Anna moaned as he tugged at her hair. His growls were turning her on and his surprising take charge attitude was making it even more enjoyable. She didn't allow herself to think about exactly what she was doing or more importantly who she was doing it with as he blurred them across the room, pushing her hard up against a wall.
Hot damn! She thought to herself as he growled again, kissing her roughly down her jawline and neck. Her hands took hold of the collar of his shirt, pulling him even closer to her. She hadn't allowed herself this freedom in a long time and it felt good. She couldn't have this with Jeremy, he was human, she would break him. It was a different kind of love...wait, what was she talking about? Oh, shit.
She released her grip slowly and gently pushed him back a bit, catching her breath as she still kissed his lips lightly..she couldn't help herself even though she was trying to stop him. Wait...wait... It was hard for her to form full sentences with the way her head was buzzing. I don't want you to hate me later for this. She leaned against the wall, still mere inches from him. One hand still rested on his chest, the other she used to wipe the lipstick she knew was smeared. She looked at him, clearly terrified of his reaction. Had she just ruined everything? From what Stefan could tell, Anna was enjoying this just as much as he was. Which was good. He wanted her to enjoy this. Without even stopping to think about what he was doing, he began kissing her on her jaw, moving towards her neck. Gorgeous. So damn gorgeous. And not the least bit breakable. It was what he deserved. He wanted someone he could experience fully with no reservations. And Anna would do that for him. She was a vampire like him which meant that she could withstand anything he did to her. And that would feel damn good. He was sick of having to be careful. What had that ever gotten him anyway? It wasn't like he was living it up anywhere. No, he was a vampire and he should just take what he wanted, damn the consequences.
He barely felt it when she grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him close because he was too busy going to place his hands on her waist. Damn, she felt good! He never wanted it to stop. He just wanted to get lost in her over and over again. How come he had never noticed her in this light before? Was it because he had been too concerned with playing at being good? Well screw being good! That hadn't gotten him anything but years of misery and some bitch playing with his head!
Suddenly she pushed him away telling him to wait, though she gave him a light kiss. "What? What's wrong? Is it me?" he asked softly, his eyes filled with some trepidation. Had she gotten a flash of something from his human days? Was she now thinking that he was too tainted? Not that he'd be able to blame her. He was very much aware of how dirty he was---how dirty Father had made him. Why would she even want to touch him? He wasn't stupid. He knew that she definitely deserved better.
He then let out a breath that he hadn't realized that he had been holding when she said that she didn't want him to hate her later for what they were about to do. "Not possible," he promised. Everything was fine. She didn't know. His secret was still safe. And that was all that mattered: that his secret stayed hidden. He had made a promise to never tell and he wasn't going to break that promise for anything...

Oh, it's not you, trust me. I just... She trailed off, not sure how to word everything she was thinking. When he told her it wasn't possible for her to hate him, she moved her hand up to his face and stared into his eyes. She wanted him so bad but she knew what persuing that would mean. She held his gaze for a beat, realizing he was completely serious about continuing. Morals be damned, she pulled him in for another kiss. She was so close to just flipping off her humanity switch for the time being so she didn't have to fool with pesky feelings, about what this would mean for her and Jeremy, for Stefan and Elena. Her hands went to tug at his shirt but she realized he was a bit stiffer than the heated moments before and pulled back once more. She tilted his chin up so he was looking her in the eyes. What are you thinking? She asked softly. If this is about me stopping you, I just don't want you to have regrets in the morning... She looked down and played with the hem of his shirt. She didn't know what was wrong. She shouldn't have done this, she shouldn't have put herself in this position to ruin not only whatever chance she had with Jeremy but Stefans relationship with Elena. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. He nodded as she said that it wasn't him, but trailed off as if unsure of what to say. But that didn't make sense. Why would she be so hesitant if it wasn't him? "Are you positive?" he checked. He didn't want her to regret doing this. Not because of him. Never because of him. Then again, if she said it wasn't him, he supposed that he'd have to believe her. It wasn't like he could do anything if it was the truth anyway. She was significantly stronger than him not only because of her diet but because of how long she had been around. If it came to a fight, there was no question about who would be the victor. So yeah, he wanted to make sure that he hadn't done anything wrong. Because he wasn't sure what'd he do if he had screwed things up. Anna would probably drive a stake through his heart. Or maybe she wouldn't. He really didn't know. But he certainly wasn't going to be taking any chances. Nope. He may be a little drunk at the moment, but he sure as heck wasn't stupid.
Stefan hadn't realized he had stiffened until Anna called his attention to it, pulling back and tilting his chin up so that they were eye-level as she asked him what he was thinking, adding that if it had been about her stopping him, she just didn't want him to have any regrets in the morning. "I won't," he promised. "I just thought I had done something wrong," he stated. And it wasn't even a lie. Not really. He had thought he had screwed up, and it wouldn't have been surprised if he had. He always seemed to do that when it came to these situations. But it would appear that---this time at least---he had been wrong.

She smiled softly as she continued to play with the bottom of his shirt. She honestly wanted nothing more than to rip if off of him and continue what they had started. I want you to be sure. Because this isn't exactly what anyone would call good decision making...I just personally don't have much to lose. She bit her lip, regretting slightly that last part. She shouldn't have said that. She hadn't wanted to bring up Jeremy and her most likely rational fears, but there it was. She was avoiding his eyes, she didn't want to see the look on his face if he realized how wrong their actions were. This was so irrisponsible of her, but she had just come from a small killing spree in Europe, what did anyone expect? Old habits died hard. She sighed, finally looking back up to him. We're both sky high on bloodlust and more than a little drunk. You're telling me right now that you won't regret this when you see Elena? She asked him straightout, searching his eyes worriedly. Why was she questioning this? She should have just let it happen, but she couldn't let him make that kind of decision without thinking it through. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan smiled at Anna as she said that she wanted him to be sure since what they were about to do couldn't be called good decision making and that she didn't have much to lose. "My whole life has been a series of bad choices. I don't think I've ever made a good one," he confessed as she played with the bottom of his shirt. When he was younger, he had followed Father's rules blindly and then when he was a teen, he had let him bully him into keeping his mouth shut. And he couldn't forget the whole Katherine fiasco which had led to him committing patricide. So yeah, his whole life---human and vampire---was just a series of bad decisions. Maybe this would be his first good decision. And wouldn't that be something?
As she fell silent, he looked at her, wondering what she was thinking. Was she having second thoughts? Was she worried about the possibility of Jeremy finding out? She shouldn't be. He wouldn't tell the boy anything, and besides, it wasn't even his business what they did. He and Anna were consenting adults---technically speaking and if they decided to have some fun, it wasn't anyone's business but their own. But maybe she was just trying to stall for some other reason. Maybe this was just another head game. He didn't like those. He had been through enough of them as a human. He gave himself a mental shake. Anna wasn't like that. She was just looking out for him like a good friend.
At his words, she sighed and looked up at him as she reminded him that they were drunk and high on the bloodlust, asking if he was sure that he wouldn't regret what they were about to do the next time that he saw Elena. "I'm sick of being good and worrying about what other people think. It's never worked out for me anyway," he said. He had been bullied by his father to keep their secret for four years and not once had Damon ever noticed! He had just gotten snippy and mocked him for doing everything father had said. Yes, it was true that he hadn't wanted Damon to know what was going on, but if his older brother had truly cared about him, wouldn't he have noticed something was amiss?

She hated hearing him talk about himself like that, but she knew how it felt to see yourself in that light. She had definitely made her fair share of bad decisions and this one was currently ranking towards the top of her list. But he was right. What had being good ever gotten them? She had lost her entire family, she might not even have Jeremy, a guy she risked her life coming back for. He could hate her for all she knew.
Although a part of her wanted to argue his words, and tell him he was wrong, that this was wrong, a bigger part of her silenced it. Screw it. She smiled as she pulled him in for another kiss. She wrapper her arms around his waist and moved them under his shirt, running her nails lightly down his bare back. She gave him a clean out, she had mentioned Elena and to her, that was as good as it was going to get. She could tell his mind was whirring by the look in his eyes but she didn't want him sad. She had been telling herself and him over and over that this trip was about fun...and dammit, fun was what they were going to have. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan knew that Anna had been trying to give him an out but honestly, he didn't want one. He just wanted to have a good time. And that was what Anna was offering him: a good time. And why shouldn't he take it? He deserved it. He was always the one who did what he was told and got jack for it. It'd be better if he just did what he wanted to do for once without worrying about if there was going to be some repercussions. After all, it wasn't like there was anyone here to punish him. No, they had come here to get away from everyone and to do as they pleased.
Almost as if she was on the same wavelength as he was, she uttered the words "Screw it", pulled him close, and kissed him, wrapping her arms around his waist and running her nails across his back, eliciting an aroused hiss from the male vampire. "Anna," he whispered huskily as he went to pull her close to him, causing him to realize that he had far too much clothing on. Well, that was easily remedied. He swiftly removed his shirt and tossed it onto the couch.
And speaking of the couch. That would be a much better place for this. At the very least, it'd be slightly more comfortable for her. With that, he started to grab her, intending to take them over to the couch where---if she allowed it---he would lay her down and then ravish her with kisses and other things. There were lots of tricks that he knew and he could show them to her if she wanted him to. Of course, he'd have to remember not to get too carried away. She was older and stronger than him and the last thing he wanted to do was to piss her off.

Holy hell, just the way he said her name like that got her going all over again. As he stripped his shirt, she pulled back slightly to appreciate the view, and she leaned to kiss down his neck and chest, her nails now running along his abs. She definitely wasn't opposed to subtracting articles of clothes from the equation.
As he grabbed her and blurred them to the couch, she pulled him down on top of her, still kissing his chest. When it came to her outfit, she wasn't wearing much to begin with. Her top was a glorified bra and the skirt could easily be removed whenever he desired. Her breathing was heavy and all she could think about was how much they both wanted this, how much they deserved to let loose like this..and how fitting it be together again, almost a century later.
All inhibitions had currently been abandoned. She was so glad she offered to take him to New York. It was the best idea she'd had in quite a while, it didn't matter how selfish it might have turned out to be. Her intentions were good and she did the responsible thing by attempting..sort of..to stop it. Right?

And apparently him moving it over to the couch was just fine with her. At least, she hadn't made any further objections and that was indicative of consent. And besides, by now, he was positive that she wanted this to stop, he'd be flat on his back with a stake inside his body. And given the fact that he was shirtless and sans stake, he figured that it was safe to say that she was happy with the way things were going. And he liked that. He liked being able to just let loose and to experience what it was like to be a vampire without going psycho on a town.
And he was not going to be thinking about that right now. He had a beautiful woman at his fingertips and she was ready and willing to receive everything that he had to offer her. Not that it was all that much. Anna had like four hundred years on him and probably had had a lot of lovers that were way more experienced than he was. But that didn't matter now. What mattered was that he was the one who was with her. And it was going to be him who made her moan. And he could do it. This was something that she'd learn real soon.
He let out a lust-filled growl and then went to place kisses on her body, intending to start on her chest and work his way down towards her skirt. Once he was at the skirt, he'd remove it if it was all right with her. But if you asked him, she was wearing way too much clothing and at least one thing needed to come off. But that would come in a little bit. Right now he intended to submit her body to as many kisses as he could. And she better believe that this was going to be pleasurable. He had gotten real good at sending girls into overdrive after he turned. She may not believe it yet, but he would sure as hell prove it.

As he kissed down her body, she let her head fall back and just relaxed. He was driving her insane with the noises she wasn't 100% sure he was even aware he was making. She moaned as he reached her chest and suddenly got the urge to rid herself of her own clothes. She reached up between them and unzipped her top to expose her soft pale skin which was now at eye level to him. God, he was so damn sexy. She never thought she'd see him act like this again in a million years.
As he kissed her, she bit her lip and pulled him closer to her. She was sure she could show him a move or too, but right now she was enjoying the idea of him schooling her. As long as he was in control, the voice inside her head telling her to put a stop to this for his sake could be silenced. Unfortunately, it kept getting louder.
Her skin was tingling and she could tell now that the buzz from the alcohol was starting to wear off. She could still feel his blood in her system, though and what he was doing to her now was only adding to it. Every place his skin touched hers felt like it was on fire. Her arms moved from his neck to his strong arms, feeling his muscles as they moved to grip her waist. Christ. She couldn't get enough.
What made her pause was the word that almost tumbled out of her mouth. Jer. She suddenly sobered up and sighed, groaning inwardly because she already regretted what she was about to do. She blurred so that she was now on top of him, strattling him. Why couldn't you have started this when my humanity was off? She couldn't help but pout. As much as I want you continue making me feel like this, Her hands slid across his chest as she leaned into him. I don't think I can let you. She was sad, actually. She was enjoying herself and she knew she could very well be ruining their friendship, but she would only ruin it further if they had sex. If he lost Elena, he could turn his humanity off, and she would never forgive herself for causing that. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan continued what he was doing, getting lost in the scent of her skin. For a brief moment, he wondered if this was what it had been like for them back in the twenties. However, he pushed the thought aside. There was no use in wondering about something he would never remember. He'd just have to make new memories for them. Ones that they wouldn't ever forget. And he was good with that. He'd have to be. It was all he had. He then grinned softly as she removed her top and then went to place a kiss on her bare chest. Beautiful. So beautiful, he thought to himself. How could he have not noticed it before?
As he moved his hands to her waist, she placed her own hands on his arms and he gave her a feral smile, showing his fangs. This is gonna get good, he thought to himself. He then went to squeeze her waist, planning to let his hands move to her middle and then downwards. Yes, it was definitely time to show her what he could do. Well, he supposed from her point of view, it'd be a reminder of what he could do, but from his point of view, he was showing her for the very first time.
Before he knew what was happening, she had reversed their positions so that she was straddling him. "Gonna show me what you know?" he asked somewhat teasingly. If that was the case, he could hardly wait. However, instead of doing anything, she just asked him why he couldn't have done something when her humanity was off. "What?" he asked, confusion entering his voice as his features returned to normal. What had happened? They had been enjoying each other...hadn't they? What had he done wrong? He had to have done something to displease her or she wouldn't have put a stop to what they were doing. He watched as Anna leaned into him her hands sliding across his chest as she said that as much as she wanted to let him continue making her feel good, she didn't think she could. "Wait. You---were just screwing with me?" he asked. Idiot! Of course she was! Did you really think she'd be into you! he scolded himself.
He let out a small huff and his eyes clouded. He couldn't believe he had let this happen. He had let his guard down and he had been burned. What the hell had he been thinking? "Wow. And again Stefan Salvatore wins the prize for world class chump," he said as he started to sit up, intending to dump the girl on the floor. What had he been thinking? Anna didn't care about him. She had probably just wanted his blood. After all, blood-sharing was euphoric and could apparently send a vampire into overdrive. And now that she had what she wanted, he was being thrown away. Typical.
OOC He's feeling a bit hurt as well as confused.

She saw the hurt in his eyes and she held him where he was rather than letting him stand up. Stefan, no. That's not it at all. Now that he was ina sitting position, she moved her hands to his neck, guiding his face so that he had to look at her. I swear, I'm not trying to screw with you. Her eyes moved over his body and back to his face. You have no idea how bad I want this...how bad I want you...but I can't. She sighed, having to use all of her willpower not to say yes to his previous question about showing him what she knew. You have Elena. And I almost don't give a shit because I have no clue where I stand with Jeremy, but that doesn't give me the right to ruin your perfectly good relationship. You don't wanna do this, not really. God, she wished he did. She wished he were single, just for the moment, so she could let go with him. She was sure she had just passed up something amazing. You'll never forgive yourself if you do this. In another lifetime, we could have been amazing. But you're in love with someone else, and I really tried to ignore that, but I can't. Because I know how it feels. She knew how it felt to make a huge mistake and risk losing the one she loved the most, and she couldn't put Stefan in the same position just because she wanted to be selfish. After his comment, she held him in place and tried to correct him, saying that it wasn't it at all. "Of course it is. Why would anyone actually want me?" he asked sharply. She put her hand on his face, forcing him to look at her. "Don't," he growled, going to slap the hand down, not caring if it got him knocked on his ass. He had already been humiliated once tonight. What was one more time? It didn't matter. He was just the good one. The one who didn't raise a fuss about anything. And why should he? It wasn't the way he was raised. And that was the way everyone liked him: good Stefan. Submissive Stefan. He had thought Anna was different. However, it would appear that he had been wrong.
When she said that she wasn't trying to screw with him, he let out another scoff as he once more tried to stand. "And what do you call getting me all hot and bothered just to shoot me down?" he shot back. "At least Katherine usually had the decency to finish what she started," he said. Okay, that was low...especially for him. But he didn't care. He was hurt and he wanted her to hurt too. Then she was talking again, saying that he had no idea how much she wanted him but that she couldn't because she didn't know where she stood with Jeremy and it didn't give her the right to ruin his relationship and that he didn't really want to do this. "I was more than ready, Anna," he retorted, gesturing to his bare chest. Really? Did she really believe that he would've taken off his shirt if he wasn't in to what they were doing?
He then shook his head angrily as she said that he'd never forgive himself if they went through with they had been planning and that in another lifetime they would've been amazing, remind him that he was in love with Elena which she had tried to ignore but couldn't because she knew how it felt. "I don't have to take this kind of crap again," he growled, trying to throw her off of him once more. Escape. He had to escape. It was the only way he could deal with having his head screwed with. Anna had played him. She had played him!

Her throat tightened as he compared her to Katherine. He might as well have slapped her in the face. She stayed silent as he grew more and more angry with her. When he tried to remove her, she blurred to a standing position before he had the change to knock her on her ass but she still stood over him, arms covering her still bare chest, preventing him from going anywhere.
Fine. Be mad at me all you want. But I am NOT Katherine, do you understand me? She could hear her voice shaking from emotions. You might be ok with it now, but you woudn't when you needed to face Elena. If you stop and think for just a second, you'd know that. It upset her to hear how betrayed he felt but it was for his own good. She wanted to leave, to lock herself in one of the many bedrooms for the night or just head to Mystic Falls now, but she couldn't. She couldn't leave him in the city, not like this. He was too likely to turn his humanity off. She couldn't turn away from him because that left an opportunity for him to bolt, but she also was not ok with seeing her so vulnerable. Stefan could tell that Anna been hurt by him comparing her to Katherine, but he just didn't care. She had screwed with his head just like everyone else in his life. Well, except for Elena. Elena had never done something like this to him. But everyone else in his life had just used him and spit him out. He had to admit though, he had never expected it of Anna. How could she do this to me? I thought we were becoming friends, he thought to himself. But then again, what did he really expect? Good things hardly ever happened to him. In fact, the only good things that had ever happened to him had been Lexi and Elena and Lexi had just been taken away from him.
Once she was off of him, he quickly stood up and blurred to where his shirt had landed and quickly put it on, letting out a scoff as she said that he could be mad at her all he wanted but that she wasn't Katherine. "Believe whatever you want if it'll help you deal with it," he told her. Hurt. He was still feeling hurt. He had to---he had to get out of here. There was no way he could stay here with her. Not now. Anna was still talking, reminding him about Elena and that even if he had been okay with it now, he wouldn't have been when he had to face her again. At this, Stefan stopped. Anna did have a point there. "You're right. Even though you screwed with me, you're absolutely right. I wouldn't want to hurt Elena like that," he agreed, refusing to meet her gaze. If he made eye contact, she would see the hurt that was still in his eyes and he didn't want her seeing that. There was no need for her to see just how badly he had been hurt. He wasn't going to give her that satisfaction.
He then headed for the room that held his suitcase. Hearing Anna's apology, he shrugged. "It's fine. You did what you had to do," he told her. She had gotten what she wanted. She should be proud of herself. He went into his room, opened his suitcase, and then started grabbed the clothes he had hung up and put in drawers, quickly putting them back in his suitcase. He wasn't going to stay here. He couldn't. Not like this. He'd find a different hotel or just go to a shelter or something. Then tomorrow, he'd head home. Yeah, that was a good plan.

Although he was agreeing with her as he left the room, she could still hear in the tone of his voice that he wasn't buying what he was saying. She groaned as she followed him into his bedroom and watched him packing his bags. Stefan, please... She didn't know what to say. She knew this was a horrible mistake. I'm so sorry. She walked up to him and put a light hand on his arm, turning him to face her. I might be a vampire who can turn my emotions off without a second thought, but Elena can't. This...us...it would kill her. You know it would. I should never have kissed you, but I truly never meant to hurt you. She stopped short of explaining why. He was all she had in Mystic Falls, pretty much all she had keeping her from bailing out and going on a killing spree. Stay. I'll leave. I'll take Chris home and find somewhere to stay. It was safer if he stayed here. Just promise me you won't lose yourself in all of this. Promise me I can leave you alone, tonight, and I won't regret it in the morning. She was more concerned about him going out and killing someone. Staying in the hotel room was the safest bet for the state of mind he was in. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

To Stefan's annoyance, Anna followed him into his room, watching him as he packed. She then spoke his name and then trailed off. "Please what? What could you possibly have to say? It was nicely played. Well done. I couldn't even tell I was being screwed with," he said. Give the lady a prize. She took me hook, line, and sinker, he thought to himself. Okay, maybe he was acting a bit bitter, but could you really blame him? He had never liked it when he was this weak. He had promised himself he'd never be used like that again. And then what did he do? He let himself be suckered by her. How much of an idiot could he really be?
When she apologized again, he shook his head. "It's fine, Anna. No big deal," he told her, his eyes clouding when she reminded him that she might be a vampire who could turn off her emotions but Elena wasn't, and that them together would kill her. "I know," he said. And he would never want to hurt her. She continued, apologizing for kissing him as she had never meant to hurt him. When he felt her hand on his arm, he froze. Stefan turned to leave the room when he felt a hand on his arm. "Hey. You know I didn't mean to hurt you," his father said. He gave himself a mental shake and subtly stepped out of the touch. "It's fine," he told her. "No big deal," he assured her. And it really wasn't. So what if he been played? It was nothing new.
Then she was telling him to stay and that she'd take Chris home and find some other place to stay. "No, it's fine. I'm sure I can find a place. Hell, I can just hit the streets if I have to," he told her. It didn't make sense for her to leave as she was the one paying for everything. He was the one who needed to leave. Yeah, leaving was good. He just had to get out of here. He didn't want to stay here anymore. He just---he had to get out of here.
Once he had everything back in the suitcase, he snapped it shut, hoisted it over his shoulder, and headed out even as the girl begged him to promise her that he wouldn't lose himself and that she could leave him alone without having to worry about him. "I'll be fine," he promised. "And don't worry, Anna. No one's gonna find about this. Maybe it's been a while, but I still remember how to keep my mouth shut," he stated and headed for the door.

The bitterness remained in his voice. She could tell he knew she was right, but she could also tell he still believed she had done this on purpose. Dammit, Stefan. Don't act like this. She was growing frustrated, mostly at herself for screwing this all up. Apparently, honesty was the best way to go about this but how? How could she tell him what she needed to without making a complete fool out of herself? She saw him heading for the door and she knew she didn't have a choice. You wanna know why I kissed you? She blurted out, wincing at her own words and what she knew it would lead to. She walked to him slowly as if afraid he would bolt before she got the words out. I liked you. When Katherine was pulling her stunts with you and your brother...I could never say it, but I hated watching her do that to you. When I saw you in the 20's, we kind of just fell together. She shrugged, still choosing her words carefully. I thought I'd be ok. She smiled softly. But then I woke up and Rebekah was standing over me. I was lucky to make it out of your apartment without getting staked. She took a breath. By the time I saw you again, I had almost forgotten about those feelings, and from what I could tell, you had. I had brushed if off as me grasping at straws. Feelings were a sign of weakness, and they only ever got me hurt. The only thing on my mind was my mother. Then Jeremy happened, and those feelings came back for someone else. I let them escalade into a relationship and it almost got me killed. Your brother is the only reason I'm alive. But you kept that secret, too. I wanted to help you. That's why I brought you here. She felt her breath catch in her throat and she almost stopped right there. She could stop right now. But she couldn't allow herself to do so. I'm tired of being alone. I'm tired of not being wanted or needed for anything. It was so selfish for me to kiss you, but it was so easy to fall back into that. I still could. NOTES || I hope this is ok! OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

Stefan was angry. And hurt. He had been played and she was just trying to brush what she had done aside as if it was no big deal. After he told her that she had played him well, she got angry, telling him not to act like he was. "So, what? I'm just suppose to grin and bear it when I get used? Sorry. One lifetime of that is enough," he spat out before he could stop himself. He didn't need this crap anymore. He was stronger now. And he wasn't going to go back to being that weak little boy who had been too scared to do anything.
As he headed for the door, she heard him ask if he knew why she had kissed him. "Because we were both drunk and you decided to go for it," he responded. Or something like that. To be perfectly honest, he had no idea why she had kissed him if it wasn't to screw with him. He then fell silent as she continued, saying that she had never liked watching Katherine play her games with him and Damon and that when they met up again in the twenties, they had just sort of fallen together. "So we screwed. Great," he said with a sigh. He already knew this. There was no need to rehash it. His eyes flickered a bit as she said that she had thought that she'd be okay, but then had woken up to see Rebekah standing over her and had been lucky to get out of his apartment without being staked. Rebekah. There was that name again. He frowned in concentration, but couldn't come up with anything. He then gave himself a mental shake. Oh well. It wasn't like he expected to remember it anyway.
He then turned to face her again as she continued on, saying that when they had seen each other again, she had almost forgotten her feelings for him and it had seemed like he had forgotten his feelings for her, that she was focused on finding her mother, had met Jeremy, and then had started a relationship with him. "And that relationship was pretty good I gather," he stated. Then she reminded him about how she had nearly died and how Damon had saved her and that he had kept the secret for them, and that she had wanted to help him, which was why he had brought him there. However, he barely heard the rest of the speech. The only part that resonated in his head were the words "But you kept that secret, too." Before Stefan knew what was happening, his mind had been transported back. Stefan stared at his father, a range of emotions on his face. He couldn't believe this had happened again. "You remember to keep this quiet, don't you?" the man asked. "Yes," he responded hoarsely. A piercing pain in his palm and the smell of blood told Stefan that he had stabbed his palm with a nail as he curled a hand into a fist. "I kept it a secret," he repeated. He then let out a short scoff of laughter. "Wow. Is that all anyone thinks I'm good for? Keeping their damn dirty little secrets?" he growled. If he heard some variation of that line one more time, he swore he was going to scream. "I don't care what anyone thinks, but I am not some freakin' toy!" he growled, his voice almost animalistic as he threw the suitcase across the room, causing it to spill open.
He inhaled and exhaled slowly, trying to compose himself as she told him that she was tired of being alone and not wanted or needed for anything, and even though it had been selfish of her to kiss him, it had been easy to fall into her feelings for him and still could. Really? She's still harping on this? he thought. What did she expect? That he'd just buy into her crap and forgive her? "Yeah, well, being unloved, unwanted, and unneeded is sometimes a whole lot better. Believe me I know," he said lowly and then blurred to where his suitcase was and quickly cleaned up the clothes that had spilled out of it. Yeah, leaving was definitely necessary now. If he continued like this, he'd tell her the truth about everything. And no matter what, he couldn't do that.

As he threw sharp comments at her like knives, she hesitated, not knowing what to do. She couldn't blame him for taking it this way, but he wasn't exactly listening to her either. She really did want something, but it wasn't right when he was with Elena. She wasn't good enough to compete against Elena and she knew the only reason he had said those things was because he got carried away.
She could sense his frustration with his entire situation and knew how hightened those feelings were now that he had human and vampire blood pumping through his system, not to mention the alcohol. She realized there was more to the story than what she had just done, it probably had to do with Katherine and how she had betrayed him, but Anna had no intention of hurting him that way, didn't he understand that?
Fine. Be angry with me. But don't lose Elena over this. At least one of us should end up happy. She said quietly, leaning up against a wall. She was going to let him leave. She didn't seem to have a choice. He wouldn't stay there. There was still tension in the room and she could see the hurt in his eyes. A huge part of her wanted to pull her back over to her and start where they had left off...but she couldn't let herself consider that as an option. It would never work. He would cool down from this, but if she continued on the path they had been set on, he would resent her forever. NOTES || OUTFIT || here. [/tt]

As Stefan ranted, he could feel all of his emotions rising to the surface. All the pain, the anger, the resentment---it was all consuming him. And if he wasn't careful, he'd end up spilling his life story. And that just couldn't happen. He had to get control. He had to calm down. But how could he? He had been played! She had played him! Why was everyone always screwing with him? Did he have some sort of sign somewhere on his person that said "Come screw with me"? Sometimes it sure felt like it. But he had thought that things had been starting to look up for him, though he supposed he was wrong. And really, that wouldn't surprise him. He was always wrong when it came to this kind of thing. Which really sucked, but what could he do? It wasn't like he could change it.
Finally, he ran out of steam and he inhaled and exhaled slowly, trying once more to compose himself as she said that he could be angry with her, but he shouldn't lose Elena over what had happened, and that at least one of them should be happy. "You're right," he said, his eyes clouding as he bent down to pick up the suitcase. "And I'm sorry. I shouldn't have freaked out on you. I had no right," he continued. Okay, so he had felt hurt at what had happened, but if he had been thinking straight, he would've seen right away that she was doing the best thing for them. Instead, he had acted like she was victimizing him. And she hadn't been. Stefan wasn't sure if this new-found clarity was because the bloodlust and alcohol were fading from his system or because he had just calmed down, but he welcomed it and he was sure that Anna did too.
He looked to the door, glanced at Anna, and then back at the door again. Was he really wanting to leave or had that just been his hurt feelings? Where exactly was he going to go? It wasn't like he knew anyone in the city and he wasn't with Lexi. Lexi. If he had screamed at her the way he had screamed at Anna, she would've kicked his ass for sure. He let out an unneeded sigh and then carried his suitcase back to his room. He didn't need to leave. Neither one of them had nothing wrong unless you counted him flying off the handle like an infant. As he unpacked his things once more, he tried to push back the memories he had unwillingly dredged up.

Anna watched him as he calmed down. She felt horrible for hurting him and even worse for her actions that had started their argument. As he picked up his suitcase and returned to his room, she sighed. She didn't know if she should follow him or not.
She decided to go ahead and get rid of the human before anything else distracted them, so she found where he had been compelled to earlier and woke him. "Go home. Forget everything that happened tonight. Do not contact the girl you were with tonight. She can do better." She compelled him for a final time. He nodded slowly and left the room. She then went straight to her room to pack her things.
It was stupid of her to even entertain the notion that her and Stefan cound be a possibility. It would never happen, not with Jeremy and Elena in the picture now. And she truly loved Jeremy. She was just too afraid to find out if he could forgive her for faking her own death. She never wanted to lie to him and now once she told him about this weekend, she didn't see her being lucky enough for a future with him.

From his room, Stefan heard Anna walking into another room and started talking to Chris, compelling him to leave and telling him to forget about the girl he had been with as she could do better. Yup. She definitely can, he thought to himself. But then again, so could Elena. He wasn't really sure what she saw in him. He was a monster, a predator. Tonight had just proved that. What was he supposed to do? He had no control and he had completely lost it. Tonight had been a complete and total bust. What had he been thinking? He knew better than to feed on human blood. But on the other hand, he needed the strength from the human blood so that he could fight Katherine. She was a danger to all of them, not just Elena and he needed every advantage he could get...even if it meant risking him blacking out again.
He then let out a sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. He needed to talk to Anna. She needed to know why he had gotten so upset at her. But he couldn't just tell her about what happened to him back then. No one was supposed to know. Well, he supposed he could just explain about the head games. That wouldn't be revealing anything. With that, he walked out of his room and headed for Anna's. When he got there, he stopped outside her door and knocked. "Anna, can we talk? I owe you an explanation as to why I freaked out on you," he stated. And he really did. She needed to know that she hadn't done anything wrong and that he had just flashed back to a bad period in his life. Hopefully, he could make her understand...

//not formatted and probably short because I'm a lazy little shit who doesn't wanna get on the computer lol
Anna heard him coming and wiped her face. Her back was to him and she hoped her makeup wasn't as messed up as it should be. She was going to ask Jeremy if she could compel him. It was the only way to keep him from hurting. It was all she would do to him. It was all she was capable of doing. Screwing up. She couldn't do a relationship. She wasn't made for it.
She turned to Stefan and forced a smile. "It's not necessary, Stefan." She said. As curious and concerned as she was, it wasn't her business what underlying story he felt like he needed I share. "It was my fault. It was stupid. I'm taking full responsibility." She shrugged, putting some final things into her bag and tossing it over her shoulder effortlessly.
