now.
She leaned forward and poured herself another glass. After downing that one, she had all but silenced her bloodlust. Can we just stay in this suite forever? She asked, hearing how the alcohol was effecting her in her voice. Good. She thought to herself. She needed a good drunken fun night. She scrolled through her phone and found some good old rock music and slid it onto the table. Abandoning the glass for her own bottle, she stood up and started dancing. You drunk enough for this, yet? Cause I am. She smirked, offering her hand out to him. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan was on his fourth glass when he saw Anna on her phone, looking through something. "You're not bored of me already, are you?" he asked with some amusement and then finished the glass. We can't have that. The night hasn't even started, he thought to himself. And the glass of drinks wasn't helping. Well, it was helping, but he was tired of using the glass. With that, he took the bottle he had been draining and raised it to his lips. Yeah, that was better.
When she asked if they could stay in the suite forever, he let out a short laugh. "That would be nice, wouldn't it?" he asked, taking another swig. "No drama, no crazy Sires or brothers bent on making sure the rest of your life is miserable to worry about, no bloodlust..." his voice trailed off and he took another drink. Sometimes he wondered what the point was in trying to be normal. Trouble just seemed to find him. Okay granted, it was usually in the form of Damon, but...
He let out a noise of surprise as classic rock suddenly filled the room. "Thank God. You found something decent," he said as he took a quick drink and then laughed as she asked if he was drunk enough to dance yet, holding out a hand. "I think it's close enough," he answered, walking over to her and going to take her hand even as he took another drink and started moving his body to the beat. Yup, he was getting good and drunk just like he planned.

No boys to potentially break your heart. She thought to herself as she turned up the music. There's this crazy new thing called the internet. It helps when the radio sucks. She joked. When he took her up on her offer to dance, she laughed before tipping her own bottle up in the air. God, letting loose felt good. Hmm, no, that wasn't right. Letting loose without going on a killing spree felt good. She had let loose in Paris, she had let loose in the early 1900's...we all knew where that got her. This was the first time since she started dating Jeremy that she was having actual fun with no agenda whatsoever. She started dancing with him, her body buzzing from her alcohol intake. All her worries about Jeremy and her future started melting away. She sat the bottle down on the table and stumbled a little, catching herself on Stefans chest. Oops. She said, cracking up. Well, at least she didn't drop the bottle. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

When Anna said that there was a crazy new thing called the internet which helped when the radio sucked, Stefan gave her a mock glare. "Har-de-har-har," he deadpanned. Yes, he knew quite well what the internet was for and he was actually pretty good at using it, but he hadn't seen the need to introduce it into the Boarding House. And as far as he knew, Damon shared his sentiment, but hey, he could be wrong. But still, maybe they should get a computer and a television set as it'd help them to blend in better. Or sure, there was the computer and tv set that Zach had had, but Stefan felt guilty using those, though he probably shouldn't.
These thoughts faded away as he found himself getting lost in the music. Damn, he had needed this. Back in Mystic Falls, he always felt like he was on edge having to keep himself under control so that he didn't screw up and attack someone and get hooked on the blood again or defending his feeding choices to Damon. Damon would never understand how hard it actually was for him. He thought it was so easy to just snatch, eat, and erase, and maybe it was for him, but it wasn't for the younger vampire.
He took a drink from his bottle and watched as the other vampire set her bottle on the table and then stumbled a bit, colliding with Stefan, the momentum causing him to drop his own bottle. "Oops is right," he smirked at her comment. "How is that you're apparently drunker than I am?" he wondered. It weird. That was for sure. Oh, well. He supposed it didn't really matter as long as they continued to have a good time. Which they most certainly were. Classic rock and all the alcohol they could want. What could be better?

She rolled her eyes as she steadied herself. Not that you would have noticed, but the majority of the night my liquid diet consisted of a bit more alcohol than yours. She stuck her tongue out. She wasn't starved, but she had definitely drank much less blood than Stefan had. This was his little training siminar afterall, she wasn't going to interupt it if she could help it, so she had been taking care of the alcohol they were originally supplied. He had been too busy toying with the idiot they had brought home to notice. Alcohol curbed the bloodlust, but they only stayed sober when they had been drinking blood at a steady pace. He had just about drained a guy. She, on the other hand, hadn't had a good amount of blood in her system since that bitch witch, Bonnie, had spilled her stolen supply. The amount she had in New York was the most she had since returning to Mystic Falls and it was affecting her more than she thought it would. She had never gone this long without a full meal, but she wasn't about to ask to start feeding now. Besides, I thought getting drunk was the point. So far, I'm winning. She laughed as she picked up her bottle again. As long as she was drinking...and didn't do something stupid...she was fine. Keep the conversations away from Jeremy, away from blood, away from feelings, and she would do just fine. Right? NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

After his comment, Stefan had the grace to look embarrassed as Anna reminded him that her diet had been more alcoholic than he had. "Right," he said as she stuck her tongue out at him. Idiot! Of course she's drunker than you, she's had to curb her cravings so she could make sure you didn't go psycho on everyone! he berated himself. "I don't know what I was thinking," he said. He wasn't even sure he had been thinking. He was the one who had needed to learn control. Which he obviously hadn't.
He then laughed as she she said that the point had been to get drunk which meant that she was winning. "True. True," he agreed, taking another swig from the bottle. Yes, Anna was fast on her way to getting drunk and he was hoping he reach there soon. He didn't want to think about how he had failed in getting himself under control. He just wanted to have a some fun. Yes, fun was what he needed.
The song ended and another one started, resulting in a grin curving on Stefan's features as he recognized the song.
There's something happening here But what it is ain't exactly clear There's a man with a gun over there Telling me I got to beware
"I think it's time we stop, Children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down," he sang, starting to sway to the music. I love Buffalo Springfield, he thought to himself. Soon, he was immersed in the song as he continued singing the lyrics as well as drinking from the bottle he had picked up. Within several seconds, the bottle was completely drained and he started on his second one. Now this was more like it. He was having fun, not worrying about anything, life was good...

Stop it with that guilty look. It's fine. I promise. She said, seeing his reaction to her words. While she could certainly be better off, she wasn't allowing a pity party to start tonight. She was too bound and determined to have fun. Fun with Stefan Salvatore. She hadn't thought that would happen anytime in the next century, but here they were getting drunk at the Plaza. She definitely wasn't going to complain. She continued dancing around the room as she, too, finished her bottle of booze. She never had learned when to quit, so she grabbed another and continued on her little drinking binge. When he started singing, she whirled around and raised her eyebrows. Stefan Salvatore, the singer. You sure you aren't drunk? She gave him a teasing grin. She had never seen him let loose, not like this. She'd seen dark Stefan, brooding Stefan, humanity-off Stefan, in-love Stefan (a couple times), reasonable Stefan, pissed off Stefan and a whole slew of other adjectives...but she had never seen him in such a care free mood. He had such a talent for being overly concerned for everyone else, it was nice to see him not worrying for once. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan nodded as Anna told him to stop with the guilty look, promising that she was fine. "If you say so," he murmured. He hated the fact that he was responsible for her not being at her best, but really, what was he supposed to do? He didn't like the idea of someone being weak because of him and Anna had had to drink more because she was trying to help him. How could he not feel guilty when he was the one who had caused her to need to drink in excess? And how could he have forgotten that so soon? That was stupid, Stefan, he chided himself. He really needed to start using his head more.
He then laughed as she commented on him singing and then asked if he was sure that he wasn't drunk. "Well, maybe I'm a llittle drunk," he admitted. And at least it was the fun drunk. Morose drunk was just boring. And he had a feeling that she wouldn't want to deal with morose and boring Stefan. And besides, "For What It's Worth" was a good song. And he didn't always get a chance to relax like this. He raised the bottle to his lips again and continued to sway in time with the music.
A new song---The Boys Are Back In Town---started and he once more began swaying to the music as he drank from his bottle and sang along. Yeah, this was good. He could always lose himself in a song. And besides, it wasn't just anyone who got to see him this. In fact, Lexi was the only one who had gotten to see this side of him. And now he was showing it to Anna. Why he was trusting her this much, he had no idea, but he wasn't going to question it. Lexi had always told him that he needed to trust people more and he was doing what she had advised him to do: trust. He didn't let his guard down like this with people he didn't trust.

She rolled her eyes as he clearly did not stop worrying. Seriously, Salvatore. Get over yourself. I'm not dying over here, just thirsty. And the bottles of alcohol I plan on consuming will help with that. She smiled cheekily. She wasn't important right now. And the alcohol was helping quite a bit. She was already half way through her second bottle and feeling it. Ya think? She smirked as he continued to dance around the room with her. She could hear the alcohols effect on her voice, but she was trying fairly hard to conceal it. I never would have guessed this would be where we'd end up. She mused, more to herself than anything. Seriously, though, if you would have told her when she first met Stefan and his brother that Damon would one day save her life and Stefan would be the closest thing she had to a friend, she probably would have just snapped your neck and been done with it. Who would have seen this coming? Surely no one back in Mystic Falls knew what was really going on here. Elena would have a fit, and she wasn't sure how Damon would react. He probably would have had the suite filled with hot college girls, all half drained of blood and wasted. And Jeremy? Would he care? Was he even worried about her? Was he happy she was gone again? Stefan watched as Anna rolled her eyes, telling him to get over himself as it wasn't as if she was dying just thirsty and that the amount of alcohol that she planned to drink would take care of that. "Good. And if you find that you need blood, go ahead, take what you need," he told her. He wasn't going to have her starving just because he was. But he wasn't going to worry about that right now. Right now, he was just going to get drunk. Because that was what this whole night was about: getting drunk and having fun.
He laughed at her retort when he admitted to being a little drunk. "Well, what can I say? It's been a while since I've let myself go," he commented and then quickly finished off the bottle before opening another and starting on it. He then continued dancing as the music on Anna's i-pod continued. Yes, this was good. He could forget all the crap that had been happening lately and just relax. It was what he needed.
When she said that she never would've guessed that they'd be there, Stefan chuckled. "You mean getting drunk in New York?" he asked. "Yeah me either," he agreed. "Of course, I never expected to become a vampire either. I figured I'd grow up, run the plantation, have a family, grow old,l die...you know, the human thing. It's what I always wanted. Instead I made a mistake and gave in to the bloodlust. Oh, well. Que sera as they say," he said and then downed a large portion of the liquor. It was all he needed. All he needed was liquor so that he could just have a good time. It was all he needed for the night.
He once more raised the bottle to his lips as he continued to move in time with the music. He knew that he should probably pace himself, but to be perfectly honest, he didn't want to. He didn't care if he got drunk too soon. It was what they had set out to do and he was going to accomplish it. He took another long drink and then blurred onto the pull-out couch and started dancing on it. Yes! This was much better. He was getting lost in the music and just having a good time. Man, he hadn't felt this good since...well, since the last time Lexi had visited. Lexi just knew how to get him to relax and have a good time, which was a plus when you knew someone for over a hundred years. They knew what to say and do to get you to just let everything go. It was a good feeling and he was going to run with it. Yeah, this had definitely been a good idea...
OOC I've been in some hotel rooms and they've had pull-out couches, so that's where that came from.

She hesitated as he told her blood was hers for the taking. Was he serious? She hadn't expected him to be up for bloodsharing after she told him the whole story, but it would definitely make things easier for her. She turned the bottle upside down and finished it off in one go.
She was already there, she didn't have a need for blood, necessarily. At this point, it would just be for the pleasure, which she definitely wasn't opposed to. She smiled at Stefan as she opened another bottle, listening to him talk about what his life would have been like.
You're lucky, you know. She blurted out. I mean, that you have some family, a brother. My siblings died the day I turned. Same with my father. I was late to the party. She remembered bitterly, too drunk to filter her own thoughts. My mother was planning on running away with the vampire that killed them, but she didn't know he was going to drain them first. When she saw what he had done, she begged him to turn me. I didn't get much of a choice either. She had told no one of the day she had been turned. She refused to speak of it. No one ever questioned her about it and her mother, having been left by the vampire not long after that night, never spoke of it again. They went for countless years pretending as if they were normal, acting so well to fool the humans around them that they almost started believing it themselves. Then they would have to move again and it would all come back to her. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

From the expression on Anna's face, Stefan could tell that she was surprised at his offer. And to be honest, he couldn't exactly blame her. She had told him what bloodsharing meant and about their hookup in the twenties, and here was he was offering it even though he didn't remember anything. "Well, you're no good to either of us if you keel over from lack of blood and I figure you'll probably need it as the night goes on," he answered with a shrug. Okay, maybe that was a bit cold, but it wasn't like they were lovers or anything. He was just a friend helping out another friend.
Realizing that she had started talking, he focused his attention on her as she said that he was lucky to have his brother as she had lost her father and siblings had been killed the day she had turned, admitting that her mother had been planning on running away with the vampire that had turned them not knowing what he had been planning and had begged him to turn her, which meant that she hadn't had much of a choice either. "I'm not that lucky. Because of my selfishness, my brother has promised me an eternity of misery. Not that I blame him of course. He wouldn't even be a vampire if it wasn't for me," he said and then took a long drink from his bottle. And that's what hurt him the most: the knowledge that he had condemned his own brother to an existence that he hadn't even wanted. No wonder he had told him that he'd make the rest of his life miserable.
He then gave himself a mental shake as he took another drink. He didn't want to start thinking about that. But it seemed that it was too late. The mention of family had made him think of when he was human. "When were kids, Damon and I were inseparable. I totally idolized him. And how could I not? He was my older brother," he reminisced. "But I had to ruin it. Just like always. Everyone calls me the "Good brother" and Damon the "Evil brother". But if they knew about what I did in eighteen sixty-four, those labels would definitely be swapped," he added with a shrug as he took another drink. Then, he made a noise of disappointment when he realized that he had finished off the bottle sooner than he had intended. However, this was quickly remedied as he went to where the bottles were, grabbed one, opened it, and then took a drink. And now he needed to get lost in the music even more. There was no way he was going to dwell on the little pity-party he had just thrown.

Anna shrugged in agreement when he said she was no good to them unconscious. He had a point, and it only proved to her moreso that she was the one not thinking logically. Wasn't that her job on this "mission"? Oh well. She couldn't help that her mind was wondering. She wanted blood.
In answer to that feeling, she opened a third bottle. Trust me when I say this, you are lucky. Damon, no matter how long he can hold a grudge, loves you. You're his bother. And don't forget that I knew you in 1864. I saw everything that went on from Katherines point of view and even though somehow you keep repeating history with this string of doppelgangers, I still see what I saw before you even knew about vampires. She wasn't sure if she was crossing a line, but she didn't want him worrying about Damon right now. Anna watched him as he grabbed another bottle, clearly wanting the conversation to end. What he needed was a distraction...and with his previous offer, she knew just what would do it. She blurred over to him, now less than a foot away. Do you mind? She asked with a small smile, taking hold of his wrist gently. NOTES || sorry this took so long! nanowrimo is kicking my ass. Stefan fell silent as Anna said that he was lucky because even though Damon could hold a grudge for a long time, he loved him and that he was his brother. "That bond was severed the moment I decided to trust Father," he responded, his eyes clouding in pain at the remembrance. Yes, he had taken a chance with Father regarding Katherine and that had been his and Damon's undoing. Damon was right to hate him. He had betrayed them---and for what? The man who had done nothing but to bring misery to the younger boy? How could he have been so stupid? He should've just left well enough alone. But he hadn't. And because of that, he had lost his brother. There had been a time when he had thought that maybe he could get him back, but after he had killed Lexi, he had given up all hope of that happening. Of course, it didn't mean that he wouldn't do everything in his power to protect his brother.
When she reminded him that she had known him in eighteen sixty-four, seeing everything from Katherine's point of view and that they seemed to be repeating history for them with Elena, Stefan's eyes clouded. "That's different though. Elena's not trying to play us off one another. Not like Katherine did," he objected. But he could see how Anna---or anyone else from back then---could make the correlation between the events. "And what did you see before I even knew what Katherine was? A boy who got infatuated with a pretty face?" he asked, his voice tinged with slight bitterness. Yeah, that was one thing he was never going to forgive himself for: being enticed by Katherine when he would've been better off with some other girl in town.
Before he knew what was happening, she had blurred over and grabbed his wrist, asking if he minded and he shook his head. "Go ahead," he told her. If she was needing the blood, he wanted her to feel free to just take it. They were friends after all. At least, they were becoming friends. Stefan took another drink and let the alcohol burn his throat.

Anna smiled softly when he asked her what she saw when he was with Katherine. No, honey, that was Damon. She said with a smirk. The only reason you got pulled into all of that was because she actually liked you and couldn't let it go. You were being compelled to protect her. Katherine might be twisted, but you were the stronger of the two, most definitely. I respected you. She admitted. I think that's what made Damon most angry. That it was you she wanted the entire time. He was the toy. It was only a matter of time before his jealousy shined through, and you turning around and getting Elena didn't help the situation. She didn't know how much he knew about what really was happening in her little love triangle, but she figured now was as good a time as any to find out. He deserved to know the truth. Katherine was insane for doing what she did to those boys. When Stefan agreed to let her have a taste, she felt a twinge of guilt knowing it was probably just because he thought she needed it to stay upright, and while that might be a small part of it, she really just wanted the taste. THe alcohol had helped a lot but nothing could compare to the feeling of bloodsharing. She smiled as he continued to drink as she took his wrist and sunk her fangs in deep. She fed hungrily, the intensity coming back full force from their earlier bloodsharing session. It was as if she physically needed him in that moment. She savored the warm liquid as it filled up her mouth and throat, knowing he would be fine because of how much he had recently drank himself. This was what she really needed. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. His eyes clouded even more when she corrected him, saying that it was Damon who had gotten pulled in, adding that she actually liked him and wouldn't let it go and that he had been compelled to protect her. "So it was as I thought: I was just another pawn to her. Story of my life," he commented. First he was used by father and then he was used by Katherine. Yep, that sounded about right.
When she said that while Katherine was twisted, he had been the stronger one and she had respected him for it, he shook his head. "I wasn't that strong, Anna. I was just trapped. No one saw it though. They were too enamored with my father," he said and took a long drink to keep himself from saying anything more. And this was why he didn't usually get drunk with other people around. He usually started talking about things that he wouldn't admit to while sober.
He then raised an eyebrow as she continued on, saying that Damon had been the toy and that she had wanted him the entire time, and that it had only been a matter of time before his jealousy would've shone through and that it didn't help matters that he had turned around and had gotten Elena. "I didn't ask either of them to fall for me. And I didn't expect them to. I'm not that guy," he said and took another drink. He wasn't a good guy. Not if you went by what he had done after he had turned. Damon had been the good one. But no one seemed to realize that.
His grip tightened on the bottle slightly as she fed from him hungrily and then relaxed. She needed this. She hadn't gotten a chance to properly feed because he had lost it and he wasn't going to worry about the slight pain he had felt at the first tear of skin. Besides, it was actually starting to feel kinda intoxicating. Well, more than kind of intoxicating. Watching her feed from him was pretty hot and he could feel something stir within him. Or maybe that was just the liquor talking...

She furrowed her brow, confused at his statement. I'm not talking about your father, Stefan, I'm talking about with Katherine. Up until that point, I don't think she had ever been denied before. You stood up for yourself, and because she thought she could get as many do-overs as she wanted, she just kept compelling you to forget. You never waivered unless she was compelling you to not know. She tried to explain it in a way that he would understand. And I'm not saying Elena and you is something you did on purpose, but it still hurt Damon, all the same. I know you're not like that, but he can't see it that way. To him, you won...again. She said softly. She knew if it came down to it, Damon would protect Stefan at any cost. It was a 'I can mess with him, but you sure as hell can't' type dynamic. Now that she was feeding, she could feel him relax more and more into it, which made her smile. She was being greedy and she knew it. She couldn't help it. His blood was so good. She shut her eyes as she drank more, the rush making her head buzz even more than the alcohol had achieved already. She was miles high and didn't want to come down anytime soon. Up here she wasn't worried about anything. She was just enjoying one of the many perks of being a vampire. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan saw Anna's brow furrow in confusion at his statement saying that she hadn't been talking about his father but Katherine who hadn't been denied until she had met him and had just compelled him over and over to make him more agreeable. I.E., she had screwed with his head just to get her jollies. Of course it made perfect sense considering the source, but it didn't make him any less mad about the situation. "Hence one of the reasons I don't like using compulsion," he responded bitterly as he took a drink. It was just another way his head had been screwed with and he wasn't going to subject somebody else to it. At least, not while he had his humanity on. When he had first turned however, he had had a different view on the whole thing.
He then fell silent as she said that she knew that he and Elena getting together hadn't been done on purpose but it had still hurt Damon as it was like the younger vampire had won again. "Wish he didn't see it as a competition. He's always been the better brother. The luckier one," he stated, almost to himself. He then gave himself a mental shake. He was not going down this road. This was one of the reasons he usually preferred to drink alone---if he drank at all. He'd go from having a good time to voicing all his insecurities and secrets to whoever was with him. Of course, that had usually been Lexi who knew all of it anyway, so....
Stefan let out a moan as she continued to feed. She was definitely getting into it and that was getting him all hot and bothered. While a small part of him knew that he should put a stop to it, another part---a larger part---of him was too drunk to care. He let out a growl as he felt his features change and then he leaned over and went to sink his teeth into her neck. Her blood was calling him and he was going to answer. Heck, it wasn't like he could actually hurt her. And if he did become a danger, she'd just snap his neck and be done with it.

If Anna thought she was in heaven before, it was nothing compared to where she ended up after Stefans fangs pierced the soft pale skin of her neck. Fuck. She let out a soft gasp and tilted her head to allow him more access.
Her arm wrapped around his neck to make sure he wasn't about to rethink his decision and she intensified her own drinking binge. God, it felt so good to finally let go and feed. She could feel the tension in the room change from the stress they both carried with them to something else entirely. She wasn't sure if this was a good idea or not, but there was no way in hell she was slowing down now.
Her entire body was tingling as she held him closer to her, sure if she would have done this to a human she would have drained them by no, but luckily with Stefan that wasn't the case. Their vampire bodies healed too quickly for that, the worst she could do would be weaken him and her blood would fix that quickly.
She could feel the tension radiating off of him, causing her to make a split second decision that would change everything. She retracted her fangs and turned to face him, surprising him with a passionate kiss. She could taste her own blood on his lips as both hands wrapped around his neck.
NOTES || I spent 10 minutes debating on whether or not to have the kiss happen in this post or in my next one lol OUTFIT || here.

Stefan let out a moan as he felt Anna drink from him. This was an absolute high! Damn, how could this feel so good? After he started to drink from her, he felt her hand on his neck as if to hold him in place, resulting in a mental scoff. That so wasn't necessary. There was no way he letting up from this. It felt too good. Man, how can this feel so good? he wondered. This was amazing---much more euphoric than anything he had ever felt before. He let out a growl deep within his throat and he felt the bloodlust rush to his face as he went to grab her hair with a hand. Her blood was intoxicating and he wanted more---as much as she would allow. This all hinged on what she was going to allow him to do. After all, she was older and stronger, which meant that if she wanted to, she could easily rip his head off, and call him crazy, but he rather liked having his head exactly where it was.
After several minutes, they pulled apart and then she gave him a passionate kiss, wrapping her hands around his neck. He made a noise of surprise at the contact, not expecting it. However, he reciprocated and went to intertwine a few locks of her hair around his fingers. He had to admit, this felt good. He didn't have to worry about being too rough or accidentally hurting her. He could just be himself. And that's all he wanted. To be himself. And as bad as it sounded, he just couldn't do that with Elena. He always had to be so careful. But he didn't have to do that now. Now he could get as rough or wild as he wanted and it wouldn't matter.
As if spurred on by this thought, Stefan went to push her towards the wall on the other side of the room. All he could think about was the girl in his arms. He wanted to make her feel as good as she was making him feel. Tit for tat and all that jazz. He let out another growl and went to nip her on the neck. It briefly crossed his mind that she would most likely kick his ass for taking this kind of liberty with her, but he pushed it aside. He didn't want to worry about. He just wanted to keep this good feeling that he had.
